Round Robin # 1 Authors: Elsa Rose * Chris * Lela Rose * Mouse * Susan * Amanda * Heidi Justin and Brian sat in the Corvette outside of the loft. Heavy rain and dark clouds hid the fact that it was early evening. The entire drive from downtown Pittsburgh had been completed in silence; each man taking furtive glances at the manila folder that lay on Justin's lap... Justin turned to Brian, his eyes searching for answers. Finally, he couldn't stand the silence any longer. "It's not like we did anything wrong you know. Even Michael will come to accept that in time." "I still think we should have waited before asking everyone to show up at the loft. I'm not looking forward to going up there." Brian's eyes looked up to the windows that glowed in through the rain. Justin leaned over and placed a soft kiss on his lips. "Well we can't just sit here all night." His fingers caressed the envelope. "We've got to got up there and give them the news. Some of them will be supportive some won't but it's the chance we have to take." Brian knew that Justin was right. He looked up at his window again. He could see the shadow of someone moving around. He let out a sigh. "You're right we have to go up there. I've never hidden from them before and I'm not about to start now." Justin squeezed his hand in support, "Then let's go and face them." Brian gave a defiant nod, as if he was preparing to face his executioner. The men climbed out of the car and dashed into the building. Justin slipped the folder into his coat to keep it from getting drenched. Once inside, Brian called for the elevator, avoiding the stairs, wanting to delay the inevitable for as long as possible. Once inside, he pulled the gate shut and gave one final look to Justin. The blond smiled and gave him a reassuring pat on his arm, whispering, "It'll be okay." Brian gave a smile, not entirely convinced. The elevator arrived at their destination. Brian and Justin exited, and stood before the loft's heavy metal door. Without further word, both men took deep breaths, and slowly exhaled. In time with his exhalation, Brian took hold of the door handle, and slid the door aside. Then entire gang, congregated around the kitchen island, looked up at the noisy entrance. Brian and Justin stepped in at the same time. Brian slid the heavy door shut. Brian noticed that they had made themselves quite comfortable. The littlest hustler Hunter was the only one not at the kitchen island. He was lounging on the floor pillows watching the 32" color TV Justin had cajoled him into buying. Everyone seemed to have a drink in their hand. Even hunter had one of Justins disgusting strawberry sodas. A bottle of Brian's favorite wine had been open, Ted and Emmett were sipping on his JB. "Make yourself comfortable," he said snidely. They at least had the decency to blush, well everyone but Melanie. She smirked and raised her glass of wine, "Thanks we already have." "It's about Damn time you got here. We've been waiting forever," Deb complained pointing her purple lacquered finger at him. "I see you found something to keep you busy," Brian said. He was cut off from making further nasty rejoinders by a little whirlwind that threw himself at his legs. "Da da, I come to see you and Jus'n," Gus said wrapping his arms around his fathers knees. Brian leaned down and picked up his son, He tousled his hair, "We're glad you came to see us." Justin lifted the squirming bundled from Brian's arm. "Hey Gus." "Well, what the Hell was so important that you called us all over here," Mikey demanded getting up from the floor. Justin and Brian exchanged a heated look between themselves before turning their eyes back to their guest. Justin handed Gus back to Brian and reached inside his coat and pulled out the manila envelope. "This is what is so important," Justin told them. Everyone stared at the envelope and then up and Justin and Brian's faces. Brian leaned in and kissed Justin's cheek. "You tell them." he said softly. "No, it has to be you. They'll think I'm hallucinating." Justin teased. Brian huffed a laugh not noticing the odd stares that everyone gathered in the room was giving each other - this was not the Brian Kinney they were used to. "We called you all here to make an announcement. This is the one and only so listen up. Justin and I flew to LA this weekend and we." he paused dramatically and began to pass out photos from the envelope. "You what for fuck sake Brian? I don't have all day here." Michael began. He looked at the picture that had been passed to him. "So you and Justin were at some kind of convention." "Wrong answer Mikey," Justin smirked and held up his left hand where a gleaming gold ring shone from the third finger on his hand. "We were getting married." Mikey was the first to respond. "What the fuck do you mean getting married?" He demanded. "I don't fucking believe it," Mel said. Justin proudly removed the certificate from the manila folder and held it up for all to see. "Read for yourself," he leaned into his new husband's side. Mel walked over and took the certificate from Justin's hands and began to read. A slow smile crept across her face. "Well I'll be damned! Brian Kinney, Super Fag is now a married man!" Mel had to read the certificate