Long and Winding Road to Love – 3 Author – Elsa Rose Bryant Thanks to Judy for her plot bunnies (I steal parts of them all the time Yea Judy) For Brenda and Daphne Slowly driving up Justin’s driveway, Brian took the time to view the house his son had been living in for the past few weeks. He had to admit it was impressive. It looked like something out of a gothic novel, complete with tower. The grounds were meticulously maintained, too meticulous to be done by an amateur so Brian figured Justin must have a gardening service. He parked his car in front of the closed garage doors and got out. There was no sign of anyone but then he heard the joyous barks of Harry and Gus’ laughter. Brian headed toward the sounds coming from the yard behind the imposing brick structure of a home. He’d almost reached the corner when a bright yellow rubber ball flew past, Harry hot on its trail. The small dog bounding forward with leaps, his feet barely touching the ground. Brian ran and scooped up the ball throwing it back in the direction it had come from. Soon Gus and Brian along with Harry were having an exciting game of ‘get the ball’ the two men laughing and Harry barking until he finally wore out and lay panting on the cool green grass. It was then that Gus walked over to Brian and hugged him. Justin watched from the window of his studio and snapped a picture of the two men, both of them alike. One older, one younger, with the laughing exhausted dog at their feet. It would be a great addition to his series of paintings. “Hey Dad, the J Dad told me you were coming today.” “How did he know? I didn’t know myself until this morning.” “He’s kind of psychic.” Gus admitted, knowing his father would dismiss the knowledge as unrealistic. “He does seem to know things before the rest of us do.” Brian admitted as he looked toward the solarium windows where Justin stood watching them. The blond gave him a wave and then turned away to disappear into the depths of the house. “He’s really cool dad. I know you’ll like him. And he’s an awesome artist. He said you’ll be staying for Thanksgiving. I’m looking forward to that. I can show you a ton of stuff and you can meet my friends, Sue-Ann and Mark.” Gus whistled to Harry who came over and sat at his feet. “Harry, let’s show dad his room.” He looked at Brian. “Do you need help with your bags?” “I could use a hand.” Brian replied with a smile. “I think you’ve gotten taller and you’ve definitely filled out more.” “The J Dad is a great cook, but I’m on the swim team and I’m running track and field so it’s mostly muscle.” “I didn’t know you were interested in sports.” Brian’s arm was around Gus’ shoulder as they walked to his rental car. “I’m not really, I still like my computer better than anything. The J Dad bought me the best Dell there is. I can make it do anything. But he said that sitting in front of the computer would be detrimental to my all around health so I joined the track team. And then Mark joined the swim club and so did Sue-Ann, the rest is history.” Gus grinned. “Harry and the J Dad watch us at practice. Harry races with us and J sketches, you know, it’s kind of like we’re a family and we do stuff together. No one ever bothered coming to my school stuff before. Mom and Momma were too busy with work and Jenny. And you’re kind of like this god of the advertising world. There’s no way you’d have time.” “But Justin has time.” Brian commented. “He’s a professor at the school, but he says that I’ll only be this age once and he’s damned if he’s going to miss a moment of it.” Gus giggled. “I bet he’s done a million pictures of me and Harry.” “He sounds like quite a guy.” Brian had to admit that he was a bit jealous of this super version of a father. “He’s the best. I wish he’d find a boyfriend though. I think he’s lonely. He doesn’t date guys much and he refuses to fuck them unless it’s going to be more than once. He said there isn’t anyone worth a second fuck here. But how would he know, he never goes anywhere.” Gus opened the car door to get his father’s luggage from the back seat. “Hey cool car.” He commented. “We have a BMW but I like this Lexus.” “I’m glad it meets with your approval.” “I want to get my driver’s license. I still have my learners permit.” “I suppose the esteemed Justin doesn’t want you to drive at your age.” Brian tried to keep the sarcasm out of his voice. “No, he doesn’t mind me driving. But I kind of crumpled the fender in the BMW two weeks ago so he’s making me take driver’s training.” Gus looked a bit chagrined. “It was an accident but it was my fault. I was looking at a guy and not at the car in front of us. So I hit him when he stopped at a light. Thank goodness for air bags and seat belts. J got the car fixed right away but he was kind of pissed.” “What did he do?” Brian was holding his temper imagining the worst. After all he knew what his father would have done. “He just looked at me real sad. You know like I’d just kicked him or something. And said in this real sad voice. ‘Don’t worry about it. It’s a good lessen to learn and no one was hurt while you learned it. Cars can be fixed, people can’t always be.’ And that’s all he said. I never heard him say one more thing. But man, did I feel like a shit.” Gus shook his head. “There is no way I’m ready to have my license.” Brian’s estimation of Justin rose as he heard the respect in Gus’ voice for the other man. It would be something to tell Mel and Lindsay. Perhaps it would be enough to mollify them since he wasn’t planning on giving them Gus’ address. “Let me know when you get your license. I’ll help you get a car.” “I have the money saved for a car now. I’ve made some good money designing websites for some of J’s clients. I don’t know what kind I want though. And I’m saving for University.” “Gus you know I’ll pay for your education.” “I know, but I want to do it myself. It’s not like I have to wait tables or anything. My web designs are teaching me things as well as bringing in money. If I need help from you I’ll ask. I promise.” He grinned at his dad. “But you’d be surprised at how much money I can make designing web sites and the J Dad has some cool ideas and he doesn’t mind sharing them with me.” “I guess you don’t need me or your mothers any longer.” Brian said as he shouldered one of his bags. “That’s not true. I love you guys. I’ll always need you.” Gus defended. “But dad, I need to be me and J let’s me do that. Mom and momma never did. I always had to be like Jenny, the perfect kid. But I’m not a perfect kid. I’m just a kid and we screw up sometimes and we need different stuff in our lives. Like I needed Harry. It wasn’t just some kind of whim. I really needed him to make me feel good about myself. But no one understood that so I had to leave. I was lucky that I met the J Dad. I probably would have come home in a couple of days and been miserable but this way I’ve discovered tons about myself. Mom and momma always said I was just like you. Only they said it kind of like it was a bad thing. Well it isn’t. I’m proud to be just like you. J said that you are one of the most honorable persons he’s ever met. Even though he’s never really met you in person, he has in other ways. I think that’s kind of a good thing to be just like you and so does the J Dad.” Trying another tactic, Brian asked. “Why do you call him the J Dad sometimes and sometimes just J? “I can answer that.” It was Justin opening the front door to let father and son in. “the J Dad is a courtesy title for when Gus is feeling like a kid and J is for when he’s feeling more grown up. I pretty much answer to either.” He grinned and kissed Gus on the cheek and then brushed his lips against Brian’s. “Hey Mr. Kinney, welcome to our home.” His voice was seductive and teasing at the same time. “J” Gus said with a laugh, “You are so full of it.” He turned to his father. “Be careful Dad, he has a crush on you and he plays for keeps. No one night stands for my J Dad.” Brian looked at Justin who blushed a deep red but said nothing to deny Gus’ words. “Interesting.” Was all Brian could think of to say. The phone rang and Justin said to Gus, “It’s Mark, I’ll take your dad’s bag and show him to his room, you can invite Mark for dinner if you want to.” “I already did and Sue-Ann too. They want to meet the famous Brian Kinney.” He giggled as he raced for the phone. “Got you on that one.” “Actually I knew he had invited them, but I like to let him think he can get away with a few things. It’s a game we play.” Justin whispered to Brian as he picked up the bag Gus had dropped. “Your room is next to mine. Gus has the tower. His office is on the main floor and his bedroom on the second one. He likes it because it’s like being all by himself. I like it because I don’t have to listen to his music.” “He has an office and a bedroom? No wonder he doesn’t want to leave.” Brian laughed. “He has the tower. He liked the idea of having his own office. The boy is an entrepreneur and is always working at something. I’ve taught him how to channel it into making money with his talents. He’s doing alright.” Justin stopped in front of a door. “This is your room for as long as you want to stay. I hope it’s okay. I’ve never been one for visitors. It’s kind of a new experience.” Brian stepped into the large bedroom that was really a bedroom and sitting room combined. “If I didn’t know better, I’d swear I’d designed it myself.” He said as he