Justin takes up a part time job at a prison. The thought of creating art with bunch of law breakers seems scary. Justin tries to keep a bubble around himself to block out all the evil reasons why the inmates are in the prison because living in ignorant bliss is easier. But what happens when a certain handsome inmate gets fixated on him? It can’t be a good thing that someone who is capable of taking a human life, is suddenly interested in him? And what about the fact that Justin’s eyes seem to find this inmate more often than allowed when he’s in the room? And to top the cake, Justin signed a document that states he can’t have any kind of personal relationships with the inmates. Now this seriously can’t end well, can it?

We are returning to Hawkin’s Island where the Taylor-Kinney compound is expanding in size of structures and people. Some family and friends  have moved on and some are joining the large, active clan. There are always unexpected situations but there is something that is one constant … they will always be there for each other.

Brian visits Justin in New York for their planned weekend together (it follows 'Missing You...' so consider it a sequel but it's not necessary to read the previous one)

A terrible tragedy has changed Justin's life forever, and he is now struggling to find the will to keep going.

Post-513. Justin is bored out of his mind at a dinner party with his latest boy toy. But can an unexpected guest turn the night around?

The year is 1889 and Lord Justin Taylor has just buried his father.  Within a week he also lost the stable manager who had always been a gentle man he could talk to. He would never be as great a man as his father but he promised to do his best.  He had to figure out how to have a family and children when he was only interested in finding a man to love.

Accidents happen, but some are worse than others. Brian's car gets hit by a blond who doesn't seem to be scared of him.

Season 2 Episode 11:

Justin: This marriage stuff is kinda cool. In fact, I was thinking maybe someday…

Brian: What, you and I?

Justin: Yeah, stranger things have happened!

Brian and Justin have an accident in bed.

The Taylor-Kinney family fell in love with Ireland but it was time to get back to  Pittsburgh and Britin. They met extended family and learned a lot about family history. When it was time to leave, Gus had to say goodbye to the best friend he had ever had.  Back in the U.S.A., new staff had to be hired and they wanted to catch up with old friends. 

Stories starting in Ireland have followed them back to Britin. Old and new friends will support our favorite family through everything that comes their way.

When a surprise visitor shows up at Britin, life is turned upside down for the Kinney-Taylor family.

Gus gets sick on his weekend with Brian and Justin.

Brian and Justin are on vacation in Italy. and Justin made a promise to Brian.

Brian Kinney and Justin Tayler had been married two years. They live in Britan with six year old Gus, 18 month old Aaron, and six month old Jessi. Extended  friends and family lived with them, helping with the children and the compound.  Gus’ mother had just returned to the states and was rebuilding her relationships after a year's absence.  

Their friends, James and Emmett, lived in another house  on the property. James was in charge of security and managed the property. James’ mother, Ronni and her husband, Dante, lived on the third house on their property and Ronni managed the house staff but in the next six weeks she would be giving birth to her first grandchild for James and Emmett.  She hadn’t realized how much harder it would be to have a child at her age but it would be worth it when she held her son’s baby in her arms.

Brian’s father, Kevin, would be moving out very soon.  He was moving into Brian’s childhood home. He also was going to open a new shelter. With Brian’s help Kevin, along with friends were opening Legacy Center.  It would be an escape for teens that had been thrown out or mistreated because of their sexuality.  Kevin had run a similar place in Atlanta but he left that in the care of friends.  Tom and Natalia, as well as his ‘adopted’ daughters, Brandy and Sally, would do a good job keeping the place running smoothly.  Brandy and Sally were also about to be parents so the family was growing.

Life at Britan was full of life and love.  And although they may face the ups and downs of life, together this tribe can make it through anything.

Justin and Daphne are working as servers for the summer before their senior year of college.  One night Justin is given a table of business men to serve. He never expected to get the best Tip of his life.

I wrote this for National Coming Out day. It's how I would have liked Joan's reaction to Brian in Season Two.

A post 5x13 fic.  Blake has been living with Ted quite happily for just over a year.  On a special night, everything is going exceedingly well - until a knock at the door changes everything.

Brian made it to the end of the Liberty Ride.  He had ridden all day with a broken clavicle.  When Justin saw him come around the corner his first instinct was to run to him but he had come this far and Brian NEEDED to finish, not for anyone but himself. After trying to talk Brian into getting checked out at the hospital, Justin took him to the loft and stayed with him for the night. 

Life With a Mini-Sunshine. Like Father, Like Daughter

It's my story and I'm writing whatever I want. Unsuccessful and poor Justin dies in New York few months after leaving. Brian can't stand it and he commits suicide. But...he doesn't die. Brian Kinney gets a second chance. He wakes up in the past so he can fix all the mistakes he made in the previous life. Brian is determined. In this life he wants only one thing. Happiness for him and Justin. Together. Because now...he believes in love.