again. Even on paper in black and white she was having trouble believing it was true. Slowly the marriage certificate was passed around the room so everyone could read it. "Will miracles cease to exist," Vic teased good naturedly. He was pleased that Brian had finally come to his senses and realized that he and Justin belonged together. For a few moments Brian and Justin were wrapped up in hugs, pats on the back and well wishes. Lindsey was first, then Ted, Emmett, Vic, Rodney, Ben and even Hunter. Michael did not congratulate them. "Why would you marry him?" Michael asked, "Especially after everything he's done to you?" "Stay out of this," Ben warned Michael. "This is not your concern." Brian eyes frosted over as he looked at Mikey. He adjusted Gus in his arms. He gave Michael a warning. "Listen to Ben, Mikey. The only reason we invited you here is because you are our family and we wanted to share this moment with you. And although we'd love to have your approval it isn't needed." Mikey mumbled under his breath, "If this is what you want then fine. Just don't say anything when he leaves you for another greasy haired musician." Everyone tried to ignore Mikey. This was a festive...unheard of occasion and they wanted to celebrate. Brian Kinney had actually did something as hetero as getting married. It would probably snow in Georgia in July. "Well, I'll be dippy damn," Deb said as her eyes misted with tears. "Come here you little shit," she said smothering Justin in a bear hug. "Why didn't you tell us? We could have had a celebration waiting." Emmett jumped up and down and clapped, "Well we can still have a celebration. It's too late to cook but we can order an assortment of food and order a cake from the new bakery that delivers and we'll just have ourselves a little impromptu reception." Justin turned to Brian and smiled, "Can we Brian?" Brian leaned over and kissed him. "Anything you want Sunshine," he turned to Emmett, "There's some Dom in the wine closet pull it out. I want to celebrate." Emmett immediately grabbed the telephone and began placing the food and cake orders. Lindsey pulled down the champagne flutes and lit some candles. Once Brian agreed to the reception the loft erupted in activity. He and Justin stood back watching as their friends went about preparing for their makeshift reception. Someone put a jazz CD in Justin's cheap CD player. The lively strands of the horns filled the empty loft. The loft was abuzz with chatter, activity and music. Deb came over and kissed Brian on the cheek, "You did good son. I'm proud of you." Brian basked in her support and praise. For years she had been and was still the only mother figure in his life. There was a knock on the door. Justin reluctantly untangled himself from his husband's side. "That should be our last four remaining guests," he said and he went to open the door. His mother, Daphne, Molly and Cynthia stood on the other side. He'd called them when he and Brian got in town and told her to be at the loft and to stop and pick up Daphne and Cynthia and he'd explain it to her when she arrived. He told her it was an emergency. "What is the emergency?" his mother demanded. "I almost got a speeding ticket getting here." She looked around at all the activity in the loft, "What is going on here?" "Yeah, Justin what *fuck* is going on?" Daphne piped in. Justin gave them an aloof smile. "I'll let Brian tell you." Jennifer raised her eyebrows expectantly as she looked past her son and up at the older brunet. "Well?" She asked. Brian looked at Justin conveying with his eyes what he knew he couldn't say out loud. Justin smirked a little and reached for the man giving his arm an affectionate squeeze. Brian's expression softened as he shifted Gus and turned to face the four new arrivals. He snaked his arm around his spouse’s waist pulling him close as he balanced Gus on the other hip. He couldn't help but marvel for a moment at how right it all felt. "Well Jennifer it seems that the corruption of your son is now complete, I've married him." Daphne's gasp caused Justin to laugh as Jennifer's mouth dropped open in shock. Cynthia shook her head as she furrowed her brow accessing the blond who had captured hard ass Kinney's heart. "Dad's gonna kill you." Molly announced. "He'll freak totally out." There was shock in her tone but also a mischievous delight. "Hush Molly," Jennifer scolded as she recovered. "Well." She replied breathily as she looked long and hard into her son's eyes. What she saw there told her everything that she needed to know. "It would have been nice to have been invited." She couldn't stop herself from a little emotional dig but then pushed on, "But I can see that this is what you wanted Justin." Justin felt a lump rise in his throat and was surprised by how much his mother's acceptance meant to him. He nodded not trusting his voice. "Congratulations." She stepped forward pulling her son into a tight embrace and then to Brian's surprise did the same to him. "Thank you Jennifer." Brian caught her eyes his tone soft with unexpected gratitude. "Well it looks like we're all family now." She smiled hoping that their rough beginning could be overcome with enough time and effort. She loved Justin and even though