gazed at the sleek Italian design of the furniture and the strong masculine colors. “I kind of cheated when I knew you were coming and had it done up in your ‘style’. Justin admitted. “How do you know my ‘style’?” Brian asked. “Intuition?” “Apparently rather good intuition.” Brian put his suitcase on the bed. He was impressed with the duvet of dove gray ultra suede and tailored box pleats of the draperies. “Yes, it’s a blessing and a curse. Most times a curse.” Justin muttered. “Your bathroom is through that door. There’s lots of hot water if you want to shower. Dinner will be ready in an hour. The house is open for your inspection, go where you will. There’s no place that’s particularly off limits.” “You sound like a tour guide.” Brian stood near Justin, his hand on the wall on either side of Justin’s head. Not touching the blond but holding him in place nonetheless. He bent down to kiss him and was surprised when Justin ducked under his arm to stand by the door. “Brian, I like you. I really do like you. But you don’t know much about me. There is one thing though that you should know. I’m not a casual fuck for anyone even you. It’s not my nature. So for me it’s all or nothing. I don’t mind lots of nothing while I’m waiting for my all.” He grinned to show he wasn’t upset and then disappeared down the hall toward the kitchen. Brian stood in the bedroom and contemplated what the handsome blond had said. He’d heard it from Gus, but was sure that the Kinney charm would work. It always had before. He really wasn’t sure why it wasn’t happening now. The doorbell rang and Brian could hear Gus greeting his friends. He was surprised to hear the joy and laughter in his son’s voice as the three friends all talked at once while heading for Gus’ rooms. And he realized that he’d never heard Gus sounding as carefree as he was now. “It’s nice to hear isn’t it?” Justin asked, startling Brian who had thought he was alone. “I didn’t mean to startle you. I was just going to ask if you’d like to see my studio. It’s a room I thought you might not want to explore without permission.” Brian turned to Justin. “Gus sounds so different. So grownup.” He shrugged. “I guess he is. He turned seventeen last month. It’s hard to believe he’s that old.” “You mean it’s hard to believe you’re old enough to have a seventeen year old son.” Justin laughed. “Well Mr. K, you should have worn a condom. But then if you had, we wouldn’t have the wonderful Gus now would we.” “Justin, I want to apologize for earlier.” “Brian don’t apologize. I’ve been teasing you for weeks. Gus is right; I do have a crush on you. How high school girlish I know. I’ll behave myself from now on. It’s rude to tease when you aren’t going to put out.” “You never just fuck for the sake of fucking?” Brian had to ask. “No I don’t.” Justin shrugged. “So you can imagine my dance card is rarely filled. But such is life. I don’t dare compromise my principles or I wouldn’t be my own man. It’s just a code I live by.” “And Dartmouth, was that compromising?” Brian asked. “You see I know a bit about you too Mr. Taylor.” “That was compromising in the worst way. It damn near killed me trying to be what someone else wanted me to be. I finally had to decide what I wanted and what that was is very simple. I want to live my life as a gay man. I want a partner who loves me and who I love. That’s about it.” “And money and fame?” Brian asked. “You’re an artist, you apparently have no money problems.” “What good is money or fame without someone to share it with?” Justin asked. “I’ll always be an artist, good or bad, it’s part of me. Fame is nice and money isn’t really a problem, though I suppose I could end up penniless. But if I were loved I wouldn’t care. You see Brian, that’s something I’ve never really had. It’s a treasure beyond wealth and one I continually seek.” “But how would you know you were loved. That’s the thing Justin. The words ‘I love you’ are virtually meaningless these days. Everyone says them, but do they actually know what they are supposed to mean.” Justin smiled a smile that spoke of secrets. “But Mr. K, that’s the good part. I’ll always know if I’m loved. I told you, I’m very intuitive.” “Just how intuitive?” “That’s a conversation for another time Mr. K.” Justin smiled up at him. “We have time to see my studio if you’re interested. The kids were last seen heading for the pool.” “It’s hard to imagine Gus with friends. I’m not used to that. I never realized before how solitary he was.” “He has a lot of friends now Brian, but these two are here most often.” Justin was leading the way down the hall. “Here it is, the studio of the not so famous Justin Taylor.” He threw open the door for Brian to enter. The