Well, at least they're communicating, maybe they can finally work some stuff out. I can't wait to see what you have planned next. :)

Author's Response: Working things out.  Something is definitely "worked out" in the next chapter. ;)

Reviewer: Rachelle (Anonymous) · Date: August 03, 2008 06:53 AM · On: Within Reach

Justin has been through so much and he has devolped such strong feelings for Brian and then to see Brian go off with someone else you can understand why he was so hurt and it made him feel like he wasnt good enough so I think Brian telling him why he hasnt tried anything was so good because it helps Justin to see that the guy at the club meant nothing to Brian but Brian is taking things slow with them because he actually cares about him

Author's Response: You're right on all counts.  He truly cares about Justin, but was acting in typical Kinney fashion.  Thanks for taking the time to comment Rachelle!

well atleast they both got out how they are feeling, there is so much fire between these 2 that even when they fight its hot lol

Author's Response: Yes, the hotness is always there waiting to surface.  Thanks Sara!

opened his mouth and put his foot right in it. brian was trying to be decent and not take advantage of him. brian has every right to be angry.

Author's Response: They both have a right to be angry for different reasons. Those two will get it right some day.  Thanks for commenting hun.

When those two finally do it, they are going to tear down the walls of the loft. There is so much passion between them. So now the secret is out, they have both admitted how they fell about each other. I'm glad Brian told Justin why he hadn't tried to have sex with him. There is now a new level of understanding between them now. Great chapter!!

Author's Response: Yep it's all out there now.  Thanks for the review Kat. Only a few chapters left!

Reviewer: Lynn (Anonymous) · Date: July 28, 2008 05:08 PM · On: Painful Disclosure

I am so happy Justin told Brian what happened to him in New York. Now maybe Justin and Brian be able to have relationship now. Great chapter, looking forward for more.

Author's Response: Thanks Lynn.  Justin should be on the road to recovery.  He's passed a big hurdle, and at least Brian can help him now!

I'm so glad Justin told Brian about what happened! Now Brian can try to help him move on and heal.

Author's Response: Yes, hopefully things will get better, and they can have a healthy relationship! ;)

What a great chapter (again)...I just love that Daph is back in Justin's life...she just rules!! I love that Justin was finally able to admit to Brian what happen to him in NYC.. Justin's pain is so raw and I'm glad that he's able to trust Brian enough to tell him the painful episode in NYC..Brian is right though, Justin isn't in a good place emotionally right now and he needs time to heal. You are updating so fast that I won't bother to say can't wait for the update...Just love this story!!

Author's Response: Daphne is a great character to write.  Now that Justin finally told Brian about NYC, at least he can help him heal.  Thank you for your wonderful feedback!

Author's Response: Thank you so much Anna.  Justin is finally letting Brian in.

Reviewer: alys (Anonymous) · Date: July 27, 2008 08:31 PM · On: Painful Disclosure

Love how Daph is back in J's life. How Brian is understanding of what J needs at the moment.

Author's Response: Thanks!  I love the relationship between Daph and Justin.  Brian is being very patient and sweet.  Hopefully Justin will respond by trusting him.

This is going to be a long journey for both of them, but I know that things will be ok in the end. I'm glad Brian wants to be there for Justin to help him deal with this.

Author's Response: Brian is, and always will be Justin's biggest supporter.  He wants his boy to get better, because of course, he loves him. (which he is just beginning to realize, btw)  Thanks for the review! :)

Reviewer: Lynn (Anonymous) · Date: July 27, 2008 01:38 AM · On: The Real Deal

'The kid had already gotten under his skin, and there was no turning back now.'

That's right, Brian. There is no turning back. Brian already knows he is falling in love with Justin. I am looking forward as to what happens next. Great chapter.

Author's Response:

Brian is a goner.  The duo are headed for rough waters.  Stay tuned Lynn!

Reviewer: sjmpets3 (Signed) · Date: July 27, 2008 01:32 AM · On: The Real Deal

wonderful chapter. so indepth and interesting.

job well done.

Author's Response: Thank you kindly, darling.  This story seems to be taking its own path.  I'm just along for the ride. (and it's leading me to interesting places) ;)

If I haven't told you before, I'll tell you now this is a very good story...You captured Brian perfectly, he hasn't loss his edge..I'm so glad that Justin is seeing a psychiatrist...Poor Justin suffering from PTSD, at least Brian can now take steps to help him. Now, that they no what the problem Justin can begin to heal!! I see you just updated so I'm off to the next chapter!!

