Date: June 29, 2012 Title: Holy S*** Yes, once more "Ms. Anonymous" rears her ugly head. I got one of those myself the other day on one of my own stories and initially issued a snappy retort, especially since mine couldn't spell Brian properly (why is it that they can issue scathing comments under the guise of anonymity, but they can't ever SPELL one of the main character's names right??? The review they left on your story doesn't even make sense to me...!) Ultimately, though, I chose not to feed my own troll and decided to just delete it because it wasn't worth it...Maybe they came over HERE to play, instead.:) People certainly are entitled to their opinions, but there are polite ways to get your point across without being nasty. I agree totally with you. If someone really wants to stand by their comments, well then as Brian would say, have some BALLS and SIGN it! There...I feel better now - ha! Just keep on doing what you're doing - the fact that you have 275 reviews means that you're doing SOMETHING right....!:)

Date: February 14, 2011 Title: Chapter 5: The Visit to The Palace Okay, my friend - I am finally (sheepishly) making an attempt to get caught up on reading this story (ducks under desk); sorry I haven't had a chance up until now to do that (I think it's called story writing overload - LOL!). I have to stop, though, and comment on this particular chapter. You have a, shall we say, eccentric sense of humor. This chapter's like a cross between Harry Potter and Alice in Wonderland. I had to laugh at the comment by Mrs. Kemp that they just thought Jason "was especially happy." (Well, maybe he was in his own way..!). You have an amazing imagination - I don't know whether to be impressed, scared, or both - LOL! I will now continue on to see what else your warped brain came up with.....! I think after reading what is going on in your mind, we should all be scared....very scared - LOL! Author's Response: nope...Jason was "Rapunzel" . Did you know, though when I was first planning this section, I was going to have Jason locked in a asecret (and clean) if that was possible, basement room. But as I got closer I though. I will try not to connect the dots between Stockwell and Prescott and charge you with plagiarism (or something like that, anyway - LOL!). I do enjoy the relationship you have going with Gus and Justin, BTW; as you know, I like to include that in a lot of my stories, also....now off to the next chapter! Oh - don't think I didn't catch the ongoing references to SW, either ("far, far away" and a "long, long, time ago?") As Ben Kenobi once said, "there's something familiar about...." Don't worry - I won't tell George Lucas! Author's Response: awww well thank you! When I I read this review, I LOLed until I had tears! OMG, I totally did not mean the far far away etc to have anything to do with SW but you r right!!I just was thinking about it in the fairy tale sense. Altho I did recognise SW as being a sci fi fairy tale a while back...so maybe all that was brewing the old sub-con too! But I m not worried about Lucas, I was more concerned about the whole Stockwell/Rickert=Prescott thing and plus, i was trying to emulate ( only much less expertly) the nightmares and Post traumatic stress that came after the kidnapping. I lost Hoss, my 185 pound English Mastiff, (actually, he weighed more but we couldn't get him to get on the cow scale - seriously, he was too big for the doggie scale), and he was my baby boy, so... I also am owned by an all white wolf-hybrid named Mimi. She's about 90 pounds, and so smart that she scares Border Collies, ha!, ha! She's 1/8 husky and the rest Artic Wolf. You have done a great job of presenting the boys in an intriguing light and I love the way you have portrayed Justin's son - I can almost feel like I'm sitting there while he's gurgling, trying to learn to walk and talk, being fussy when he's 'dangled,' etc. I like how protective Justin is toward his son - I can see him being that way and I feel it's very true to his character traits. And I can see the boys slowly becoming more and more connected to each other emotionally. Oh, and for what's it worth, I have no authority or say-so whatsoever in the matter, but I echo the other reviewer - I, too, feel it's worth a blue ribbon in my opinion and I told the administrators that as well. Again, it's not up to me, but this story is well constructed and interesting, and you've been updating it quickly, which I appreciate very much. I know how much those little symbols mean to me (and you're right, I never know, either, when they're going to pop up but I love it when they do!), so I hope they will consider this one for that honor. I like the way that you are slowly moving the two boys together and how they are starting to become more comfortable with each other. Loved the idea of finding love letters between George and his male lover and the photos you found for them were spot on! Such a great first story - I'm amazed and so impressed! I'm totally enchanted - your ability to place yourself inside B and J is great, and despite there being a plethora of vampire Brian stories lately, you've managed to inject some freshness into this version with Justin's telepathy and Brian's hunger for him....It will be very interesting to see how Brian recoups his trust with Justin after what he almost did....and I profess ignorance over the Eric Northman name - not sure if that is an original character or a crossover from another show (sorry - don't get around much - ha!). Date: February 12, 2012 Title: Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Powerless This was very sweet as well as poignant; loved the idea of Brian pouring out his heart about Justin, not realizing he was hearing every word. And I always did love that scene in the show where Justin first discovered Brian had cancer and was crying softly on his chest as he embraced him in his bed. This reminds me of that moment.. LOVED the description of Justin lying in bed - I felt like I was there (oh, to be so lucky - ha!). And I always adore the idea of Brian indulging in watching Justin sleeping.:) This was sweet and romantic in addition to a little hot, too!