she had possessed her own fair share of doubts concerning Brian in the beginning, he had proven his love for Justin time and again. "Dad will go nuts!" Molly announced once more. "Who gives a fuck what he thinks." Justin spat at his sister. "Mom, Justin said fuck!" Molly whined. "You know Molly; I think I have the perfect friend for you." Brian smiled at the small ginger haired girl. "He's right over there in the comic book t-shirt." Molly furrowed her brow unsure as to why her brother was now laughing but feeling certain it was at her not with her. She wasn't sure she was going to like this tall brunet or not. "You freak!" Daphne threw herself at her best friend as soon as Jennifer stepped aside. She grabbed his hand and admired his ring. "I can't believe it. You told me this would happen though." Justin glanced up at Brian feeling himself blush. "Oh did he?" Brian asked raising one eyebrow. "Yeah," Daphne turned to him confidently. "You guys had just met and Justin told me that you would be together." Justin bit his bottom lip and wrinkled his nose staring up at his husband. Brian found it adorable and bent low capturing Justin's mouth in a thorough kiss reassuring him that he had nothing to worry about. "So…" Cynthia approached her boss and friend. "An old married man." She teased. "Whose old?" Brian asked as she hugged his neck then ruffled Gus' hair. "Okay well everything is set." Emmett announced interrupting the moment. "The cake is on the way as well as some finger foods. Now, we all want you to come over into the living room and tell us about how this happened while we wait for the food. If we couldn't be there in person at least give us the blow by blow." Catching Brian's expression he quickly added. "So to speak." ******************************* Half an hour later, the entire gang was situated in the living room, food and drink in hand but temporarily forgotten as they were about to get the story of their lives; unable to find chairs for all, many were sitting on the floor. Regardless of comfort or position, everyone's primary focus was on the story that Brian and Justin began to lay out. "So, you all knew that I went to Los Angeles with Brian last week." Justin said. As if watching a tennis match, everyone silently turned their attention from the blond to Brian. Brian quickly clarified, "business trip." The extended family nodded an `oh' all at once and looked back to Justin, still not speaking. "Anyway, we got there and Brian's meeting was that evening, it went really badly." Justin paused and looked to his partner, unsure if he should have let that detail out or not. Brian scoffed, rolled his eyes and nodded in agreement, "baaaad," he drawled. Once again the collective gaze went from Justin to Brian and then back again. "So we were in LA," Justin began, "for five days, Brian's meeting was over with so we had all that free time. We decided to check out the baths near the hotel." Brian groaned, "Biiiiig mistake." Justin frowned and playfully smacked his husband, "I'm telling this! Of course Brian insisted that the baths were to the right.” Justin grinned at him. “And you all know that isn’t worth your life to point out that he’s a tad directionally challenged despite how many times we might have been lost on previous outings.” “I like the scenic route.” Justin rolled his eyes and continued. “So we walked away from the hotel and Brian saw this sort of fern bar that he insisted we go in to fortify ourselves for the next part of our journey – like we were in the middle of a fucking desert or something.” He giggled. “This hot guy was at the bar kept staring at us and I could see that he thought Brian was interesting, so he came over to our table.” “He was interested in blond boy ass Sunshine.” Brian smirked. “He asked us if we were in town to get married.” Justin giggled again. “I thought Brian was going to choke to death on his drink.” “Well he shouldn’t have asked when I was swallowing. It came as a surprise that’s all. It seemed half the state was there to get married. You’ve never seen so many dykes and queers all cuddly all at once. Some of them had to have been a hundred if they were a day.” Brian continued. “I remember hearing something on the news about it, but frankly my dear” he paused and looked at Justin. “I didn’t give a damn.” “The guy said he could understand why I wouldn’t want to get married. After all I’d be stuck with Brian who was muuuuuuch older than I was – and he wrote down his phone number and slipped it in my pocket and then he left.” “The fucker” Brian mumbled. “Hey, he said it, not me.” Justin grinned. “I told Brian that much as I’d like to get married, damned if I was going to drag my groom kicking and screaming to the alter. He had to be the one to ask me because he’d never hear it from me.” Justin looked around to make sure he still had everyone’s attention before continuing. Satisfied he continued. “We’d been sipping our drinks quietly for about five minutes when Brian asked, *Justin be truthful, Do you want all that hetero, lezzy stuff? Like rings and marriage?” I decided that it was time I was honest with Brian so swallowed my Beam for courage and answered him. I told him, *Yes, Brian I want the hetero, lezzy stuff. For me it’s not hetero or lezzy it’s an expression of love and commitment. I love you. I have since the first night we met. I want an exclusive relationship with you. I want to be committed to you. I can’t force you to feel the same way I do about love, commitment and marriage anymore than I can change the way I feel.