Texas Nights 7 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ “Good morning Taylor.” Jenny said as she breezed into Justin’s room. “The sun is actually shining today for once.” “Hi Jenny” Justin said. He sat in the comfortable green armchair looking out the window. “I actually made it over to the chair without hanging on to anything.” “Well good for you sweetie. Didn’t I tell you that you’d be your old self in no time at all?” She busied herself tidying up his bed. “Why can’t I remember anything?” Justin asked. The kind hearted nurse could have cried at the sound of his voice. “Taylor, like everything, it takes time. The mind is complex and you had a blow to the head.” “But what about my shoulder and my arm? Look at the scars, what caused them?” “I don’t know, part of your file was missing when you were checked in.” She picked up the pieces of paper that he’d left on the side table by his bed. “I see you’ve drawn this dream boat again.” She studied the pen and ink drawing. “Can you tell me about him?” “I don’t know why, but every time I start to draw, I draw him.” Justin admitted. “It’s like he’s trying to tell me something. I wish I had colors, I know his eyes are hazel and flecked with green and gold. I know he has the most amazing smile and I know he loves me.” He looked at her, anguish in his eyes. “But why, if he loves me, am I here? Where is he? Who is he?” “I wish I had the answers pet, I really do.” She looked around as if sure someone else might be in the room. “Taylor, do me a favor, don’t take any medication that Dr. Black gives you. Can you just pretend to take it?” “Why?” Justin asked. “I can’t explain it. I heard him talking to someone on the phone yesterday and it made me uneasy. I know this isn’t very professional of me, but I don’t want anything to happen to you and sometimes Dr. Black, well let’s just say he has his own agenda with the patients here.” “I won’t take anything. I don’t like the way the pills make me feel anyway.” Justin admitted. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Brian looked out the window of the large plane seeing only clouds. He was unable to relax even though there was nothing he could do other than sit for the next five hours as the plane made its way to Seattle. He patted his suit coat pocket again making sure that he had a copy of his marriage license as well as a copy of the power of attorney that he and Justin had exchanged. He wasn’t going to take any chance that if Justin really was alive, some bozo would think that Craig Taylor had any authority over Justin. He resisted the urge to look at the photo of him and Justin at their wedding. Debbie had snapped the picture of them exchanging their vows and it was one of his favorites. Brian forced himself to lie back in the plush first class seat and shut his eyes. Since Gus’ revelation of his dreams and then Molly’s news about what she’d heard, Brian hadn’t slept; his mind was in turmoil. Vic’s call later that day telling him that a Dr. Black had signed the death certificate hadn’t helped his peace of mind because it was Black’s clinic near Seattle that he was traveling to. “Jai, I love you, Jai, I’m coming,” kept running through his thoughts like a mantra giving him the strength to go on despite his lack of sleep. Brian must have dozed because he was surprised to hear the Captain of the jet liner announce they were descending and preparing to land. He sat up. He could almost feel Jai’s presence though he knew it was nonsense; the feeling still gave him some comfort. Brian rented the largest and most powerful car he could. He didn’t know what condition Jai was in, but he was taking him away regardless. Studying the map he’d printed out from the computer, it didn’t take him long to make his way out of the city. Like a homing beacon fixed on his husband, Brian made no wrong moves but went directly to the large iron gates that were across the drive leading to Black’s Clinic. He parked to one side looking at the imposing gates, when another car went by him and obviously triggering an electronic opener, passed through the opening gates. Brian didn’t hesitate; he followed the other car only being inside by inches before the gates clanged shut again. He parked at the front entrance and walked inside. A young woman sat at a reception desk. “Excuse me; I would like to see a patient you have here. His name is Justin Taylor-Kinney, or he could be using Jai Tee or just plain Justin Taylor.” “I’m sorry sir there is no one