THE DINER

Brian couldn't believe it! Sunshine... his Sunshine... in a plane crash?! He knew that he was pale, he had felt the blood drain from his face. Looking at the others, he could see that they were having the same reactions.

"Jennifer is a mess. She's going to get the next flight she can and come back," said Daphne.

"What about her sister's funeral?" asked Debbie.

"She said that she has to be here and try to find out anything she can about Justin."

They noticed that the diner was silent. A few minutes later, a man stood up. Brian recognized him as Brad Gecko. He was a prety good-sized Bear. "We all heard what the news and you guys were saying. Anything we can do to help J, Deb?" he called out. All of the regulars knew Justin and loved him. He always had a smile for everyone.

"We're going to go to the airport and try to find out exactly what happened. We'll let you know if there's anything y'all can do," said Debbie.

After putting Kiki in charge, Debbie and the others left the diner and headed to Lindsay's and Melanie's. Brian rode with Ben and Michael. Nobody thought that he was in any shape to drive. Brian still hadn't uttered a word, they figured it was from shock. No matter how much he denied it, they all knew that he loved Justin.

A few minutes late, Mealanie opened the front door, to see everyone standing there. "What's going on?" she asked as she saw their distraught faces.

"Lindsay here?" asked Michael.

"LINDSAY!" Melanie called out.

When Lindsay reached them, she had Gus in her arms. "What's going on?" she asked with confusion.

"It's Sunshine! His plane crashed!" Debbie blurted out.

"WHAT?!" exclaimed Melanie and Lindsay.

"He was on his way to Colorado, to his aunt's funeral, earlier. They just reported, on the news, that his plane has crashed." Ben explained.

"We're heading to the airport to find out exactly what happened," added Emmett.

"We'll go with you," said Mealanie. After going to get Vic, they were all headed toward LibertyAir.

WITH JUSTIN

Justin slowly opened his eyes, a moan escaping his mouth. He could feel all of muscels protesting as he slowly sat up. He tried to look around, but it was too dark to see a whole lot.

He could tell that he was several feet away from the crashed airplane. 'I must have been thrown,' he thought. His head was pounding and his left arm felt strange. Gently feeling of it, he could feel that it was hanging at an awkward angle. He could also feel something sharp. "Shit!" he exclaimed as he realized that he bone must have broken though the skin.

Feeling his face thobbing in a few places, he gently touched it with his good hand. Feeling a sicky substance, he knew he was bleeding. Slowly standing up, he started walking toward the airplane. He needed to know if he was the only suvivor or if there were others. Then he, or they, needed to figure out what the hell to do!

WITH BRIAN

As Ben pulled into a parking place, at LibertAir, Brian felt reality sink in. Justin had been in a plane crash and could be dead. He felt saddness, anger, fear. Most of all, he felt helpless. There's was nothing that he could do, except wait to find out what had happened.

He knew that he wouldn't be able to just wait around, he'd have to be doing something. Anything! As the whole gang quickly made their way into the airport, Brian couldn't get Justin's face out of his mind. All he could see was the hurt and anger in Justin's eyes when he had seen his Birthday present from Brian... the hustler. He and Justin had never talked about that. Brian knew that it was his fault. Justin had been waiting for him to make the first move, and Brian couldn't blame him.

Brian had just been too stubborn, had let his damn pride get in the way. He just hadn't wanted to admit that he had been in the wrong about he hustler. He should have known that a hustler wasn't what Jusin would want for his Birhday. But the hustler had seemed like the easiest thing. He didn't do romance. He hadn't wanted to admit to Justin that they were in a relationship. He had wanted to keep the image of Brian Fucking Kinney in tact.

And, now, it could be too late to talk to Justin... to make him understand his place in Brian's life. Because Brian knew, even though he had refused to admit it to anyone, even himself, that he was in love with the blonde. As they rushed upto a service desk, all Brian could do was hope that he got the chance to prove to Justin how much he meant to him.
