Author's Response: It's nearly Noon here and time for lunch. I decide to take a break from packing and check my email. What do I find but a ton of notices from MW of new reviews available. I knew it had to be you. No one is more generous with their time in letting a writer know what he thinks of their work. You are truly a blessing to an amateur writer like myself. This story is absolutely one of my favorites. I had so much fun making Craig more than just a homophobic prick who was stupid enough not to appreciate the wonderful son he had. I truly detested the man on the show and this time around I wanted to make him soooo bad that he had to pay dearly for his behavior. Btw, I really wasn't aware of how dangerous swallowing was when I wrote this, but I probably still would have written it in simply because they allowed it to be used on the show (who could forget the many times our boys obviously hadn't spit anything out during lovemaking sessions, except for that one perfect scene when Justin gave Stockwell's photo a well-deserved 'bath'). I figured if the very gay Cowlip (who certainly should know about such things) would allow Brian of all people to do it, then I could indulge in the fantasy too. I guess you can call it dramatic license. LOL! Anyway, I am very glad you enjoyed this story, JT. I thought, what better setting for Justin (aka Randy) than to make him an actor and have him in the movie version of 'Rage'. I truly don't know where some of my plots come from. This was perhaps one of your fiirst stories as I see your writing has changed since then perhaps (for the better). The plot idea was perfect as how they ended it was dumb. Justin would have had a monitor, he didn't just get a broken leg although the compound fracture is bad enough in itself. I imagined him having a finger monitor on and the alarm would have gone off when his pulse rate changed. Yes I have been placed on one after a car accident and I also had bruised ribs and like a burn mark from the seat belt (the airbags did not deploy). I loosened the finger monitor and all hell broke loose when the alarms went off . . . and yes my caring wonderful daughter told me not to be an idiot and keep my bloody hand still! (She is wonderful with other patients and the staff and patients alike think she is brilliant - as do I!)

Date: January 21, 2010 Title: Chapter 22: Chapter 22 I loved my chapter reviewers so I felt you might like it too! Several words are spelled in a Brit manner unlike we spell them in the USA and you said "pants". Did I find a hole in the plot? What about the ex-marine bodyguard in the cabin? Didn't he die in the fire and shouldn't Chris find his body? Great story here and looking forward to more chapters. Author's Response: Well thank you!! I was very appreciative of your comments. I am sure there is more than one hole although I kind of pictured our poor marine blown to unrecognizable bits as he was closest to the explosions, and after he found the knotted sheet I didn't think Chris would waste time looking for more evidence - he is manic in his approach and following his own kind of logic - that killer instinct to wipe out what he hates (or thinks he does). More eps on the way! You have no idea how wonderful I feel when I know people have actually been thinking about my fic and then I go back and reflect on what ideas I had at the time. Should I have made it more specific I think sometimes I take too much audience knowledge for granted but I don't want to 'talk down' to readers or have them think I am being condescending or treating them like idiots. More to ponder but I'm off to put up the next chapter! Hope you like it . . . or something! :)