by any of those names here as a patient.” Brian pulled out a series of photos he had with him, “this is Jai, do you have anyone here who looks like this?” The woman barely glanced at the picture. “No sir, no one like that.” “Look at the picture damn it. Jai is my husband and he’s fucking missing.” Brian shoved the pictures back at her. “I’m going to ask you to leave now before I call security.” The woman said, though she backed away from her desk, trying to move further from the infuriated man standing there. Brian looked helplessly through the small windows in the doors that obviously led into the interior of the private clinic. He wasn’t sure what he could do, so he turned and walked out to his car. He had reached the car and was about to open the door when a nurse ran up to him breathless. She had apparently left the building through a side door. “Sir, can I see the pictures?” She asked. Brian held them out to her wordlessly. “It’s Taylor, Taylor Kinney” she said. “That’s his last name, his name is Justin Taylor-Kinney, I call him Jai, and he’s my husband.” “He doesn’t have his memory. It’s coming back slowly.” She looked at him. “I recognized you right away. He draws your face all the time.” She blushed. “And other parts of you.” “That sounds like my Jai.” Brian said and the joy could be heard in his voice. “Follow me; I’ll take you to him.” She turned and hurried down a side path, Brian’s long strides quickly caught up with her. “Through this door.” They were no sooner through the door when they could hear shouts from one of the rooms. “Stay away from me.” It was Jai’s voice. “Help, Jenny, help me.” Brian burst through the door of Jai’s room. A man in a suit, a hypodermic needle in his hand was attempting to inject Justin. Brian grabbed the man’s arm and threw him across the room. “Leave him the fuck alone.” Brian roared. He turned to Jai and gathered him into his arms, holding him tight. Justin began to sob and so did Brian, both of them clutching each other terrified to let go in case it was a dream. “Who are you and why are interfering with my patient’s care.” Dr. Black approached the two men, boldly trying to bluff his way out of the tight situation. Brian looked at him. “Fuck off asshole. Jai is leaving here now.” “I’m sorry but I can’t allow that.” “Tough shit, I’m taking Jai with me. You can bet your bottom dollar that you haven’t heard the last of this Dr. Black. I assume that’s who you are. There’s the little matter of a forged death certificate among other things that I’m sure the police will be discussing with you soon. Blanching, Dr. Black turned and left the room. “Jai, Jenny says you don’t remember things.” Brian still held Justin close. “I don’t, but I remember you, I love you and you love me.” Jai looked into the hazel eyes filled with love and tears. “You’re Brian.” Brian beamed at him. “Brian Taylor-Kinney, husband of Justin Taylor-Kinney, that’s me,” He kissed Justin’s forehead, “and you.” He looked around the room. “Is there anything here you want to bring with you?” he asked. “No, I’ve got everything I need right here in my hands.” Justin said and he looked down at their hands that were linked.” “We’ll work on getting your memory back and building new memories.” Brian said. He looked at Jenny. “I’m sorry about your job Jenny; you’ve been a good friend to Jai.” “I’ll still have my job here; after all I know a few of Dr. B’s skeletons. He can’t get rid of me.” She smiled at Brian and Justin. “Someone has to look after the patients.” “Jai, can you walk with me to the car?” Brian asked. “I can walk, but not good.” He smiled up at Brian. “Jai, the name seems right somehow, but so did Taylor-Kinney.” He stood up with Brian’s help. “Who is Gus, I keep dreaming about a Gus, he kind of looks like you only younger.” “Gus is my son, our son, he thinks of you as another father.” Brian’s voice caught with emotion. “He needs to talk to you as soon as you can.” “Just get me out of here first. I’ll talk to him as soon as I’m out of here.” Jai leaned into Brian and together they slowly made their way down the long hallway to the front entrance where the car was parked. “Where are we going?” Jai asked. They had just cleared the gates that had opened as the car approached. Something Brian was grateful for as he wasn’t sure the car he was driving or Jai for that matter would be able to take his ramming the gates. “First I’d like you examined by a doctor who didn’t get his degree by mail order. And then I’m going