In 2005, just after the show ended, I started writing Homecoming. It was originally a one-off, and then kind of grew. But as I wrote, it became clear to me that there were a number of things from S5 that were kind of deal breakers for me. I didn't think I could write based on the characters as they'd been warped out of shape by the abysmal writing in that last series. So I started Reverberations - my alternative S5.