Author's Response: Oops!  Sorry I never responded to this review until now.  But thank you Jasmine for your constant support and reviews.  I appreciate you taking the time to always comment and give me feedback!

What a fantastic chapter to such a wonderful story.

Love reading all your stories.

About time someone show the real Bri. Hate when he is always misunderstood or being treated unfiarly/used/blamed.

I hope both of them can help overcome all the obstacles and get the love, happiness they both deserved very much.

Please update very soon. I was so happy to see updates always.

Thanks again

Take care

Author's Response: Than you so much for your very lovely words of praise.  You're right when you say that Brian was treated unfairly.  I always felt he was never given enough credit for his altruistic actions.  He was generous to a fault with his so called family and friends, and none of them seemed to truly appreciate the man.  As for my story, Brian and Justin have a rough road ahead of them.  Thanks again for reading and commenting!

Reviewer: sjmpets3 (Signed) · Date: July 25, 2008 08:38 PM · On: The Crux of the Problem

he won't tell brian what happened in ny yet he's expected to help him get over it? and all that happened with his family before then? is brian a saint?

Author's Response: Actually Justin is going to be more forthcoming in the following chapters.  He is realizing that he can trust Brian, and that he needs to let others help him to heal.  Thanks for reviewing hun!

Reviewer: Lynn (Anonymous) · Date: July 25, 2008 05:29 PM · On: The Crux of the Problem

Now that Brian knows what is wrong with Justin, I hope he be able to get Justin to open up to him. Great chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you hun.  Brian is probably the only one who can help Justin.  (if he's willing ride it out)

Reviewer: Anna (Anonymous) · Date: July 25, 2008 08:33 AM · On: The Crux of the Problem

I'm glad Brian's been given this info, now he'll hopefully be able to start helping Justin.

Author's Response:

Brian will do anything to help Justin.  He's already taken with him.  (but don't tell him that!)

Reviewer: alys (Anonymous) · Date: July 25, 2008 07:08 AM · On: The Crux of the Problem

'Brian had departed the loft out of self preservation....and it scared the shit out of him.' So Brian leaving because he was scared, but thankfully admitting it to himself.

Like how Justin didn't leave after Brian ran. Also how he allowed the dr to speak w/ Brian.

Great Story.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing sweetie.  Justin is scared, and he is finally realizing he can't deal with this alone.

Reviewer: Jasmine (Anonymous) · Date: July 25, 2008 03:23 AM · On: Ouch That Hurts

Oh, this is such a great chapter!! I so like this Brian! He's thinking with his heart instead of other parts of his anatomy...I'm so glad that he offered to get Justin help...I just know once Justin deals with everything that happen to him not only in NYC but with his parents he will begin to heal...Than watch out because there will be sexual fireworks!! Can't wait for the update!!!

Author's Response: I really appreciate your reviews Jasmine.  They're always so full of enthusiasm.  I love it!  Thank you for reading hun.

I love this story:) ! And what a cliffhanger you got there, I hope you will update soon;)

Author's Response: Thank you sweetie!  If you've read anything I've written, you know that I love cliffhangers.  But I also finish all my stories, and try to update quickly.  In fact, look for the next chapter real soon! :)

Reviewer: maddy_snape (Signed) · Date: July 24, 2008 10:17 AM · On: Ouch That Hurts

This is my absolute favourite story at the moment!  Keep up the angst!

Author's Response: Oh wow, thank you so much!  I love to get feedback from readers I've never heard from before.  And you write yourself, so your compliments are even more valued.  ;)

Reviewer: Kat (Signed) · Date: July 24, 2008 07:13 AM · On: Ouch That Hurts

Dang! And the Brian/Justin show begins =) I hope Brian comes back and explains to Justin why he thought they should stop. So happy to see an update on this story!

Author's Response: Thanks for your readership and feedback Kat.  The Brian/Justin connection is a strong one.   Although this Brian is slightly more caring, he's still an ass at times.

Reviewer: alys (Anonymous) · Date: July 24, 2008 06:51 AM · On: Ouch That Hurts

Love this Brian, open and caring not snarky with J. But still not very good at communicating, hopefully he'll turnaround and say something that'll help before he leaves.