* So, I thought Brain would say something sarcastic or call me a twat but he didn't. We ordered more drinks and I thought that Brian was just going to tie one on. Then he asked me, *Are you going to use it?* So, I said *Use what?* Then of course Brian gets all snarky and says *The number he slipped you twat.* Which surprised me. I didn't think Brian had seen the guy slip the number in my pocket." Brian smirked, “When it comes to you Sunshine I see everything.” I smiled and continued. "I took the number out of my pocket and tore it in pieces. I told Brian I have all the man I want and can handle right here with me. Why would I got out and look for more? So Brian leans across to kiss me and we are like making out right their in the bar." Justin squeezed Brian’s hand. For a moment they forgot about their guests as they looked at each other. Recalling that moment in the bar. Brian was wondering if he and Justin could slip away for a few short minutes. It had been hours since they’d had gotten each other off in the plane’s restroom. He’d initiated Justin in the mile high club. Now it was time he and his husband initiated their home as spouses. He sipped his drink and listened as Justin continued telling the gang what had led up to their getting to the alter. His mind was thinking up likely excuses he could use to get Justin to the bathroom for a few minutes so that they could recreate their *mile high* interlude on the ground. ******************** Finally seeing that Justin wasn't reading his mind like a good husband should, Brian cleared his throat. "You know," Brian interrupted gaining everyone's attention. "I'm not sure you're remembering this right." He furrowed his brow giving Justin a serious look. "What?" Justin asked his voice rising with surprise. "What are you talking about?" He laughed wondering if Brian was serious. "I'm remembering everything right." He asserted. The group once again picked up their roles as tennis spectators as their heads swiveled quickly between the two men. "Nope, you're forgetting something." Brian replied confidently. Justin furrowed his brow further as he ran back over the events he had described comparing them to the images he treasured in his mind. He shook his head. "You don't remember?" Brian sighed in frustration. "Remember what?" Justin asked feeling equally at a loss. "Excuse us." Brian spat sounding more angry than frustrated. Justin seemed as shocked as anyone at the man's sudden outburst. He gave the group an apologetic smile before rising and following Brian into their bathroom. "Shit, I can't believe how pissed Brian got. Justin must have forgotten something really important." Michael triumphantly declared. "Brian's older. Everyone knows that the memory is the first thing to go." Daphne defended her best friend. Michael scowled in her direction as she stuck out her tongue in his. At that moment the intercom buzzed. "It's the food." Emmett announced excitedly as he leapt to his feet and practically danced to the door. "Well the poor delivery guy is going to need some help." Ted muttered as he sat his glass down on the expensive coffee table and followed his friend. By passing Emmett he opened the door and headed down the stairs to retrieve the food. "I'll go help." Ben offered as well. He glanced over at Michael noticing that the smaller man's eyes seemed riveted to the bathroom door. "Michael?" He called. "Michael?" Ben called once more but this time louder and with obvious irritation. Michael jumped at the sound, his expression that of a child caught with his hand in the cookie jar. "What?" He asked. "Go help." Deb ordered as she offered Ben a shrug of apology then turned once more giving her son an irritated glare. She wasn't sure when Michael would finally out grow his obsession with his best friend, but she hoped that the fact that Brian had just married Justin was one more step in the right direction. Michael rose still glancing up at the closed door. He couldn't believe that Justin didn't remember their wedding story. No wonder Brian was so pissed. If Brian had married him, Michael was sure he would have remembered every detail. Just more evidence that Justin was just a spoiled little shit. Confused and surprised by Brian's reaction, Justin quickly followed his husband into the bathroom. "Close the door Justin," Brian demanded. "Brian, what the fuck is going on? What are you so pissed……" before Justin could complete his sentence Brian had spun around and pinned him against the door. Before he realized what was going on Brian leaned in and passionately kissed Justin nearly nocking the wind out of him. "Bri…" "Quiet Justin. I am reminding you which part of the story you left out." Finally understanding what Brian meant Justin responded to his heated kisses and a small moan escaped his lips. Justin fumbled for Brian's zipper as he quickly tried to undo it. Unbuttoning his jeans he let it fall to the floor, as