A/N: I'm so honored because I was reading LJ and someone wrote a little ficlet about Brian being a dog. They disagreed with my choice of breed, but I'm still so happy that they are reading my story...here's the link if you want to read what they wrote http://community.livejournal.com/qaf_crackfic/28709.html?#cutid1 Also I want to thank Gerri for her great Chapter suggestions, and of course a huge THANK YOU to Elyxer for her beta work. My friend without you I would be nothing. ___________________________________________________________________________ Justin was deep in thought during the walk through the park near the flat where he lived with Ethan. For quite a while now he'd thought about leaving Ethan. Something was missing in their relationship. What once was all romantic and lovingly was now annoying to him. It began with Ethan's violin music and stopped with his floor picnics. On the other hand, Justin had nowhere to go, even his former best friend Daphne turned her back on him after he got together with Ethan. *Flashback* "It's just wrong, Justin. You're still searching for the other guy.", his best friend shouted at him when he told her about moving in with Ethan. "I'm not. Okay, for one or two days I thought about him a lot, but I'm not interested in finding him anymore.", Justin answered, but his friend could see the lie in his eyes. "Well duh! Then, Mr. Taylor. Tell me why do you always carry around his note. I mean, if you weren't interested in him anymore you would have thrown it away a long time ago.", just then Daphne grabbed for Justin's wallet which lay in front of her on the table and snatched it open. Out of the wallet she pulled the note and smacked it on the table. Justin just blushed and turned around. "It isn't your business.", Justin mumbled and Daphne shook her head. "Of course it's my business. Justin, you're making the biggest fucking mistake by moving in with Ian. Don't you see it? You don't love him. You just want somebody to fill the hole that the guy left behind. And let me tell you something. Only 'BAK' can do that. Not that stupid banjo player!", Daphne shouted and sat down on her chair again. "First of all, his name is Ethan not Ian. Second he's not a banjo player, he's a violin player-", Justin was interrupted by Daphne's hand. "I don't care what his name is or what he's doing. I'm not even one bit interested. If you think you can be happy with him, go! But don't come back to me after you realize that you're not happy with him!", Daphne shouted again, stood up from her chair, went into the bathroom and closed the door with a loud bang. "I expect you and your things gone when I come back out.", he heard a mumbled cry. *End Flashback* That was the last time he'd talked to Daphne. He'd seen her a few times on his way to PIFA, but when he greeted her she just turned around and ignored him. Suddenly he's being pulled out of his thoughts by a sharp tug on the leash and the happy wagging of his dog's tail. The dog looked at him and in the next moment he is being pulled by his dog to a little boy who toddled in their direction. "Gus!", he heard the shout of the woman and in the next moment Cooper was all over the toddler and licking his face. A blond woman ran to them, pushed the dog off her son and glared at him, before she opened her eyes in amazement. "I'm sorry, do I know you?", she asked in awe and stepped closer, still with the little boy in her arms. °*°*°*°*°*°*° No fucking way! "Just give me my son back!", I bark and Lindsay looks at me with an raised eyebrow. "Your dog is quite aggressive.", Lindsay notices and I just shook my head. Didn't you see it? I didn't bite him you moron. I licked his face for Christ's sake. Not that it really mattered to you, right Linds? Anything that could hurt your son is bad. You even took him away from me because you thought I could hurt him. As if I would hurt my son. I turn around and want to walk away, when I hear a quiet voice. "Dada!", I turn around, look up at my son, bark and wag with my tail. I'm so happy that he recognizes me even as a dog, and even when he hasn't seen me before. °*°*°*°*°*°*°*° Confused Lindsay looked at her son. "What did you just say?", she asked her son who leaned forward in his mothers arms to touch the dog. "Dada!", the toddler cheered again and reached forward with his arms. "Gus, that isn't your father. You don't know your father.", Lindsay answered her son, and Justin looked at her with an raised eyebrow. "What do you mean, Gus doesn't know his father?", Justin asked confused. "Well, Brian was just the sperm donor. My partner and I took away his rights before Gus was born, so Brian couldn't get the chance to bond with Gus.", Lindsay answered with pride in her voice and Justin frowned. 'Brian', somehow that name did ring a bell in Justin's head, and the son's name was Gus. Could it be that this was the little baby he named the night he lost his virginity? "It's seems you don't really like your boy's father.", curious Justin looked at Lindsay who struggled to hold the toddler in her arms, while Cooper barked and wagged his tail. "Yeah, well his father is a slut. Was since college, but he has good genes.", Justin frowned, when Lindsay gave him this answer. Lindsay sat her the toddler down and immediately Cooper was all over him and licked his face. Justin smiled. He couldn't think of any reason why Coop would harm the boy. It just seemed that he really liked the boy. "I really don't understand Gus' reaction. Normally he's really shy towards strangers and especially-", Lindsay was interupted by the ringing of Justin's cell phone. "Hello?", Justin asked a little frightened, and immediately Cooper backed off from Gus and looked up at Justin, curious. °*°*°*°*°*°*° What the...? A chill runs down my back as soon as Justin answers his phone. I never heard him talk like that. He always has a smile in his voice, but not now. I only feel angst coming from him, he seems terrified. Gus grabs for my nose and I walk over to Justin and tug at his trousers leg. "Yeah, I'll be back in a few minutes.", Justin says into the phone and looks down at me with tears in his eyes. Now I'm even more curious. Why is he nearly crying? Gus seems to feel my discomfort and hugs me around my body. "Don't worry, Dada.", he wisperes and snuggles his face in my neck. "Come on, Coop. We have to go.", Justin tugs on my leash and I wince. I'm not really sure if I want to go home right now, somehow I think I won't like what will happen when we get back there. °*°*°*°*°*°*°*°
