i am so so glad for this update. this is an amazing story. i loved this chapter. what brian did to michael may have been a bit overboard, but it was brian's release of all the tension and hate that the situation caused. that michael had the nerve to come to the loft and say what he did is just one of the many stupid he's ever done. wait till ben finds out what michael said, then we'll see how he feels.

Can't say Michael didn't deserve that. What the hell was he thinking going to the loft like that. Justin knew Brian was going to eventually break down and there it was. I hope Debbie doesn't give Brian any grief about what happened. Glad to see the updates!!!

This is really a fine story. Thank you for writing it and sharing with us. I had hoped that the healing process was about to begin. But – that ending of this chapter was not one that made me relax. Just what could that DA have said that seemed to upset Justin? Why would Justin want to face the family with what announcement? I really thought the Justice system would not be a problem, guess I was wrong. I know, I know, we will all find out in due time. But I sure am concerned. Anyway, again – thanks for the story as it is well written and I am enjoying reading it. Though intense! (I had to add that.) DavidR
Author's Response: i wanted this story to be intense i wanted at least every chapter to have a extreme dramatic point into it. just to let you in on a secret it will have a happy ending but not for a really really really long time, it will not be the happy ending that anyone is expecting either stick with me on the journey and i hope you enjoy the ride along with me. it will be getting a lot more intense then what we have seen so far (Just had to add that) Bek

Author's Response: one thing i noticed about watching the show brian is always a couple steps ahead of everyone so i wanted the same to be true for my story. it will be a big announcement what justin has to say. i have wieghed my different options about whether or not justin is going to end up going to jail and it will be disclosed in the next chapter for the most part what will happen with my story.

Great chapter! I love how Brian was with Justin after hearing about everything. Even if he didn't know what to say, his being there was just what Justin needed. It was interesting hearing his train of thought and how he always knew Justin was different. I have a feeling once Gardner hears that Brian is taking care of Justin, he won't have the balls to complain...lest he lose them! So glad to see an update!

Wow a new chapter. I love the fact that Brian does not have all the answers right away. It makes it more realistic. I do think it is good that he realises that Justin needs reassurance and the control. Which he gives him by letting him know he wants to hold him, but not pressuring him into that.

I really like the idea behind this story. If I may recomend that you get a beta. I didn't have one for my first stories and after I got one, my stories have gotten 10 times better. Love the story though.

I am reading this and will continue it although it is hard for me to do so. I am not one for this sort of violence and I really cannot picture Ethan ever being like that-in my mind he is just too wussy! However, the general story idea and the writing is sound I think. Also I like how Brian is standing up to the family and how ben,daph and emmett are true friends. I want to see how you progress with it.
Author's Response: i am going to try not to have to add any more violence until we get a little further into the story, i had to lay the ground work of everything. i personally always thought ethan was a lame-o but i really truly hated him therefore i made him the horrible bad guy. i also wanted justin to be able to connect with brian on the abuse issue i want it to bring them together. i have always thought brian should have openned up a little bit to justin about what he had to go through in the kinney household. i am glad you have enjoyed what i have written so far and i hope you enjoy what i write in the future