to take you someplace special for a few days. Maybe you’ll remember everything. But even if you don’t Jai, I just want you safe and happy.” “I’m safe and happy with you Brian. You make me feel safe.” “Well safe is good; I’d like you to feel a few other things though.” Brian teased. “I remember this, I remember you teasing me.” Justin put his hand on Brian’s thigh as the big car purred along the narrow highway. “Not what you did or said, but the feeling of being gently teased by you, the feeling that I was loved by you.” “I love you Jai, I have from the moment I first met you.” “Did I love you too?” he looked out over the green fields they were passing. “I know I loved you, but I mean from the first.” “I think so.” Brian’s voice was tinged with nostalgia. “I think you did.” Justin leaned back in the seat and shut his eyes, his head ached a bit and he was feeling overwhelmed by sensations and bits and pieces of memories real or imagined. It was almost more than he could bear. He didn’t want to say anything to his rescuer. Brian had too much pain in his eyes when he’d first seen him. He found it hard to believe that what ever had happened, someone had hidden him away from his husband. Justin’s heart ached for Brian. Brian drove down the highway, content to let Justin sit quietly. There would be time enough to talk later. The first order of business was to get Justin looked at and then check the two of them into a hotel until Melanie could have Justin’s ID sent by courier as they couldn’t fly anywhere without it. “Jai, I’m going to pull into the next rest stop and call our lawyer and friend Melanie Markus. I need the name and address of a doctor here in Seattle.” “She’s one of Gus’ moms isn’t she?” “Yes she is, your memory is starting to come back.” Brian looked pleased. “Things pop into my head for no reason. When you said her name I remembered that she is one of Gus’ moms.” Brian had pulled into a rest stop. He punched in Melanie’s number. “Hey Melanie, Jai is alive and well and sitting beside me. Can you let the rest of the gang know please?” “Was it what we thought?” she asked. “It was, we’ll deal with it later.” Brian looked at Justin. “Jai needs his ID, can you gather it up and get it to us by overnight courier if possible. We’ll stay at the Four Seasons in Seattle. Get someone to book us a suite. I need the name of a reliable doctor to check Jai out, I kind of sprung him and I want to make sure it was alright.” Justin giggled. “A little late now.” He murmured. “I’ll get back to you about the hotel and the doctor Brian. Are you sure you should have taken Jai out of the hospital?” “Out of that one, yes, and I’ll tell you right now, he isn’t going back to any hospital without me being there the whole time.” “Kinney protective mode I see.” Melanie laughed. “I guess I’d feel the same way.” “I’m going to call Gus now. I promised him I’d let him know as soon as I could.” “Good because he’s been carrying around his ‘secret phone’ ever since you left, he even took it into the bathroom when he had a bath.” Brian laughed. “Well, it’s Jai’s phone, it made Gus feel better to have it.” “I don’t want a seven year old with a cell phone; make sure he understands it goes back to Jai.” Melanie said sternly. “Yes ma’m, no cell phone for seven year olds.” He hung up smiling. Justin had been watching Brian’s face as he talked on the phone. The man’s face showed a myriad of emotions as he talked and Justin’s fingers itched to capture the looks on paper. “I’d like to call Gus now Brian.” Justin said. Brian handed him his phone. “Gus has your cell phone, so you can hit” his voice trailed off, for Justin had already hit number two. “One is the ranch and two is the cell, isn’t that right?” Justin said. “Hello?” a young voice said. “Hey Gus, it’s Jai calling you,” “Jai, Jai, it’s really and truly you?” “Yes Gus, it’s really me. Your daddy will bring me to you as soon as he can.” “Jai, I’m sorry I made the snake bite you. I didn’t mean to make you die.” Justin felt his mind and body go cold at the mention of the snake. The scars he had on his shoulder and arm now made sense and he could feel the feeling of terror he’d had that the snake would bite Gus. “Gus, you had no control over what the snake did. I didn’t die, some bad person just pretended I died and your daddy and I will deal with that person.” Justin sighed, he was using up all his internal strength, and he could feel his mind starting to fade into sleep. “Gus, I love you and I will be