he reached in and grasped Brian's fully erect cock, and slowly began to stroke it. Sensing his urgency Justin knelt before his over and took his full length between his hungry lips and greedily began to suck, pulling back to let his tongue encircle the engorged head. Grasping Justin's hair, Brian began to thrust his eager cock reveling in the sensation of his warm lips. Feeling on the edge of his orgasm he steadily increased the speed of his thrusting. Finally succumbing to the ecstasy he let out a loud moan as he shot his cum into Justin's mouth. Lapping up the last bit of essence from his lover Justin stood up and hungrily sought Brian's lips. "Was this the part of the story I left out?" Justin coyly smiled. "Not quite, Sunshine. There is one more part you left out." Puzzled, he gave Brian a questioning look. "What part did I leave out?" "This…" as Brian started slowly trailing kisses along Justin's throat. Justin leaned against door and closed his eyes and savored the feelings that encompassed him. Giggling like two teenagers they emerged from the bathroom grinning like Cheshire cats. All heads turned in their direction. Having heard the moaning coming from the bathroom it finally dawned on their group of friends just what part of the story Justin didn't remember. Holding hands they walked back to where their friends were laying out the food and setting up a small table for a three-tier wedding cake. The cake was breath taking with white silk frosting trimmed in baby blue roses and two grooms sitting on top holding hands. Brian stopped in front of the cake pulling Justin in front of him wrapping his arms around him and resting his chin on Justin's shoulder facing the cake. All their friends gathered around watching the beautiful smiles on the newlywed’s faces. "The food arrived while you two were in the bathroom." Michael stated in a very harsh tone. "Brian had to remind me of some very important details in our story. Sorry if we missed out on the food arriving." Justin said looking over at Michael smiling like the cat that ate the cream. "Well how do you like the cake? I'm so glad that they had one on such short notice." Emmett asked feeling very proud of him self for getting the cake for his friends. " Its great Em. But I have to ask how did you get both of the grooms to look like Brian and me?" Everyone looked closer and sure enough they did. Standing on top of the cake was a tall brunette holding the hand of a shorter blond. Everyone laughed and reminded the newlyweds that it was tradition to save the top-tier for their first wedding anniversary. "Do you boys want to cut the first piece of your wedding cake?" Debbie asked holding out a knife. "Cut the cake with me sunshine." Brian asked Justin as he took the knife from Debbie. With both of their hand wrapped around the knife they looked up at their friends smiling faces as they brought the knife down making the first cut in to the moist cake. Brian awoke with a start. “What the hell?” He looked over to at Justin asleep under the glow of the orange lights. He looked so peaceful. Brian was happy he didn’t have to explain why he was drenched in sweat. He stared at him reliving the dream in his head. He was so happy in the dream. He would never want to admit that but god. What the hell was he doing, dreaming of fuzzy lezzy wedding and impromptu receptions? “Justin”…. no answer “Justin gets the fuck up” Justin woke up feeling very scared he didn’t know what was going on he didn’t know if the loft was burning to the ground or if Brian was having a heart attack. “What the hell is wrong?” “Justin rollover” Justin had been wakened up countless times for a middle of the night fuck so many times but he felt a bit uneasy, what made Brian so mad? Brian moved in on Justin like a tiger claiming its kill. He trailed kisses along his sides and scrapped his nails along his back. Brian wasn’t taking his time he wasn’t going to make love to the boy beneath him or cuddle with him he was just going to fuck Justin until he forgot the dream. Brian reached over to night stand grabbed the lube and a few condoms he didn’t know if one fuck could cleanse his dream from his mind it might take two or three. He ripped open the packet slipped on the condom and with out much fan fair plunged into the relaxed hot hole waiting his cock. He pushed in deep making passes over Justin prostate. Justin’s ass clenched Brian’s cock with every push and thrust. He felt Justin helping him willing him to come with everything he had. He wasn’t ready yet he wanted this to last as long as possible. He felt Justin reach around feeling his ass trying to get connected trying to fuck he didn’t know. He slapped his hand away and told Justin to grab his own cock and pull. Justin moaned Justin was into it and Justin loved it and hell so did he. The hottest of him fucking Justin and Justin fucking himself was too much he could feel Justin getting closer and so Brian held off he wanted to come with him. Trusting, fucking, faster, harder and deeper Brian and Justin both came at the same time. The both hit the bed at the same time both sighing and moaning breathing heavy; Brian caught his breath and muttered under his breath a very, very quiet “ I DO” March 13, 2004
