Summary:
The final chapter of "The Hobbit" was heartbreaking in many ways. It was supposed to be; it's Tolkien, for God's sake, and one doesn't expect happily-ever-after. But sometimes, things which should be said, stories which should be told, are omitted. This is one of those.
