At 7:05am Frankie walked down into the kitchen. He stumbled backwards when he saw Brian sitting at the table already eating a bowl of cereal. “Whoa! And to what do we owe this occasion? Brian is the FIRST one ready!” “Just wanna get to school early what’s wrong with that?” “Nothin’ except you don’t even know how to spell early.” “You are so lucky that I want to be early or else I would take a minute to kick your ass! Ride with Michael because I’m out,” Brian intentionally hit shoulders with Frankie on his way out. As Brian drove to school he felt nervous. This was a feeling that he wasn’t really used to and he wasn’t sure how to handle it. He never had asked a boy out on an “official” date and he didn’t exactly know how to go about it with Justin. He figured he would drop a note in his locker. That’s why he wanted to get to school early to do it before she got there. When he walked into the school building he made a direct line to his locker. As he was walking down the hallway, he spotted Justin standing there going through his books. “Of course he’d be here already,” Brian took a deep breath when he realized he would have to ask him face to face. “Hey…” Justin turned around to face him, “Hi.” “I just wanted to thank you again for last night.” “Oh, you’re welcome it was no problem.” “And…and I wanted to know if you wanted to go to a movie or something?” His eyes fluttered down towards the ground as he asked. He looked so nervous, so unsure of himself. Justin had never seen this side of him, he was usually reeking of too much confidence. “Brian, its not personal I just… I really don’t go out.” “It’s just one night,” He mumbled barely audible. Justin felt guilty for turning him down. He looked so hurt and somewhere inside of him, he really wanted to go. It had been forever since he had gone to a movie. “Listen, let me ask Kelsey and Breanna what they’re doing friday night and maybe they can watch Niko, but no promises.” A smile crept across Brian’s lips and he nodded before walking away to his first class. The minute Kelsey and Breanna came to their lockers Justin bombarded them. “You will NEVER guess who asked me out!” “Brian,” Kelsey rolled her eyes “How’d you know!?!” “Because we just passed him on the way to our lockers,” Breanna giggled “Oh…anyways, he asked me to the movies on friday and of course I can’t go because I don’t have anyone to watch Niko but if you two aren’t doing anything I thought maybe possibly fuck I hope so!! That you guys could watch him? I mean its only going to be for a few hours and he will sleep through most of it!” Justin looked so exited that there was no way his best friends could refuse. It had been months since they had seen his face light up like this. “Duh! Of course we will! Did you even have to ask?” Kelsey smiled. The first few periods passed by quickly and before Justin knew it he was searching the cafeteria for Brian. Finally he saw him standing by the back exit “Hey, I just wanted to let you know that if you still want to I got Kelsey and Bree to watch Niko, so I’ll see you friday then.” Justin turned and walked away. What had he gotten himself into? A date? As he watched Justin walk away, Brian felt a mixture of excitement and that awful feeling of nervousness sneaking up on him again. He decided he would ask Michael for advice on what to do on his date. He always seemed to be taking guys out and now he had a steady boyfriend, maybe he could even get him to help out? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Still half asleep, Michael wrapped his arms tighter around Nathan’s waist. He loved the time they spent alone together. Unfortunately, his semi-dream was interrupted by a loud pounding on his door. “Michael!!!!” Joan’s voice bolted through the wooden door separating the two quickly. “What!” He rubbed the sides of his head trying to adjust to the noise and wake up all at the same time. “What are you doing in there?” “Taking a nap, Ma! Jesus Christ!” “Dinner is in 25 minutes I want you downstairs to eat with the family, your uncle Peter is coming over and I don’t want to have to come up here again!” “Alright, alright,” Michael mumbled under his breath as he slid his arms back around Nathan’s waist, this time he didn’t stop there. He rolled over on top of his boyfriend and started to kiss his neck. “Mikey….your mother’s right downstairs, I bet your brothers are down the hall in their rooms,” Nathan playfully slapped his arm. “So..