Allegheny General Hospital Brian When I decided what field of medicine I wanted to go into, there was no other place I wanted to be. After moving out my home which I’m still shocked that I actually survived but that’s not important when I got my scholarship Boston University I couldn’t pass it up. I was 18 and living in pure hell. I guess, theoretically I could have stayed here since I am now back in Pittsburg but I think that I need to see if I could make it outside of the adopted family that I created. I could and I did. I spent last 8 in Boston working my ass off to become a great doctor. Then came time to figure where I was going to have my residence. I got a few offers stay in Boston but over the last couple years I really started to miss Mikey, Deb and of course Vic so when Allegheny General offered me a spot I was really was leaning towards them to begin with but when I heard that Vic was sick there was nothing left to think about. I knew it. I had to come home. Therefore, here I am about to completely my residence…for the last two months I have been working in Cardiology underneath Dr. Zippo and I am thinking about focusing on Cardio because it is one of the most interesting and not to mention complex organs to study and I think I could use a new challenge. Suddenly there was a knock on the door to interrupt Brian’s thoughts Brian: come in Dr. Zippo: Hello, Brian how is everything going today? Brian: Great Dr. Zippo. Can I help you with anything? Dr. Zippo: yes, Actually there is a patient of mine that has just came out of surgery a little while ago and he should be waking up I need you to go check on him please. I have to be in surgery in 5 minutes. Brian: sure. No problem Dr. Zippo. What is the patients name and what type of surgery did they have? Dr. Zippo smiles at Brian because he has had many eager young doctors but Brian was different. He was always willing to help and he always spoke his mind if he thought you were wrong. Most students did not dare do that but I find it rewarding. I do not find it all disrespectful like some of the others doctors here. Dr. Zippo: His name is Justin Taylor. He is 20 years old and he just had his pacemaker replaced. He is allergic to a lot of different medications I just want to make sure he okay and I need you to do a check to make sure everything is okay. Brian: Sure Dr. Zippo, No problem. I will head down to recovery right now. Dr. Zippo: thank you Brain. Soon after, Dr. Zippo left I went to recovery to find Justin Taylor…Jeez I could not stop thinking about what Dr. Zippo said… Only 20 years old and has a pace maker replacement surgery as I look over his chart I see that this is his fourth surgery. I could not imagine going through this entire not that I pity the kid because pity makes my dick soft but still he has been through hell and back. I walk into the recovery room, I look around, and I see the most beautiful boy I would ever lay my eyes on. He is lying on the bed with the tubes and the heart monitor beeping and all I can see is unblemished pure skin and honey blonde hair. I walk over, I look down at the chart on the bed, and I see his name… Justin Taylor Age: 20 Surgery type: Pacemaker Transplant As I look up at Justin to look at the heart monitor to get his vitals his eyes pop open and I see the purest, crystal blue eyes. I froze and I was not sure what do to do.