there in a few days.” He let the phone fall and Brian picked it up, concern in his eyes. He could see that Jai had fallen asleep, so he didn’t panic though his heart rate was triple what it had been. “Gus, Jai is sleeping now. I’ll call you again. Make sure the phone is closed.” “Bye daddy, I love you. Tell Jai I love him too.” “I will Gus, I love you too.” Brian hung up the phone before pulling Justin close to him. He sat staring at the trees and grass around the rest stop as he held the man he loved. They had been sitting there for almost half an hour. Justin sleeping peacefully in Brian’s arms and Brian alert though tired. He knew he wouldn’t rest until Justin had been examined by a doctor and they were finally alone in an anonymous hotel room. Brian’s cell phone rang waking Justin. “Hey Mel.” Brian said. “You have an appointment with a Dr. Jenkins at his office at in Seattle General. Go to the south wing and follow the signs. He’ll wait for you, his day is almost over and I told him you weren’t far away. I’ve reserved a suite at the Four Seasons for tonight with the possibility of longer depending on what happens. Jai’s ID is on its way to the Four Seasons.” She ran out of breath. “Great Mel, I owe you big time.” Brian smiled at his husband. “We’ll get back to you some time tomorrow.” “I know you want some time with Jai, but once the press gets wind of this you two are going to be on their hit list.” “I know, I’ll explain the situation to Jai.” Brian sighed. “Thanks again Mel.” He hung up the phone. “We have an appointment with a Dr. Jenkins as soon as we can get there and then its relaxation time at the Four Seasons.” “I need some clothes.” Justin said. He looked down at his hospital issue scrub pants and tee shirt. “I do too. I didn’t take the time to pack once I heard that you could be alive. We’ll have fun shopping.” “You like that don’t you, shopping I mean.” Justin smiled. “I remember you have far too many designer suits.” “There’s no such thing as too many, Jai.” Brian laughed. He put the car in gear and began to drive. “We have a date with a Doctor. I hope he’s quick because I am ready to fall asleep sitting up.” Justin tried to sit still as they drove, but he was getting more and more anxious the closer they got to the doctor’s office. He was ready to vomit by the time he realized it was in a hospital. Brian pulled into the hospital parking lot. He looked over at Justin and realized that his husband had worked himself up into a full blown panic attack that he was valiantly trying to contain himself. “Jai,” Brian said and he slid over wrapping Justin in his arms. “Calm down, take deep breaths, I won’t leave you alone for one single minute in there and I guarantee you that you will be coming to the hotel with me when we’re done. I just want to make sure that physically you are okay. You were in a coma and I don’t know what other effects you may still be suffering from with the snake bites.” Brian rubbed Justin’s back until he felt the blonde relax in his arms. “Brian, I don’t know if I can do this.” He hesitated. “I think I said that to you once before.” “You did.” Brian smoothed back the blond hair. “And we made it through, we’ll do it again, because it isn’t just you, it’s the both of us. We’re partners remember?” Justin seemed to melt into Brian’s side. “I remember you calling me your partner. I remember I wanted to be your partner so badly.” “You are my partner, you’re my husband.” Brian turned Justin’s face to his. He leaned in and let his lips caress Justin’s in just the barest of gentle kisses. “Let’s go in there together and get this over with. Okay?” Justin nodded his agreement and didn’t hesitate when Brian opened the door to help him from the car. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Brian stayed in the examining room with Justin and the doctor. “I would like to admit you for additional tests Mr. Taylor.” The doctor began. “Brian” Justin turned to Brian in a panic. “Will he die if he doesn’t have these tests?” Brian asked lazily. “Well no, but they will help me treat him.” “Treat him for what?” “Why, why for” the doctor spluttered. “My point exactly.” Brian said and he stood up. “Get your clothes on Jai; we’re going to the hotel. Thank you for seeing him on such short notice. I know Jai isn’t at the peak of what he should be, but that will take time. I’m not planning on having him run a marathon any time soon.” “Thank you doctor.” Jai said as he slipped his hand into Brian’s. “I know I’m being kind of a wuss, and I apologize. But with everything that’s happened to me – I’m not comfortable here in the hospital. Brian will look after me, he always has, I just know it. If I have any problems he’ll bring me back.” “I understand Mr. Taylor.” The doctor looked at his prescription pad. “I don’t feel comfortable prescribing anything for your anxiety. I do feel that time will heal that along with everything else, time and your partner’s care.” He smiled at them both. “It was nice to meet you both.” ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The suite at the Four Seasons was wonderful. There were two bedrooms. Brian hesitated for a moment and then said, “Jai, I know you don’t really feel that you know me, I won’t be hurt if you want your own bed.” His hand traced the contours of Justin’s face as he looked longingly at his husband, Brian’s eyes making a lie out of his statement. “Brian, come to bed. We’re both tired.” Justin said. He led his husband to the largest bedroom and then pulled back the spread. “We’ll deal with life when we’ve both slept and I know that I couldn’t sleep without you at my side.” Justin stood his eyes on Brian as he stripped his clothing off. Still not breaking eye contact he climbed into the wide bed, his head cradled on the soft pillow and waited for his husband to join him. Brian removed his own clothes and slipped beneath the blankets and sheets and was about to say something when Justin moved over and in the familiar way that Brian had never thought he’d feel again, Justin wrapped himself over Brian, sighing once and then falling asleep. Brian lay on his back, his eyes shut, and letting his over tired senses process what he was experiencing. He could feel Justin’s soft skin, warm to the touch. He could smell the almost medicinal smell of whatever shampoo he’d used, and the harshness of the hospital soap, but underlying that was the smell of Justin, the smell of the man he loved. An aphrodisiac like none other was the last thought he had before falling asleep. 3 hours later Justin opened his eyes – the room was filled with dark shadows, the only illumination came from what city light made its way past the heavy draperies in the bedroom. Disoriented at first, Justin realized he was breathing in rhythm with the man he held onto. Brian, it was Brian in his arms. Brian had found him and rescued him. Brian loved him and suddenly his past came flooding back in wave after wave of memories, some bad, but most of them good ones. He clutched Brian tighter, afraid to let go, lest he be swirled away on the waves until finally the pictures in his mind settled down and he began to silently cry for what his husband must have had to endure since that fateful day at the ranch. “Hey, Jai, what’s wrong.” Brian’s voice was sleepy. He turned and moved his arm so that Justin’s head lay on his chest as he cried. Justin shook his head, he couldn’t speak, and then. “Brian, I’m so sorry that you had to think I was dead. When I find out who is responsible for this, I don’t know what I’m going to do, but it won’t be good.” “Don’t worry about me. I just want you back to your normal sunshine self.” Brian said his hand rubbing Justin’s shoulder and back. “I am back, I remember everything, well except when I was in a coma.” Justin sobbed. “Well, you seem to be your rainy self, now let’s see some sunshine.” Brian teased. “You know how I hate it when you get tears and snot all over me.” “Asshole.” “Hmmm, you are back.” Brian couldn’t help but beam. He reached his long arm over to the table beside the bed and pulled a few tissues from the box there and handed them to Justin. Justin took them gratefully and wiped his eyes and blew his nose. Brian kissed him gently and then said. “I never thought I’d say this, but I don’t have any condoms or lube with me. Since you were gone, I’ve just not been in the mood and I’ve gotten out of the habit of carrying them.” Justin laughed. “Well I sure don’t have any. Can we go shopping soon?” “Sooner than you think Jai,” I’m calling the closest pharmacy. I’m sure if I pay them enough they’ll deliver.” “I’m starving; can you call for food too?” “Ha, ha, ha, you are back.” Brian kissed him again. “I’m not letting you out of my sight Brat.” “Good, because that’s where I want to be.” Justin snuggled lower; he began to suckle on Brian’s nipple causing the older man to draw in his breath sharply. He teased the small bud with his teeth before moving lower until finally he’d reached his goal, his firm wet tongue flicked the end of Brian’s sensitive cock head, tasting the sticky precum, before letting his mouth descend as he sucked the tumescent cock deep into his throat. He smiled as he sucked because it had only taken the barest of moments before Brian was shooting his cum down his throat. “Fuck you’d think I was fourteen” Brian said when he could speak. “That’s okay; I told you I was hungry.” Justin moved back up to capture Brian’s lips in his and soon they were lost in a kiss that seemed to go on forever. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The sun was streaming in through the open draperies when Brian next woke up. The sheets were still warm from Justin’s body, but he wasn’t in bed. A moment of panic flashed through Brian and then he heard Justin’s voice on the phone in the other room. “That’s right, give us each three choices, we’ll pick out what we want and then go into the store for the rest.” He paused. “Yes it is unfortunate our luggage was lost, but what can you do these days.” Another pause, “thank you; I’ll be expecting to see someone from your store within the hour.” Brian heard him hang up the phone and then dial again. “Hey Gus, it’s Jai I wanted to phone and say good morning before you head to school.” He listened. “Daddy is a sleepy daddy today, he’ll call you later after school.” Pause. “Yes you can keep my phone for the call. Tell your mommies I said it was okay, but I’ll want it back, so take good care of it.” Pause “Maybe when you’re a few years older I’ll buy you one. I think seven is just a bit young.” Pause. “No, I’m all better, I’ll show you where his teeth chomped me, it’s really cool.” Pause “Your daddy did that? Just like in the movies? Well I’ll have to give him a big kiss ‘cause that’s pretty gross.” He heard Justin giggle. “Gross, gross, gross.” “I love you bunches Gus. Later.” He hung up the phone. The next call “Room Service – I ordered breakfast almost an hour ago. Where is it? Fine, I’ll be waiting.” Justin got up and walked into the bedroom. Brian lay there grinning at him. “You’re pretty bossy today.” He said. “For once I don’t have a headache, I can actually walk, no fucking snakes are in the room and I am still mellow from fucking you into the mattress.” Justin grinned back at him as he pounced on the bed. “You wouldn’t consider an encore would you?” He let himself straddle Brian’s chest, he pinned the older man’s hands over his head and began to devour the willing mouth beneath him. “We have lost time to make up for.” “You do want me to be able to sit down today don’t you?” Brian asked. “Because let me tell you, three times in a row is kind of my world record for being a bottom.” “Well there you go, we learn something new about each other every time we’re together.” Justin rolled off of Brian and laying down beside him he pulled a willing Brian into his embrace, the taller man scrunched down so that he could put his head on Justin’s chest and let Justin hold him. “Besides Brian, it does you good to let me make love to you. It keeps you humble.” “Humble my ass, no pun intended.” Brian grumbled into Justin’s chest. “Let’s go back to the Empress for a couple of days when your ID gets here. I’d like to have our honeymoon again.” And he said shyly. “I’d like to renew our wedding vows, just you and I at the gardens.” “I’d like that too Brian, but it’s late in the year, will they be open?” “Yes they will, we could always sneak in if they weren’t.” Brian looked thoughtful, like sneaking in wouldn’t be such a bad idea. Justin laughed at the look on Brian’s face. “You remind me of Gus” There was a knock on the door. “Food at last” he said. “One can’t live on love alone, no matter how sweet you taste.” “You’re leaving me for food.” Brian joked. But he sat up in the bed to allow Justin to move to the door. By the time Brian appeared from the bathroom, Justin had a table in the sitting area of their suite all set. “I wasn’t sure what to get you, so I got a little bit of everything.” Justin began to take the lids off the various serving dishes. “Jai, there’s only the two of us,” Brian looked with horror at the full plates of bacon, eggs, toast, pancakes, fresh fruit, bagels, cream cheese, jam and peanut butter. There were three different kinds of syrup and a bowl of whipped butter and another of whipped cream and wonder of all wonders a large thermos of coffee. Brian sat on one of the easy chairs. He pulled the table closer and then patted his knee. “Come