I also saw a few mechanical mistakes in the last few chapters I've never "beta" ed b4 but I'd love to give it a go and get some experience for my resume. So call this a volunteer effort. You know, at first I thought this story was supposed to end with them getting rescued and Prescott biting the bullet. So I thought things were dragging on. Glad you liked the ending, but I'm not sure you need more smut in yours; I think you include smut pretty liberally in your 'fairy' tales, and very vividly, I might add...:) Sometimes, though, I'm like you; I prefer a little more romance involved, especially with two men who are supposed to be soulmates and spouses (not that I mind down-and-dirty smut, too - ha!). And QWAN? It's some sort of impromptu theater group that Randy and his friends have organized that stands for "Quality Without A Name" (how cute - LOL!). They occasionally put on one-night readings of plays. I've only seen one of their readings - the last one - but it was very funny and spontaneous. What was even funnier to me, though, was the car out in the parking lot with the license plate "BKINNEY" on it - I kid you not! I thought it was great; now that's a true fan! Well, let me know! Love it? Hate it? Please review! I see you guys reading out there! If you're wondering what made me do a story about Hunter and paternal love instead of our 2 favorite boys getting it on, well one of the reasons is an image that I can't get out of my head. It was oh so quick but oh so lasting that even after a year of re-watching the series it sticks in my head. Of Hunter writing Hunter Novotny in a notebook over and over showing his deep desire to belong to Mike and Ben. However, since in this universe, Micael was a bastard a nd Ben was a sea monster and both are currently in an undersea lair somewhere, Brian and Justin are picking up the slack. Suffice it to say without giving specifics (in case yu just finished chapter 3, things get worse then better, then start to heal. A further message on what the hell I was thinking is on my bio page. Date: June 08, 2012 Title: Chapter 11: Chapter 11: We are Our Parents Children Draining to write! That's an understatement! That was an amazing bit or writing. So exciting and scary and sweet when he was rescued. And when he slipped in puke and dropped the phone my heart was in my mouth. Ok, I'm a little confused as to the events that are leading to Linday's degradation here. OK from what I gathered from "Gus" she couldn't find a job...she really looked and swilled wine...she "got this job" for Jonathan Green...she didn't get it (lost it???)...went to her parents so "her daddy could fix the mess" (her running out of money??) ((and yet she has all that booze?))...I'm fuzzy as to what they were telling her while Gus was looking at pale things and the turtle diamond pin...why she lost that job, perhaps? And drinking was part of the cause? If that's so why did they let her drink so much that they needed a taxi to bring her home??....ok so they get home, she has a freak out,(because....she's a lushy lesbo with no job??)... slaps Gus...refuses to go to Justin's homecoming, drinks her breakfast, lunch and dinner while everyone has a party and collapses from alcohol poisoning. OK...do I have that right? I took a peek at the next chapter and I'm glad you will be doing a series. This one will be my favorite though. You do kidspeak marvelously. It 3:30 AM here. ?I'll check in the morning if there 's any response. Author's Response: Okay let me see if I can outline Lindsay's motivations. I am the first to say that this writing was not the clearest partly because I was not sure how to write it and partly because I don't think Gus would know this, but the final straw for Mel/ Lindsay is that Mel catches Lindsay having an affair with a man again. I try to mention this in the divorce conversation chapter but again I know it is not clear. So early on Lindsay has lost her wife and daughter, is probably questioning her sexuality again, and she is heading back to Pittsburgh with no job and Gus, so she drinks on the plane On the other hand, Lindsay thinks that it may be rocky to start but subconsciously maybe consciously she thinks that she, Gus, and Brian can play house and live happily ever after. After all Brian does buy the house with the white picket fence, Brian is supporting her and Gus until she gets on her feet, and at this point Lindsay thinks Justin is in New York and out of the picture for good. Lindsay comes from privilege that privilege comes with a high brow education and a sense of entitlement. She thinks that the people at her old job will welcome her back with open arms, they don't. Lindsay goes to a bar near the house for a pick me up, her sense of entitlement is shaken. She tries to get another job at another gallery and she gets rejected again, and again, and again. Soon the drink pick me ups becomes Lindsay's crutch. Brian's help money becomes boos money. Then Lindsay turns to high class connections. Her father gets Lindsay an interview with a guy she hopes will nettle Brian and get her the kind of job she wants. Instead of what Lindsay wants Brian says