light was on though the walls were windows and the evening sky showed through in all its muted brilliance. Brian walked into the large room and turned around and around. Propped up on the floor and leaning against the walls were canvases. He could see Gus and Harry, and Gus and himself. He wondered how Justin knew him well enough to paint him so accurately. On an easel was a full sized painting almost complete, of Gus and Harry posed formally if you could call it that as they were both laughing while sitting on a sofa. Both of them had a twinkle of mischief in their eyes which made the viewer wonder what they’d been up to. “You’re good.” Brian said, his voice soft and filed with wonder at the talent of the man beside him. “You must have gone crazy spending all those years at Dartmouth.” “Actually, it wasn’t all that bad. They have some pretty good fine art courses and the business stuff hasn’t hurt me either. I don’t do too badly.” “I heard that your father’s companies have suffered since you took off for parts unknown.” “Not too unknown, after all you found me. I suppose it’s only a matter of time until he finds me. He’ll have to learn the hard way that I’m not going to work with him any longer. He always thought my ability to ‘see’ things was a lot of crap. Well what I see now is me not going back.” Justin’s laugh was bitter. “So you do read minds.” “No I don’t ‘read’ minds. It’s not like I can tell you what exactly you’re thinking. I get impressions and feelings and make assumptions more often than not. Usually I’m right. I don’t see dead people and I can’t locate missing children. Or at least I think I can’t. I don’t know, I haven’t tried. Mostly I can tune in on people I care about. I pretty much can always tell when someone is lying to me. It makes for interestingly short term relationships. You’d be amazed at how often people lie to one another in their every day lives.” “But it doesn’t seem to be a problem with you and Gus.” “That’s because Gus is like his father. He doesn’t lie. He might try to evade the truth on occasion, but he knows that I know so it’s more a game than an evasion.” “That’s what you think of me, that I’m honest?” “You are painfully honest. I’m sure it rubs your friends the wrong way upon occasion. And I know that rather than lie you don’t say things out loud once in awhile. But everyone does that. Which I suppose could be called a lie. But it can’t happen with me. I’d know. I’m on to you Mr. Kinney.” Justin grinned. “There now you know my dirty little secret. I know you aren’t afraid of it and that in itself is rather mystifying to me.” “Why would I be afraid of it?” Brian asked. “It might irritate me, but fear, I don’t think so.” “I guess any relationship we might develop will be decided by just how much you like to be irritated.” Justin grinned and his grin lit up the room. Brian grinned back thinking how contagious that wide smile was and then laughed out loud when Justin winked at him, obviously having read his thought. “Hey Dad” it was Gus standing at the door of the solarium. “Do you want to see my rooms? They’re really neat.” “You go and check out the rest of the house with Gus. I’m going to finish up dinner. I know that Gus and his friends can only spend a limited amount of time without eating.” He smiled at the boy who rolled his eyes heavenward. “I’d like that Gus. I’ve always wanted to see inside a round tower room. When I was a kid I used to imagine that my room was like that. I read a lot of books like Robin Hood. “ Brian turned to Justin. “I had a wild fantasy life, what can I say.” “I’m sure you did.” Justin couldn’t help but reach up and kiss Brian’s cheek. “Have fun and Gus no more snacking, dinner will be ready in half an hour.” “Yes J Dad” Gus winked at this father. “He’s a mean old dad sometimes.” “I can see that.” Brian’s eyes twinkled and he followed his son out of the solarium/studio. Justin watched the two Kinney’s disappear into the house. He sighed, it felt so good having Brian here in his home. It felt right somehow. He would love to develop the feelings that he had inside him, but it wasn’t safe to do so. There were so many variables in loving someone despite what he’d told Gus. It was times like this when he almost wished he could see into the future. He’d love to know what life held for him and Brian. Justin shrugged and started for the kitchen to finish up dinner. This evening should prove interesting. Brian Kinney was a man filled with love and passion despite what he tried to portray. Dinner proved to be more amusing than Justin had ever imagined. Gus and his friends chattered happily about school and their extra curricular interests. And while they were doing that, the two