Justin opened his eyes to stare back into another set of blue eyes. He sat in bed and looked around in shock. “Mom, Dad, what are you guys doing here?” Justin asked. “We came to see how you were doing.” Craig said. “I thought you didn’t love me.” Justin told him. Craig took a deep breath. “I was mad, Justin. I’m sorry.” Craig said. Justin looked at his mother and saw her glaring at his father. “Mom?” “Justin, honey, how you been? You had me worried sick.” Jennifer told him. “Why didn’t even look for me?” Justin asked crying. “Your father told me you had run away.” Jennifer said coldly as she looked at Craig. “I would have never known where you were if the hospital hadn’t called.” Justin smiled a little when his mother kissed him. “You are coming home with me.” Jennifer said. “What about dad?” Justin asked, realizing that his mother hadn’t included his father. “I was wrong.” Craig said. “We can talk about it at home.” Jennifer assured him. “I’m sorry.” Craig told him. Justin smiled a little. “Your room is waiting for you.” Jennifer told him. “Mom, I’m pregnant.” Justin said rubbing his belly. “I know sweetie. They told me. Plus it’s obvious you are.” Jennifer said patting Justin’s belly. Justin smiled but then frowned. “Mom, I was thinking of moving in with Brian.” Justin told her. “We already bought a house.” “Oh.” Jennifer said. “That’s the man you talked about before.” Justin nodded. “So how did this happen?” Jennifer asked, meaning Justin’s pregnancy. “Well, it was an accident.” Justin told her. “We are very careful always.” “Do you need anything?” Craig asked. Justin shook his head. “Justin, I want you to come home with me, baby. Please.” Justin bit his lower lip and nodded. Jennifer smiled happily. *** “What about Brian?” Michael asked. “I’m not breaking up with him Michael. I just…I miss my mom and my sister and even…my dad.” “He’s the asshole that threw you out because…” Michael stopped arguing when he saw Justin’s breathing hitching. “Look, forget it. You are probably right. I’m going to call Brian and talk to him.” Justin nodded and got comfortable in his hospital bed. He couldn’t wait to get out of the place. He thought about all the things he wanted to do with Brian and the baby. Michael walked outside the room and talked with Brian briefly before he came back into the room. He stood in from of Justin and smiled as he covered the phone. “He doesn’t know you are in the hospital.” Michael whispered. “Or that you are going to go stay with your parents because he would be furious enough to rip off my neck.” Justin nodded. “Justin, I don’t want you to be upset.” Michael told him. “Did something happen?” Justin asked. Michael shook his head. “Brian is going to have to stay a while longer in New York.” Michael told him. Justin started to pout. “Justin, he’s coming back.” Justin took a deep breath and nodded. He put his hand out and Michael gave him the phone. “Hello?” “Hey, baby boy.” Brian said. “Where are you at?” Justin asked. “I’m in my office.” “I miss you.” Justin said. “Me too, baby.” Brian said as he sat down. “When are you coming back?” “I’m not sure.” Brian told him. “I want you here.” Justin complained. “I know, baby.” Brian said smiling. “I want to be there too.” “I’m so horny sometimes.” Justin whispered into the phone. Michael who had his back to Justin smirked. “God, Justin.” Brian groaned. “Stop being such a naughty boy.” Justin giggled. “Look, I have to go.” Brian said. “I need to sign some papers. I’ll call you tonight.” “I’ll call you.” Justin said. “Okay.” Brain told him. “Brian, I...” Justin murmured. “I…” Justin wanted to tell Brian that he was moving back into his home but didn’t dare. He didn’t know how Brian would react but he was sure that Michael was right. Brian was going to be pissed. “What?” Brian asked. “I love you.” Justin said. “I know. Later.” “Later.” Justin whispered into the phone. Michael looked at Justin. “You didn’t tell him.” Michael said. “I will.” Justin assured him. “Now, can you help me? I want to get out of here already.” Michael nodded and hoped Justin would be okay with his parents. *** Justin smiled and hugged Debbie. “We are so going to miss you.” Debbie told him. “Yeah, we are.” Emmett said hugging Justin next. Justin was crying. Craig was by the door holding Justin’s things. “I’m going to call you.” Vic said. “Everyday.” “Okay.” Justin said smiling. “Here.” Lindsay said, giving Justin a piece of paper. “Anything you need, call us.” “Okay.” Justin told her. “Justin, let’s go.” Craig said dryly. “I’d better go.” Justin said. “Bye.” Michael said, hugging Justin. “I’ll call Brian.” Justin whispered to Michael. Michael smiled and nodded. “Justin.” Craig said again. Justin pulled away and walked towards his father. “Bye.” Debbie yelled. “I’m so going to miss him.” “He’s going to be within reaching distance.” Michael