…bet they can’t hear us if we’re in the shower,” Michael got out of bed and reached his hands out to Nathan’s, pulling him up in one swift motion. The two of them made a mad dash for the bathroom located inside of his bedroom. Michael turned on the water and then pulled the t-shirt Nathan was wearing over his head. He kicked his boxers aside and they both stepped into the shower. Usually, he wouldn’t be this rough, but the water droplets that were soaking Nathan’s body were turning him on in ways he couldn’t explain, even if he tried. Plus, combined with the fact that they were short on time, Michael pushed his back against the shower wall and invaded Nathan’s small body with one thrust. Nathan’s mouth opened in shock, and a long sigh escaped his lips. Michael rested one hand on the shower wall above his head to steady himself and his other hand was around Nathan’s thigh, wrapping his leg around his waist. “Michael….” Nathan moaned out his name as he continued his rhythm harder, faster and deeper. “Shhhh,” Brian silenced his mouth with his lips. He devoured Nathan’s mouth as if this was the last kiss the two would ever share. Nathan’s nails were scrapping down his back. He felt the first layer of skin breaking as he tried desperately to hold onto Michael. When he felt himself close to his release he broke the kiss and looked into his eyes. At that moment he realized how lucky he was to have Nathan as his boyfriend. Nathan felt his body shiver as he pulled out. He stood underneath the water and he took a moment to watch the water cascade over his body. The two of them hurriedly washed up and made their way back into Michael’s room to dress. Michael handed him one of his football jerseys and a pair of sweatpants. Nathan had to roll them 3-4 times to actually fit and Michael couldn’t help but crack a smile at how cute he looked in his oversized clothes. “Have I told you today how much I love you?” Michael brushed a few stray wet strands of hair away from his eyes. Nathan smiled and kissed him before the two of them headed downstairs for dinner. Frankie let out a loud laugh at the sight of the two of them. It was obvious what had taken place, as they were both fresh out of the shower and trying to hide their smiles as they took their seats. Michael kicked him hard underneath the table and shot him an evil eye. “So, how’s school?” Uncle Peter cleared his throat with his question. “Brian’s got a boyfriend from school,” Frankie blabbed. “I don’t! And why is your mouth so big, huh? That’s how rumours get started.” Now it was Brian who kicked Frankie under the table in the same spot Michael had before. “Who is your “friend”? Is he the same boy you studied with the other night?” Joan asked. “Yeah, and he’s NOT my boyfriend okay? I just asked him to the movies for this Friday that’s all. That doesn’t make him my BOYFRIEND!” Brian was defensive. He hated titles being put on him and boys, it made him feel sick to his stomach. The rest of dinner was filled with small talk and a few jokes at Frankie’s expense and when it was over, Joan asked Brian and Michael to clear the table. “Mikey...I gotta ask you a favor.” Brian looked at his brother hopefully as they took dishes into the kitchen. “What?” “My date on Friday, I don’t know what to do.” “Uhh do about what?” Michael was confused. To him, the unwritten rules of dating were common knowledge. “I’ve never been on a date before. I don’t know how to act,” Brian admitted. “Well its pretty simple I mean use your manners. Hold doors for him, pay for the both of you, compliment him when you go to pick him up on how nice he looks.” Brian was taking strict mental notes on everything Michael was saying. He wanted to do everything right, he wanted to impress Justin but not treat him like a……..girl. At this point, Nathan walked into the kitchen and overhead what the two of them were talking about. “And when you’re actually in the movie…..” Michael set the plates he was holding on the counter top and pulled two kitchen chairs up side by side. “Have a seat my LADY,” He gave Nathan a cheesy grin and pointed to the chair. “Like maybe 45 minutes into you put your hand on his leg….like this,” Michael let his hand rest on Nathan’s inner thigh. “Then, if he doesn’t move, move your hand away you can try to kiss him later on in the movie.” “You're sure this will work?” Brian raised one eyebrow. “Positive. How do you think I’ve scored so many hot boyfriends, especially this one,” He stuck his chest out with confidence. Brian rolled his eyes.