men who were answering their questions and adding input into the conversation, were also talking without saying a word. Justin had been startled enough to drop his fork when Brian began their almost one sided, but not quite mental conversation. It wasn’t really a telepathic kind of thing, because neither were telepaths, but it was darn close. “Your hair reminds me of corn silk. I would love to run my fingers through it.” It was here that Justin dropped his fork with a clatter that didn’t interrupt the young people but was answered by a tongue in cheek smile from Brian. “I printed out that picture as you know. Did you know I keep it in the top drawer of my desk and look into your beautiful blue eyes for answers of what is happening to our lives?” Justin, his meal forgotten, looked into Brian’s eyes that tonight were green and gold flecked. He smiled shyly, not expecting this rather clear connection to Brian’s mind. It was almost as if he was deliberately talking to him this way. “I have to wonder at just how much you fill my mind these days. Are you projecting your thoughts, or are you some kind of a witch that has me captive while you work your way into my heart and my life.” Justin’s answering grin spoke volumes to Brian and this time the other man flushed. He hadn’t meant to reveal just how much Justin was beginning to matter to him. Justin reached under the table and stroked Brian’s leg. “You’re making me hard Sunshine.” Brian thought and Justin’s hand hit the table with a thump as he pulled it back. You’d have thought Brian’s leg was on fire. “Sunshine?” Justin mouthed at Brian. “So you do read minds” Brian arched on eyebrow. “Don’t play with fire” Brian looked down at his leg. “Or you’ll get burned.” Justin flushed and turned to Gus and his friends, ignoring Brian as best he could while he talked about an upcoming school event. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Later, sitting in the living room with a glass of wine, Brian and Justin both stared into the glowing embers of the fireplace. Neither one spoke and both studiously tried to stay out of the other’s mind. It was a companionable silence, yet a silence filled with emotion. Emotions that they weren’t ready to accept let alone share, so they sat and stared and sipped the ruby red wine admiring the glint of it in the fire light. “You guys are kind of boring.” Gus offered as he came into the room after saying goodnight to his friends. He sat cross legged in front of the fireplace, joining the adults in contemplating the fire. “I suppose we are to a seventeen year old.” Justin said. “But I’m rather enjoying myself. It’s been awhile since I’ve had the company of such a handsome man like your Dad.” “Geeze” Gus said and humphed a laugh. “Sue-Ann thought you were cute Dad.” “Ahh, but what about Mark?” Brian faked a leer. “You’re waaaay too old for him and besides he likes girls.” Gus shrugged. “He’s pretty hot in his speedo though.” “I imagine he would be. Maybe that’s why Justin hangs out at the swim practice.” “Asshole.” Justin muttered. “Ewwwwuuuuee, that’s just gross Dad.” “It is kind of isn’t it?” Brian agreed. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The sexual tension between Brian and Justin was high, though Gus didn’t appear to notice anything. Brian began to wonder if staying at the house was such a good idea, despite Gus being thrilled to have him. And then Justin stood up. He looked at both Kinney men and smiled. “Brian, no matter what, I’m happy that you’re here with Gus and I for Thanksgiving. You won’t regret the time, I promise you. I’m going to work in my studio for an hour or so before bed. Gus will entertain you.” “You don’t have to disappear.” Brian said. “No, I have to finish up the painting I’m working on. It’s for a show and I’ve made myself a schedule to follow.” “Maybe we could go to a club tomorrow night?” Brian offered. “Cool I’d like that.” Gus answered. “Not you Sonny Boy, Justin and I.” “Dad, I’ve got fake ID and I look older than seventeen. I’ve never been to a club here in Oklahoma.” “I hope you haven’t been to one anywhere else either.” Gus ducked his head, not answering. “We could go to Rush.” Justin offered. “Gus, if you promise not to pick up too many guys and drink yourself silly, your father and I will take you. If that’s all right with you Brian.” “Afraid to be alone with me Sunshine?” Brian said with his mind. He was pleased to see Justin flush. “Sure Gus, you can come with the old men.” Brian’s voice was teasing. “What about Mark, can he come too?” “Sorry Sonny Boy, corrupting the morals of one young boy is enough for me. You’ll have to wait until Mark is legal for me to take him.” Brian ruffled his son’s hair knowing