that Justin is coming back and then she gets nervous about the interview. Gus sees her put alcohol in her purse. At the country club Lindsay's parents are mad because SHE SHOWED UP TO THE INTERVIEW DRUNK. I had Lindsay drinking at the country club because I wanted her to be drunk when she hit rock bottom. Lindsay thinks she has hit bottom when her parents and her world of privilege turn from her. That is when Gus calls Justin Papa!!!!!!!! THAT leads to the slap and THAT IS HER ROCK BOTTOM. It is no secret that I do not like Lindsay but I do not think she would strike her child in less she was at crises. When everything has crumbled around her Lindsay turns to her crutch, hence alcohol poisoning I hope some of all that comes across. THANK YOU FOR READING, FOR CARING, AND FOR ENCOURAGING!! Even the canned moose thing, I think I've seen that somewhere and there a bunch of canned "animals" hehe Deer, rabbit duck, gopher...well maybe not gopher...I'd also like to point out...just in case...that the 50 cent piece is not a general circulation coin. There ARE a few out there and you have to buy them from the post office mainly so they are treated more like "silver dollars". Which we also have! Yes, he is being very hard on Brian, but I think there's a good reason for it. Not only is he still grieving over the loss of his only child/son, but he has Brian around as a constant reminder due to the similarities between the two of them. Still reading although the reason I put it off for a while was because I was busy with a lot of stuff and before I knew it you were 5 chapters in and...well....yur chapters are long. Touche on the Brian's medusa problem altho, I make no qualms that i'm hopelessly out of touch with reality and am doing FU s (fantasy universes). You on the other hand are very good at canon and RL situations and here I just thought.....wow...Brian has the sexual Midas touch, doesn't he? Re: the Dukes of H comment: that was meant to be positive. I LOVED the Duke boys and the shows and don't consider then dense at all. They were fast, smart, and solved mysteries and were good with a bow and arrows! I only meant there was a similarity in the fact that they: A: Live in Kentucky B are dark haired and serious and blond and free spirited....mmmm the things I wanted to do to Bo Duke and him to..... I've read that you can be imprisoned for up to ten years and there's no protection againt homophobes or punishment for those types of hate crimes. Some articles I read say that it's one of the worst place on earth to be a gay man. I Don't mean to turn your stomach, and I don't know how true this is particular claim is that I'm about to share with you, but my brother (who is gay) said a friend of his told him that he was at a Gay Pride parade in Jamaica and several straight men attacked the crowd with machetes and chopped some participants in half. Castiel Novak was orphaned at the age of eight and forced to live with his stepmother, stepbrother and stepsister. He is as kind and gentle as he is wise and beautiful. Despite the horrible circumstances that his stepmother foists upon him, Castiel remains true to himself. His gentleness works miracles in the lives of all around him, including the Crown Prince of England. Dean Winchester, Crown Prince of England, was born to a life of privilege which unfortunately also came with specific obligations. The most important one requires that he marry. Eventually, Dean is able to strike a bargain with his father on the matter of his marriage. He has one month to find the love he desires to have in order to marry, or he shall have to wed Prince Gabriel of France, the betrothed his father had arranged for him. Date: May 29, 2012 Title: Chapter 1: Ever After OK, I decided to do this in Word and then transfer over so I could keep a running commentary on all the things I liked. Sorry if it runs a bit long but so did your story ;) Why on earth didn’t you just split it up? Ok first off, great job! Well written, fast paced, fun to read. Loved the many scenes and lines from Ever After incorporated in. I did my own version of Cinderella which went on quite a bit longer and was Queer as Folk based. Called Cinderfella and is on here somewhere. I did an Ever After homage as well with the judgment scene and the step-folk getting dragged away and almost sold. I love Ever After! One of the best versions of Cinderella out there, I could almost see it working out like that if there ever was an event that the story was based on. One of the funniest parts of that film is the glaring anachronism that runs through the entire film and yet is completely ignorable. It’s supposed to take place in France and yet everyone speaks perfect and even cultured English! (Except M. Pepe Le Pew near the end) I discovered this with the line: (in the movie mind you, yours is great) You are the Crown Prince of France! And in a perfectly cultured English accent, Henry answers: And it is MY LIFE!!! LOLOL Fun fact: Did you know there was a mistranslation in the story and the french word for glass was supposed to be fur. So Cinderella was supposed to have had fur slippers…not glass. Anyway