Brian slowly cracked open one eye and looked at the clock beside his bed. Eight o' clock. 'Too early to be getting up,' he thought to himself.
He had went out the night before, right after Justin had left. He had thought about going to Babylon, but he hadn't wanted to run into any of the gang. Then, he thought about Woody's, but he just hadn't been in the mood. He had just wanted to loose himself in a quick and nameless fuck. So, he had went to the Baths, where he could get his needs met.
He had fucked and drugged until about three that morning. Now, he felt like shit. At least it was Saturday and he didn't have to go in to work. He sighed and closed his eyes, again. Just then, he felt movement and felt an arm curl around his waist.
He remembered. When he had headed home, he hadn't been alone. He'd brought a guy back, from the Baths, with him. And, he had stayed the night. 'Fuck,' he thought.
Turning onto his left side, he roughly shook the black-headed man awake. He was handsome, but Brian wasn't interested in him anymore. He'd already had him, now he was ready for the trick to leave. But, the trick was proving to be hard to wake up. He couldn't remember his name. Tim... Kevin... who cared?
"Hey! Wake up!" he said as he gave the man a hard push on the shoulder.
The man groggily opened his eyes. 'Finally!' Brian thought as he resisted the urge to roll his eyes.
The man smiled at him. "Ready for another go?" he asked in a husky voice.
"No. I want you to get out."
"What?" the man asked in a confused voice.
"Out. Now."
The man sighed. "Well, can I at least use your shower?"
"What does this look like? The fucking Motel 6? Just get out," replied Brian in a cold voice.
The man quickly got dressed and left, the whole time mumbling about what an asshole Brian was.
As Brian took his morning shower, his thoughts drifted to Justin. He had seen anger, disappointment, and pain in Justin's eyes before he had walked out of the loft. Brian pushed his guilt away and let anger take its place.
What the hell did the twat expect from him? He should've loved his present! "Drama princess...," Brian mumbled as he dried off.
Justin woke up to the smell of bacon frying. Sitting up on Daphne's couch, which had served as his bed for the night, he saw Daphne in her small kitchen.
Walking into the kitchen, he set down at the small round table. "Hey sleepyhead," Daphne teased.
Justin gave her a slight smile. "Morning."
An hour later, they had both eaten and were still sitting at the table. "You feel like telling me what happened last night?" Daphne asked. Justin had showed up at her small apartment, with a duffal bag and tear streaks down his face. He had just asked her if he could stay and had told her that he didn't feel like talking. He had just wanted to go to sleep.
Justin sighed. "I left Brian."
Daphen raised an eyebrow. "You guys are always fighting, then getting back together."
Justin nodded. "I know, but this time is different. I went ho--to the loft last night and he had a hustler in the bed. He was my Biirthday present. A fucking hustler! I don't care if he did look like that model that I like.
"I kicked the hustler out and we had a fight. He can't understand what he did wrong. I told him that I don't really like the threesomes and foursomes and that I wanted something from his heart... something to show that he cares. He started in about how we're not lesbians, and I had enough. I'm only willing to take so much shit. And, believe me, I've put up with plenty from Mister Kinny. I packed a few things and left."
Daphne got up and took a seat on Justin's lap, hugging him. "I'm sorry, Jus. You can stay here for as long as you want."
"Thanks, Daph."
"And, since the semester is over, we can have some fun! Hang out like we used to."
Justin smiled. He had truly missed just hanging out with Daphne. They hadn't had much friend time in a while. He missed just hanging out and talking about anything and everything, hitting the mall, just whatever they felt like doing. Daphne was his best friend and he knew that he was lucky to have her.