Author's Response: Brian is still the asshole we know and love. LOL  There's a bumpy road ahead for the couple.  Thanks for reading alys!

Reviewer: sjmpets3 (Signed) · Date: July 24, 2008 06:01 AM · On: Ouch That Hurts

found comfort that he offered justin in justin's arms as much as justin did in his. what is he afraid of?

Author's Response: Brian realizes that Justin is in an emotionally fragile state.  He's too needy and insecure.  Brian wants him to get emotionally healthy, since Justin's welfare is always his main concern.  Another complication is that Brian is his boss!  Thanks for the feedback hun.

Reviewer: Sara (Anonymous) · Date: July 24, 2008 05:17 AM · On: Ouch That Hurts

its sweet that Brian put a stop to things because hes worried about Justin being vunerable, and he doesnt know what happened to him in ny so he probably doesnt want to push him incase hes not ready yet

Author's Response: Brian is very concerned about Justin.  He doesn't want to do anything to endanger his mental state any further.  And you're right, Justin isn't ready.

Your story is really amazing.

I've been reading it for some time now and can honestly say I'm intrigued about what's going to happen next, so, please, keep going! :)

Brian's worry for Justin is really adorable and heartbreaking.

Keep up the good work!

You gave me everything I wanted in this chapter! I knew Brian would take care of Justin and that he would somehow figure out something had happened to Justin. Loved it! Can't wait for the next chapter =)

Author's Response: Yay, I'm so happy that you're happy!  Although they are on the right track, the duo have some issues to deal with first.  Thanks for the lovely words of praise, Kat!

Reviewer: Sara (Anonymous) · Date: July 21, 2008 07:31 AM · On: Mi Casa es Su Casa

Im so happy they are sharing a bed-sort of lol

Author's Response: Yes, they have made "some" progress.  But Justin has a long way to go, and Brian is onto him, and will not stop until he finds out what's wrong.  Thanks for the review Sara!

Reviewer: siren (Anonymous) · Date: July 21, 2008 06:47 AM · On: Mi Casa es Su Casa

brian and his "complications" issues...oh well, at least they are getting closer in some ways...though justin hyperventilating is sure to arise some interesting questions and conversation

Author's Response: Brian is concerned about Justin.  Just the fact that he is letting him stay at the loft, and in his bed, proves that he has "feelings" for the young man.  But Brian is also smart, and he is determined to find out what's going on with Justin.  Glad you're enjoying the story!

Really good chapter!! Busted indeed, finally!! Maybe now Justin will allow Brian to help him...stop being stubborn Justin, pride won't keep ya warn at night, a good home will and Brian's loving arms around you (sigh)...Can't wait for the update!

Author's Response: Thanks so much sweetie!  Yes, Justin is finally busted, and now Brian will make sure he has a place to sleep.  ;)

Reviewer: Kat (Signed) · Date: July 20, 2008 06:59 AM · On: Busted

Busted for sure! Now that Brian knows the truth about Justin's lack of housing arrangements, I'm sure he's going to make sure he's taken care of now. I hope Justin finally tells Brian about what happened to him before he left NY. Great chapter!

Author's Response: Protective Brian is stepping up to the plate.  You can rest assured that Justin will no longer be sleeping on the streets!  As for telling Brian about what happened in NY, I wouldn't count on it right now.  Thanks for the review!

Reviewer: DavidR (Anonymous) · Date: July 20, 2008 04:11 AM · On: Busted

I just wanted to let you know that I am so enjoying this story.I am glad Justin is ‘Busted’.  I feared for Justin’s safety.  Now I feel so much better  that Brian has found him.  I am lookingforward to the next chapter as Justin just may get his wish andwake up in the morning and be able to do what we take for granted.A shower and to dry himself with a nice fluffy towel, and who knows –

maybe even breakfast.

Goooo Brian, do the right thing.

Thanks again for the story. I just wanted to say hi and thanks for the story.

DavidR

Author's Response: Hi sweetie!  Hope you're well.  Thanks so much for letting me know that you're enjoying the story.  Looks like Justin will finally be off the streets!  And you're right, we do take things for granted.  I've been trying to highlight the plight of the homeless, so I'm glad it's having an effect.  I don't think you have to worry that Brian will do the right thing.  He adores Justin, even though he hasn't admitted it yet.  Take care. ♥ T

time to face the music, and it may not be pretty. where to go from here? back to the loft of course.