back to the story: I love how you chose Castiel to be the Cinderfella. It even rhymes with Danielle…Loved it! Loved the Dean/Castiel pairing. I can’t really see that working out canon because they’re both so butch but….they were lost in purgatory/the forest together at the end of this last season. OK, that’s the smallest of spoilers for the rest of yu out there but I won t say how or why they are there. But still….mmmmm…lost in forest-y goodness…..sounds like another fairy tale romance opening to me! Love mazes so loved the idea they had their alone time in the middle of the hedge maze. Just reached the hint that Sam and Gabe will be hooking up. My first thought was ewwwww! But just because I remember Gabriel to be a rather odious character on the show. Hope it s better here. Loving how you still keep the brother’s closeness from the show intact. You wrote Bobby in perfectly! Who’d you lose now, idjit! I nearly had a conniption laughing! The horse Impala! Awesome! OK, just finished the Sam/ Gabe marriage scene. Flawlessly and heartwarmingly done. Loved the rescue scene from the sold into slavery situation. I m glad Drew was able to rescue herself in the movie and female empowerment and all that but there did need a good fight scene there. Act….thinking back I think they did clash knives there for a but but yu know what I mean… a good whackem, punching, swords the whole 9 yards and Le Pew needed to diiiieee! OK, a few times here, you have made the typo and written in Dean as Dena. I’ll show you where I found them…It was just a couple of times though. When they reached the dais, both Dena and Castiel bowed to the royal members standing on the dais. King John indicted that they should kneel. Taking Dean by surprise, Castiel canted his hips up in time with Dena’s next thrust. I’ve reached the judgment scene….I’m all a twitter…..Going great so far…ohh but hon….it was: there are a lot of people out of tongue…not town. Since no one’s speaking. OK back to the action…. And Finished…Was perfect and awesome and the ending as well. Bravo!! <Applauds madly> Summary:

Date: June 26, 2012 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 M-pregs are great but you know, this story, seemsd to me about self abuse/cutting and maybe overcoming that problem. This will have to be dealt with b4 any real relationship and or pegnancy can happen. And, i'm no ob-gyn expert or anything but I'm pretty sure aall the constant ( but slight) bleeding and or changes to blood pressure would be bad for the baby. Don't worry about "making" the story into something, just write it out line by line as it happens in your imagination. Let it flow, let it happen. The story will choose. PS. I know this sounds nutty but it's really true. Trust yourself, trust the story. You're a very good writer. Just close your eyes watch what happens...and write it down....and don't give it up....you'll be great

Date: August 05, 2012 Title: Chapter 5: Chapter 5 OK this is the third chapter in a row where you keep leaving notes saying that you don't "like" this chapter or you had trouble or whatnot. It seems that you are clinically depressed yourself. Are "Justin's thought processes somewhat like your own? I want to say again, you are doing a GREAT job! The story is engaging and rivwtting and if an m preg comes into play that would be very interesting. Also tempered with Justin's depression there is Brian's understanding and counsel. So inside you you must have an inner Brian somewhere. OK, I'm no therapist so I'l shut up now, I'd just like to say, if you get depressed, please keep writing and remember to listen to that inner Brian to make things better. I thought the yo-yo incident was very apt. After all...thhe yo-yo was originally designed....to be a weapon...did yu know? Hehe... Author's Response: Ha! Well, I could just see Brian in my mind's eye not being particularly agile when it comes to playing with a yo-yo for some reason; something tells me that his parents weren't the kind to pay a lot of attention to him growing up with toys. Date: October 13, 2012 Title: Chapter 3: Chapter 3 I have epilepsy and I was very impressed with how you described the seizure. I had seizures grandmal but I never urinated myself (than God, right?) Instead, I'd break out in an all over sweat. In 2001, thanks to a neighbor's advice I started taking an amino acid called Taurine along with my prescribed meds. I still have the odd petit mal but I've never had another grand mal (convulsion) again. Re: the story, am still enjoying it very much, I'm enjoying the gradual buildup and Sam and Gus' relationship Author's Response: First of all. I'm glad that you are better now, and I hope you will continue to inprove. I Know that there are diferent kind of seizures. When I was little, a classmate had one in the midle of the classroom. It was really scary, because she fell on the floor in convulsions and began to spit foam... Even the teacher was shocked. However, in this story, Justin doesn't have epilepsy exactly. The cause of his seizures is going to be revealed in a few chapters. Thanks for commenting and I hope you keep enjoying this story. Hugs.