Mel is Married to Ted and Michael is Married to Lindsey. Lindsey and Michael are both homophobic.

It has been five years since Brian and Justin had reunited at their Montana cabin.  Little Aiden is just completing kindergarten.  Although he would always have his health issues, they were well controlled as long as he stayed on his medication.  Gus was the son they are worried about.  He is 15 and completing his sophomore year.  He had gotten in with the wrong crowd.  He’d been living with his moms more and more who were too wrapped up in their own problems that they lost track of what Gus was up to.

Now it is up to Brian and Justin to try and get their kind and caring son back before it is too late.

Brian has had a bad day at work and plans on unwinding by going to Woody’s and Babylon with his friends and his Sunshine, only to have his plans dashed when he comes home to find quite the surprise. 

Sequel to “It’s Good to Have Friends in High Places.” Please read that one before this one. This is the next morning at the diner.

Justin regrets leaving Brian the moment he turned his back. He had this wild notion that Brian would come after him. He deluded himself into thinking that Ethan loved him. All Justin wanted was to feel loved. But shortly after he moved in with Ethan, he started changing. He knew it was happening, but he couldn't get himself out of it. He fell down a rabbit hole of depression, fear and humiliation. How does he get away from Ethan?

Justin moves into the red brick house with his boyfriend Ethan and the guy who lives upstairs is not just an asshole but also really weird.

In Season 1 episode 10 Brian and the gang drive to NYC to retrieve Justin. While they are on the road  Brian recalls the summer he ran away to live in New York and formed a special bond with an ex-resident of Pittsburg.

The year is 2014. Just before gay marriages are voted as legal in the State of Pennsylvania, Brian runs a campaign pro-gay marriages. The aftermath lands him in a lot of trouble. The appearance of an old friend and their quick thinking saves him from prison. Is marriage worth it to save himself from prison? Especially when Justin is back in town after many years of absence.

It's a new year folks and this is the first of many stories that I've written in the past year and are going to post so I hope you enjoy this.  It's complete and I can't tell everything cause it'll spoil it.

I guess the fitting summary is JR and Gus bond with Justin over music.  I wrote this for a friend who was feeling low and the great Kim ediited for me.

When Justin and Ethan end up unexpectedly working the same event at a New York City art gallery nearly two decades after their break-up, Brian insists he can handle it. But sometimes, the past can be a cruel mistress...

Wanting to change certain aspects of QAF led me to write this.  Maybe THIS TIME things go better.  Hope you enjoy these changes.  I plan to post every Sunday.

Brian and Justin have come to the agreement that they are not boyfriends but Justin is the man he wants to wake up with more than once.   When Daphne asks Justin to join her in NYC investigating the apartment James Dean lived in, he joined her. There were rumors the place was haunted and they were getting a chance to work with a team that had a TV show. 

Brian thinks it is silly and tries to get Justin to stay and isn’t happy when Justin chooses time with Daphne over a weekend with him and two other guys he lined up.

I hope you enjoy this short story that moves from Pittsburgh to NYC and back again in a handful of chapters.

As Justin makes his way through the crowd in Herald Square, he sees a man who is almost a stranger to him now.

This was a plot bunny that was posted several months ago by Tatiana Rita Rampin.  I am sure it wasn’t exactly what she had in mind but it is what my imagination created after thinking about it.

This story is an alternative storyline for what happened after Chris Hobbs bashed Justin during prom at the end of Season 1 and what happens when Craig Taylor gets involved.

AU. Brian takes his children out to dinner and meets someone who changes his life forever. Turns out the person needs someone just like Brian too. 

There’s a new member in the Kinney-Taylor household who is constantly getting in the way of all things in Brian’s life. I will let the banner speak for itself.

After being thrown on the streets by his own family, Justin accepts the first offer to get some money, even though the outcome is denigrating. He ends up as one of the dancers at Boys Peep Show. Brian is trying to escape his miserable life by visiting the very establishment Justin works in. When Brian decides to end his marriage with his best friend, he chooses to save Justin from the terrible life he has.

This story is about the journey to finding friendship, rediscovering love, reconnecting with family.

Justin Taylor graduated from art school with a graphic design degree.  While his partner Steven finished school, he was working for a small advertising firm.  He had applied for the city's biggest advertising company, Kinnetik, but after meetint the owner decided he prefered to make less money at the small agency than work with the arrogent prick, Brian Kinney.

But sometimes fate has a mind of its own.

At first, no one knew what to do, and it seemed like we changed direction every few hours. Could we still go to work, as long as we kept our distance, or should we stay home? Should we stay three feet apart, or six? Should we wear masks, or were we okay to go without them?

Now, we’ve gone for almost a month hardly ever leaving the apartment, and the last time we went out for more than a quick errand was the day we helped Gus pack his things and move out of his dorm at NYU mid-semester. And I’m still not sure anyone truly knows what to do. But we’re all doing the best we can. For right now, that’s all we can do.