and sit down, we’ll share.” Justin laughed, but sat on his knee. “This isn’t going to be too comfy Brian.” “I don’t care, I want you close.” Justin was busy with his plate of eggs and bacon. “Want a bite?” he offered. “No.” Brian scrunched up his face. He reached over and took a piece of bacon. “Not bad.” He said pronouncing his approval. The next few minutes the two of them spent refueling. Justin hadn’t eaten anything decent in a long time and Brian had no idea how hungry he was now that Justin had been found. The day proved to be a busy one. First the clothing Justin had ordered arrived and then they wandered over to the store it came from, returning what they didn’t want and buying more as well as two pieces of luggage. Justin had to purchase art supplies, because he felt naked without a sketch book or two close by and Brian insisted on buying him a slave bracelet of platinum and yellow gold. He wanted to have it welded on, but Justin convinced him it wasn’t a good plan. Brian then said Justin should be tattooed with his return address just in case he was lost again. Justin once again had to convince him it wasn’t a great idea. Brian looked like he was kidding, but there was an underlying current of seriousness that made Justin think that he may not have been. They reached the hotel by four and Justin’s ID had arrived. It was all Brian needed. He whisked the blond up to their room, insisted that they check out of the hotel and head to the harbor where he chartered a boat to take them to Victoria, British Columbia which wasn’t that far by water. The Customs officers looked at them a bit strangely but didn’t object and soon they were wrapped up in each other’s arms heading toward the lights of Vancouver Island. The weather was considerably cooler than the last time they’d traveled by water to the capital city of British Columbia, but the owner of the small boat was prepared and gave them both down filled jackets to wear when he realized they wouldn’t come into the cabin but wanted instead to sit in front and face their future. It was like the first time all over again for Justin as they slowed their speed for the harbor in front of the Empress Hotel. The lights made the hotel a fairy castle and the strength in the arms around him told him he was loved and safe. This time he was able to walk hand in hand up the steep incline to the street level while the bellboy followed with their luggage. They were able to get the identical room they’d had before, neither of them questioning how the desk clerk knew they were coming or even what room they’d had before. The evening and night was spent eating and making love until they fell asleep in a tangle of bedclothes and each other. Brian held Justin tight, it was almost nine o’clock in the morning and neither one was anxious to get up. “I was sure I could hear Debbie’s screech” Brian said. “I hope it was a bad dream.” “It’s probably the housekeeping ladies; they’re doing the rooms now.” “Did you put the do not disturb sign up?” Brian asked as he traced Justin’s chin with small kisses. “I put two of them up.” Justin sighed with pleasure. “Good.” He began to work his way down further. “Was that the door?” he asked, sitting up a bit. “I hope not.” Justin moaned as Brian stroked his cock. “Daddy, daddy, Jai.” Gus jumped on their bed. “I gots a key for your room all by myself.” “Gus?” Brian and Justin said together. “Gus, where did you get that?” Lindsay exclaimed. She and Mel walked into the bedroom. “Sunshine, is that really you, you’re really not dead.” Debbie was next and she launched herself onto the bed with Brian and Justin, trying to hug them both. “Ma, get out of their bed.” Michael said as he strolled in. “Hi boys.” Emmett said next. “Great to see you back Jai. Good work Brian.” “Jai, you’re looking good.” Vic said following everyone into the bedroom. “I ordered breakfast, I hope you’re hungry. Brian pulled the covers up over his head and Justin’s. “We’ll wait five minutes, maybe it’s a bad dream.” He whispered. Gus stuck his head under the covers. “Silly daddy, I see you.” he kissed Justin “I love you Jai. Can I see the snake’s tooth marks?” Everyone was talking at once. Jai was showing Gus his scars, Debbie was patting Brian on the cheek, Vic was organizing the room service people. Michael and Emmett were checking out Brian and Justin’s new clothes, Lindsay and Mel had retreated to the living room to cuddle. Brian pulled Jai in for a kiss. “Welcome home Jai.” He said.
