It's been about six months to a year since they won back the prison. Since then the group has brought in a lot of people and they've made a life for themselves. All that changes though when people start to turn without getting bit or scratched and James and the Governor return. Not only that, but Justin's been acting weird. His mark's getting worse for some reason and he's slowly getting sicker. With everything going on nothing will ever be the same for the family.

It's 2012, and eight years have passed since Brian Kinney and Justin Taylor have seen or talked to each other. Both men are living their own lives and are successful and happy; or so they think.

What happens when, in a bizarre turn of events and in a city far from either place the men respectively call home, the two run into each other? What happens when Brian finally admits to himself the huge mistake he made all those years ago and endeavors to get Justin back? What happens when Justin starts to question the path and the life he's chosen for himself?

Both men are very different then they were when they last saw each other; life's ups and downs have affected them to varying and shocking degrees. They're both older and arguably wiser, so will they find their way back to each other, or will they realize they're destined to always hurt each other?

They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Jack Kinney never gave it much thought but, at the end of his life, he no longer has the luxury of avoiding that kind of introspection. Now Jack is about to learn that putting your affairs in order is difficult, even with an angelic blond kid to guide him. But some damage is irreparable; some hurts, unforgivable; and some truths, impossible to accept.

Life doesn't always run its course like everyone wants it to do. Waiting for the right time, he takes Justin from the diner and gives Brian two months, the same amount of time it took for him to lose everything, to find Justin. Everyday he's not found Stockwell tortures him. Stockwell leaves the family clues every Friday to help them find him. Can Brian find Justin in time.... Or will he, like Stockwell, lose everything? A/N: Hi guys, for those of you following my story, i'd just like to point out that I changed the POV from 3rd person to 1st person. I'm sorry if 1st person POV's aren't your thing, it's just that it's easier for me to write and really get into the characters heads when i'm using 1st person. So, everything after chapter 2 will be in 1st person POV. I hope this doesn't discourage you from reading my fic. 

and, don't worry, I won't be editing the first two chapters as that would ruin the flow of it and I don't really want to ruin that.

So I’ve heard Speechless by Lady Gaga many times and I absolutely love the song, well all songs by Gaga, but that’s beside the point.

One day my muse (who happens to be Brian Kinney, but occasionally Justin will make his opinion known) put this in my mind and wouldn’t leave me alone until I wrote it. He just keeps nagging me until I write down every thought going through my mind. Some days he’s quiet, other days there are too many thoughts and I can’t write, but for this story we were very much in agreement. 

I've been wanting to write a B/J story inspired by Gaga for a while, but nothing came to mind... then I heard this one day and it clicked, Brian agreed and here is what we came up with. Enjoy and R&R, if you would be so kind.
