This first chapter is so sad. You have me choked up over Ethan. He and Justin had a good life together. I think I'm going to enjoy this story.

There are so many instances here that Justin just would never say or do...

He would NOT tell Max that he was a good kisser, especially after what happened and what he said about Brian, that would be just leading him on and admitting you have feelings for an employee should definitely have been a huge red flag to Justin that his working situation had to change. It's unethical and totally unfair. "I'm going to win you over"...omg! Justin's boss should NEVER say something like that...

Justin & Brian need to do some serious communicating...Brian was a total dick with that Lee guy

wow. you wrote that wonderfully, not just the story, but the emotions you were able to convay. i couldn't help it when a couple tears slipepd out.

It is sad that Justin loses a lover in your stories, but this was very good and true to the caracters.

Why did it take about 2 years to award a blue ribbon to this treasure of a story?

We can't read everything and this one was archived. What we do is monitor the action log of review comments and that often leads us to give close consideration to a story that was missed before. If the readers love a story enough to leave review comments it's a pretty good indication it's a good one.

Since Mouse loaded it all up in one day, there wasn't a time period for this one to gain many reviews, and sadly still the majority of readers don't leave reviews so this system isn't perfect by a long shot.

Now it has a featured status and ribbon because a current review caught my eye.

It will also be considered for greater honors.

This is one of those times where the amount of reviews does not reflect the quality of the work. This is a little known gem that I would never have heard about if it were not for "getithere'. Awesome!

What an amazing story.  I have had several sleepless nights stalking after Justin and Brian.  At times I wanted to slap them, hug them, warn them, I was right there thanks to your wonderful writing. i appreciate the happy ending/beginning.

I dont even know if you are anywhere in the fandom anymore.  I read Edom posted this story of yours, and others, with your permission.  But you should know these stories are still loved and being read.  I think this is my third go around with this one.

I'll read another of yours in preperation for reading Paeansong's Sparring partners.  I understand she was inspired by your story A Lesson in Loving.  I know I read it before, and loved it, but I cant remember it, just a vague feeling of fondness for it, and a sadness when it ended.

If you are still out and about and want a challenge - poke paeansong and get her to finish the bridging fic she wrote between your story and hers.  She says she wrote it but its too terrible to post.  But I just gotta know!  She has a whole history based on your characters, Jason and Paul, and Justin having an art show in Santa Barbara that she refuses to reveal.  Not to mention she hasn't updated her WIP in forever!

So, I hope you get this "review" and know that some of us would love to read other things you have written.

Fantastic, awe-inspiringly wonderful! Even when I hated you cos i thought you'd killed off Brian in the penultimate ep, I couldn't help but admire how great the fic was! Even when some of the typos would flick me out of the 'flow' I still had to keep reading because it was too good not to go on! You were one of the first writers who hooked me into BJ fic many years ago and I really wanted to thank you for that! Hope all is well with you now! I was one who had a copy although I never shared it with anyone else. I will replace my old stuff with this new and 'improved' version. (I might just have to fix some of the errors though!) Look forward to reading more of your writing! :)