said smirking. “Yeah.” Vic agreed. “His father is kind of strict.” Melanie said. “I’ll say.” Ted told them. “He gives me the creeps.” “He’s a good man. He thanked me and Vic for taking care of his son. Right, Vic.” Vic nodded but he couldn’t shake the bad feeling he had gotten from Craig. “What happen to all your clothes?” Craig asked. “I thought you left with more than a bag.” “They are at home...in the apartment.” Justin said. “I was living with Brian. I have a key we could go get them.” Craig shook his head. “We’ll buy you new ones.” Craig told him. Justin nodded and felt that his father was mad not sure why. *** Justin laughed as Molly tickled him. “It’s time for bed.” Craig said getting up. “You too, Justin.” “But dad.” Justin complained. “You are starting school tomorrow, remember?” Craig asked smiling. Justin nodded and got up slowly. “You are so slow.” Molly said. “Thank you.” Justin told her as he rubbed his belly. “I’ll take you to school tomorrow.” Jennifer said to Justin. “Goodnight, Mommy.” Molly yelled from the stairs. “Night, Dad.” “Night.” Jennifer and Craig said at the same time. “How are you feeling?” Jennifer asked Justin. “Big.” Justin told her. Jennifer laughed. “It will soon be over.” Justin nodded. “Good night, son.” Craig told him. “Night, Dad. Night, Mom.” Justin said as he went up the stairs after his sister. Justin was happy that he was back. He had missed his parents and little sister like crazy. He had missed the way they interacted with each other. But now he was missing everyone else. He especially missed Brian. Justin rubbed his belly when the baby kicked him hard. “I know. I miss him too.” Justin whispered as he got in his room and closed the door. He hoped that Michael and the others would come visit him soon. Justin had called Brian and they had talked for a while. Brian was going to be there in a week at max. Justin was counting the days. *** Michael knocked on the door and waited. “Who are you?” Craig asked. “I’m Michael. I came to see Justin.” “You are one of his faggot friends.” Craig hissed. Michael was shocked to say the least. “I don’t want you here. Don’t call him either or I’ll call the cops for what you did to my son.” Craig hissed. “I haven’t done anything to him. I have been helping him. Now let me in.” Michael said. “If you don’t want anything happen to that baby, you’d better leave.” Craig hissed. “And stay the fuck away. Tell the others.” Craig closed the door. Michael just stared at the door for a long time before he turned around to leave. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do now. He needed to get to Justin as soon as possible. *** “What did you do today?” Justin asked. “Work and work and then…oh yes…work.” Brian told him. Justin could tell that Brian was stressed out. “I wish I was there.” “Me too, baby.” Brian said. “I was looking at some names today.” Justin said. “What are they?” Brian asked. “Well, I couldn't find anything I like.” Justin said. Brian laughed. “What?” Justin asked. “You never can make up your mind.” Brian told him. “Oh, leave me alone.” Justin said smiling. “Michael told me that the crib got to the apartment today.” Brian said. “I want you guys to wait for me to set it up.” “Okay.” Justin said. “So what did you do today?” Brian asked. “Uh, not much.” Justin said. Justin had spent his day with his mother. They had gone shopping for new clothes but he wasn’t about to tell that to Brian, at least not yet. “You are taking it easy, right baby?” Brian asked worried. “Of course I am.” Justin told him rolling his eyes. “Good.” Brian said. “You sound tired.” Justin said and looked at the time. Justin saw that it was already late and chastised himself for calling Brian so late. “I am.” Brian told him. “I’m going to let you go so you can sleep.” Justin said. “No.” Brian told him. “I want to hear your voice. Justin smiled widely and got comfortable in his bed. He was going to talk to Brian until Brian or him fell asleep. *** Michael sat down on the couch trying to think of what to do. He wanted to call Brian and tell him what was going on. He had talked with Justin and the boy had told Michael he was fine so Michael wasn’t so worried. Michael chose not to tell Justin the way Craig had treated him. He picked the phone to call Justin to make sure that the blond was okay. “Hello.” Jennifer said. “Hi, is Justin there?” Michael asked. “Who is it?” Craig asked. “They are looking for Justin.” Jennifer told him. Michael heard Craig screaming at her to hang up. And then the line went dead. He looked at the phone in his hand and frowned. He thought of calling Brian but Justin had said not to bother him because Brian was working on a big campaign and was stressed out. Michael didn’t called his best friend knowing that Brian was going to be back soon and things would be alright or at least he hope so.
