A Captivating Coupling Beyond Snippet One :Good Things Come To Those Who Wait AN: This is one of my first snippets for the ACC and Beyond Universe. These will not be beta’d. I’d like to give Helen a break every now and then, and I like the idea of just throwing these out quickly. This will probably be the largest one, a little over 960 words. Mostly I will just be writing things in here that will not be major plot points in the story. Well, not too much anyway. Because I notice that there is so much angst and drama and like for things to be light every now and again. And because I have yet to be able to write one of my m-pregs with just days in the life of the pregnancy, my own fault entirely, but also one of the reasons I wanted to write m-preg in the first place. Because I find it hot, and romantic. Sue me. If there are any specific scenes you’d like to see happen please review and let me know, and I will guarantee to put those in here. Thank you so much to all of my dedicated readers and reviewers. This one is for Helen, my beta who has also been making my banners. I love you Helen! This takes place after ch13 of MIC. Two Weeks After They Found Out About The Pregnancy “Justin?” Brian calls from the kitchen. Justin doesn’t answer, he’s too engrossed in the new program that was just delivered for his computer. Brian walks down the hallway carrying a bowl of fruit salad he’d made for his lover. He finds Justin clicking and scrolling away on the computer in the bedroom. Justin looks up and smiles as Brian walks towards him. “Hey.” He says looking to see what Brian has in his hands. Brian kisses the back of Justin’s head, taking a minute to smell his blond hair before pulling up a chair beside the boy. “What have you got?” Justin asks staring at the fruit longingly. Brian chuckles. “I made you a snack.” He says handing the bowl over to Justin who takes it smiling really big. “Vanku.” He tells Brian threw a large bite of the mix. The juice seeps out of his lips and Brian is right there to lick it off his chin. “You’ve been in here for an hour and a half. Have you figured it out yet?” Brian asks glancing at the screen, where some sort of calendar is displayed. Justin nods and swallows his food before answering. “Of course.” He says matter of fact. “I just don’t know for sure how far along I am, so it’s kind of hard to calculate it, but in that medical book I got, it talks about a way that I can almost find out.” Justin blushes and stuffs another large spoonful into his mouth. Brian rises his eyebrow, not sure if he wants to ask. “How is that?” Justin chews a bit more and then swallows. “Well, the book said that basically you could tell by how many inches the placenta is from my prostate.” Brian smirks. “And you want me to do what? Stick a ruler up there and feel around?” Justin blushes again. “No, of course not. I mean.. can you feel it when your cock is up there?” Brian laughs. “No, of course not. I could feel a little more pressure..” He stops himself from saying. ‘With the other baby.’ And says instead, “But you realize that that isn’t really where the baby is right?” Brian asks. “That where my dick is, is no where near the lining of your placenta. Not until much later on, and that’s why we can’t have sex later in your pregnancy.” Justin shovels more in his mouth and shakes his head, still blushing. “I know that, but you can probably feel it if you put your hand in there and curved your fingers up?” Brian went pale. “You.. You want me to fist you?” Justin laughed and spat out little bits of cantaloupe. “No! Jesus Brian, never mind.” He turned back to the computer with a sad look on his face. Brian smiled. “Justin.” He said softly, putting his hand over the smaller one covering the mouse. “Justin, look at me.” Justin turned his pouting face back to Brian. “What?” “I’m not a doctor okay?” He said sternly. “I wouldn’t know shit about what was going on in there.” Justin let out a huff and reached for the fruit again, but Brian stopped him. “We had sex once before you got pregnant okay?” Brian said. “But… but we had sex more than that before we took the tests Brian.” Justin said, his eyebrows rising. Brian took Justin’s hand in his. “Listen, Justin.” His voice was soft and gentle as he moved their hands to Justin’s stomach. “You got pregnant, the week you came back.” Brian said looking him in the eyes before moving their hands to his chest, above his heart. “But how can you be sure Brian?” Justin asked. “I know it here Justin.” Brian spoke, looking directly into Justin’s eyes. Justin closed his eyes and nodded his head. “Do…do…do you remember what that date was?” He asked moving Brian’s hand into his lap, covering it with his other one. Brian nodded. His eyes took on a far away look, and then he smiled, sadly. “It was the same day that I lost my baby, and it was my birthday.” He said through a choked breath. Justin flinched for a moment. “But..” And before he could say it, the tears in Brian’s eyes made him understand. “Oh.” Justin pulled Brian into his arms then. Hugging his lover tightly as he cried silently, but his body shook from the memories. Brian hadn’t ever realized that he actually felt anything for that baby. He thought that it hadn’t really bothered him at all. I mean, it wasn’t like he wanted it. And it wasn’t like he ever even held it. Maybe the grief he felt over Beacan was pouring into his sorrow over that baby. Hell, it had just been a fetus then. He hadn’t even asked of what the sex was. And he’d never know. But here he was, still crying over it. His tears started to subside and he started to feel much better. It had been ten years. And he hadn’t cried one tear. But feeling safe with Justin made him finally let it all out. “I’m sorry I forgot your Birthday.” Justin said softly into Brian’s ear. Brian leaned up and smiled. “It’s okay. There was so much going on.” He told him, wiping at his eyes. Justin frowned. “I at least would have liked to have gotten you something though.” Brian leaned forward and kissed Justin’s lips before getting on his knees and putting his head on Justin’s full belly. He looked up into the blue eyes and smiled. “You gave me everything I could ever want Justin.” He whispered. And Justin’s heart once again melted. And here's the link to the next ACC chapter.