how much Gus hated it. It was a fatherly thing. “Later guys,” Justin said as he disappeared in the direction of his studio. “He really does have to finish the paintings dad. The show is a big one for a gallery in New York. He’s had others there, but none of them this size. I get to go with him to New York which is pretty cool.” “You’ve been to New York before.” Brian drawled. “But never with J, he has a whole list of places for us to see. It’s going to be awesome. And I’m meeting with a manufacturer for the possibility of selling one of the games I’ve developed. J set it up for me.” “When is this trip to New York? You should let your mother’s know. Maybe we all could get together.” “It’s after the new year. But J said I have to go visit mom and momma at Christmas. He said that it’s important for all of us not to enter the New Year the way we have been acting. I think he meant the way I’ve been acting.” “I’d have to agree.” Brian said and poured himself another glass of wine from the bottle on the coffee table. “What is J doing while you’re visiting your mothers?” “He said he was going to work on the paintings. He’s keeping Harry here for me so they don’t get pissed.” “So he’s going to be alone?” “No, J’ll have Harry.” Gus stood up. “I’m going to check my emails and take Harry for a walk before bed. See you in the morning Dad.” “Goodnight Gus.” Brian smiled at his son who stood there in the light looking so grown up and mature. Where had the time gone Brian wondered? He could see Linds in the set of the boy’s head, but he could also see himself. Only it was the self he’d always wanted to be when he was Gus’ age. One filled with confidence and self-assurance, one that knew he was loved and most of all wasn’t afraid to love back. Brian had to wonder if Gus knew just how lucky he was. Brian showered and stretched out on the bed that had been assigned to him. He kept the light on so that he could look at the paintings on the walls and appreciate the décor. Finally realizing he was never going to sleep and Gus’ story about Christmas swirling in his mind, he got back up slipping on a pair of comfortable jeans. Justin knew the instant Brian had decided to come and see him in the studio. He was just cleaning his brushes. He was tired; it had been a long day. “Hey Brian” Justin said when the other man stood in the door of his studio. “I’m ready for bed.” “It’s been a long day.” Brian admitted. “And somewhat emotionally draining” “Yes, I suppose it has.” “Justin, Gus tells me you’re sending him home for Christmas.” “I strongly suggested he should go.” Justin smiled. “With a young man like Gus, telling him to do something is counterproductive to your goal.” “Of course you know that he’s decided to go.” Brian looked at the painting Justin had just finished. He made a note to see if he could buy it at the gallery showing. “It’s yours if you want it.” Justin said coming up behind Brian. “I’ll put it in the show with a reserved sign on it.” He wanted to put his hand on the small of Brian’s back grounding the other man who was filled with emotion at looking at the picture of himself, Gus and Harry. Taking a chance Justin did just that. His hand touched Brian’s back and Brian leaned into the touch accepting the comfort offered. “Thanks” Brian accepted the gift. He rarely accepted gifts, but from Justin it was the right thing to do. “Brian, you know how I said I don’t have indiscriminate sex?” Justin ventured, his voice quiet. “I remember that speech. I got it from both you and Gus.” Brian had turned and looked down into Justin’s eyes. “Are you going to remind me in case I didn’t believe you?” “No, I was going to suggest that maybe I could make an exception.” “I wouldn’t want you to compromise your beliefs” Brian traced the shape of Justin’s face with the back of his hand. A soft caress that had them both smiling. “You wouldn’t be. I believe that you and I will be seeing more of each other.” “I don’t do anyone more than once.” Brian’s voice was seductive and made a lie of his words as he looked at Justin. “Hmmmm, we’ll see about that. It’s going to be a long week and your bed is pretty big. Of course you could have Harry sleep with you.” Now it was Justin’s turn to smooth Brian’s hair from his forehead. “I don’t sleep with anyone.” Brian whispered. “I predict that will change.” Justin leaned up to claim Brian’s lips. “Mind reading again Sunshine?” Brian thought. “No(,) promising.” Justin answered as he turned out the light in the studio and led Brian by one hand to his bedroom. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The room was dark, the silky softness of the fine Egyptian cotton sheets, was cool against hot skin. When were our clothes taken off? Who cares as long as they’re off? Lips, soft and full, warm wet tongue, reaching, searching. The night air a soft charcoal blanket. Finger tips skimming, memorizing each dip and curve of a body hard and fit, learning to touch those special spots that bring breath to a panting sound in the mystery of the night. Tasting, nibbles that pull and tease skin that’s on fire with need. Words whispered, murmured, filled with nonsense promises of love and teasing insights to the man who whispered them and the one who replied in kind. Snuffling of breath deeply inhaled savoring warm clean musk at the base of hard urgency. There was no right or wrong or up or down. No top or bottom but rather two men who became one in the dark of the night. The only sounds the tear of the condom package, the snick of the lube top, the sharp intake of breath when cold wet lube touched fevered skin. The desperate demanding delicious thrust that impaled with a hiss that hinted of pleasure/pain. Hands caressing, legs lifted, balls hitting, two minds shouting silent shouts of pleasure until wave after wave after wave of orgasmic pleasure washed the room with a brilliance of a thousand roman candles. Soft hitching breaths as each man struggled to regain a modicum of composure and then the dance began again. The last of the fireworks fizzled but ready to once again light the room. This time the dance was slow, a waltz of precision, for fingers and lips knew where to touch and kiss. The room filled with the aroma of sweat and cum all mixed with the song of lovemaking the likes of which neither man had felt before. And both men realized would only ever feel with each other. Finally, damp with sweat and sticky with cum, arms and legs tangled so that only the tones of their skin, should there have been any light in the room, distinguished where one began and the other started, they fell asleep. It was a dreamless sleep of contentment. Soft breathing and rhythmic heartbeats lulling them. “Geeze didn’t take you guys long.” Gus stood in the door to the bedroom gazing at his two favorite men. “So much for all the rules you guys set.” “Gus?” Brian opened one eye and closed it again. His arm tightening around Justin keeping him close. “Gus?” Justin said not bothering to look. “Go away and play.” He said with a laugh. “I just wanted to tell you that it’s almost ten in the morning. I couldn’t wait any longer for breakfast and Mark and Sue-Ann and I are going to the mall. Mark’s mom is driving us.” “Do you need any money Sonny Boy?” Brian asked. “Dad, I explained to you that I have my own.” Gus said patiently. “We won’t be back until late if that’s okay. We’re going to be there all day and then watch a movie. Can you guys pick us up?” “Call when you’re ready.” Justin said. “Have fun dads, but then I guess I don’t have to tell you that.” Gus pealed with laughter as he walked down the hall heading for the door outside. “Busted.” Justin said and buried his nose in Brian’s neck. “Hmmmm” Brian all but purred as Justin began to nibble on his neck adding the odd kiss to his ministrations. “We need to shower.” “We do kind of reek. Do you think Gus knew what we’d been doing?” “He probably thought that you are being the ultimate host and making sure I was safe and sound in bed.” “Not that we’d been fucking like bunnies, more than once I might add.” “Maybe the rule wasn’t that clearly laid out.” “No, it could mean only one guy per week.” Justin smiled. “I mean we do have a whole week.” “You are pretty smart.” Brian lifted Justin’s chin and kissed him. Soon they were lost once again in each other. Full bladders and an empty stomach drove them out of bed an hour later. “Brian, I smell coffee.” Justin commented as he pulled on a pair of sweats. “Amazing.” Brian kissed him on the nose. “You used one of your other senses.” Justin grinned up at him. “You really are comfortable with my ESP aren’t you?” “Why shouldn’t I be? It’s not like I mind you knowing what I’m up to. I imagine it might get annoying once in awhile. But it sure will stop me from keeping things inside. It’s one of my bad habits. It’ll still happen, but you’ll know. The trick is if you’ll know when to comment and when not to comment.” “I guess I could learn.” Justin said. “Like now. Now I know that you need to stop talking and have a shower. We could share the water.” “We could.” Brian pulled Justin into his arms and backed toward the bathroom. “The coffee will wait.” “It was Gus you know, who made the coffee. He put it on a timer for us.” “Of course it was. He is my kid after all.” Brian smirked slightly before his lips descended to meet those that were swollen with passion. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