Reviewer: Sleep (Anonymous) · Date: July 19, 2008 07:22 PM · On: Busted

I like the story so far.Justin really has a rough life to face and this chapter was quite sad.Imagining the poor boy sleeping on the streets and cleaning himself up at the homeless shelter;still he was able to appear neatly at work and hide his rather sad situation.I'm glad, that Justin met Brian, who surly will help him.And Brian doesn't seem his typical asshole way.Like how you potray him.Hopefully the next chapter will appear soon. :))))

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your lovely review.  My intent is to draw attention to the plight of the homeless in this story.  Sadly, it is a harsh reality, and it can happen to any of us.  Sometimes I get tired of Brian always being portrayed as an asshole.  Glad you like my Brian.  I'll try to work on getting the next chapter done quickly. :)

Reviewer: Kat (Signed) · Date: July 17, 2008 08:14 PM · On: Office Meet and Greet

I'm so glad that Justin took the job, now if only he would talk to Brian about his living situation! That boy can be too stubborn for his own good. But I guess with what happened with his family, its hard for him to completely put his trust in people. The ones who were supposed to love him unconditionally betrayed him by turning their backs on him. Great story, hope you update soon!

Author's Response: Thanks for your sharing your thoughts Kat.  Justin needs to trust someone, and get over his pride.  So glad you're enjoying the story!

Author's Response: Justin's ordeal prompted him to go to the Pitts into the comfort of Brian's arms.  He is being very stubborn about accepting help...perhaps Brian can change that!  ;)

Reviewer: Lynn (Anonymous) · Date: July 08, 2008 10:22 PM · On: Taking a Chance

Great chapter. I wish Justin stop being stubborn and be honest with Brian about what happened to him. Brian has to know that something is up with Justin? I hope soon Justin will let Brian in. Looking forward for more.

Author's Response: Brian does know that something's wrong, but he didn't want to pressure Justin into telling him.  He figures Justin will confide in him when he's ready.  Thanks for the review hun!

And that he hocked his watch to get to Pittsburgh to see Brian.

Where is he going to stay?? I sure hope his parents don't find him!!

Can't wait for more hon, Emma x

Author's Response: Poor Justin was so traumatized by his ordeal, but I think having Brian's arms around him helped.  I know it would have helped me! LOL  Thanks so much for reading and commenting Emma!  *hugs*

well at least he made to the pitts in one piece.

hopefully they didn't brian's business card. he'll fly back in a minute.

why the fuck hadn't he gone with the older man. my thoughts exactly.

Author's Response: The thieves did not take the business card.  You can bet Justin deeply regrets not going with Brian.  Maybe a certain hazel eyed man can help him recover. ;)

I just found your new story and boy do you have us on a rollercoaster! This is really powerful and so heartbreaking! I hope that Justin will find the courage to call Brian and tells him that he accepts his offer. I also hope nothing else happens to him. Please update soon!

Author's Response: Hi Jasmine!  This is a hopefully realistic portrayal of the plight of the homeless.  This is will probably be the worst thing that happens to Justin in this story.  Thanks for reading!

Reviewer: sara (Anonymous) · Date: July 03, 2008 10:56 PM · On: A Dreadful Turn of Events

that was so awful, I hope Justin will call Brian so that this doesnt happen again, Brian will take care of him and Justin deserves to be treated like a prince

Author's Response: Sorry, I know it was pretty brutal, but also very realistic.  Don't worry, Brian will be there for Justin.

Justin should change his name and appearance then his parents wouldnt find him even if he went back to the pitts

OH no that last line has me a bit upset, I am looking forward to the next one but I am also a bit scared for Justin, please put me out of my misery fast.

Author's Response:

You're right to be concerned for Justin.  Something will happen in the next chapter, and it's not going to be good.  Hopefully, I'll be able to write it quickly, so I can post soon, and put you out of your misery. LOL

Excellant. Beautiful finding Justin again in the park as an artist. Hopefully Justin is doing well (not tricking).

Author's Response: Must be fate!  Justin only tricks when he's absolutely desperate, but things seem to be going fine right now.  Thanks for the review alys!

I like how Justin told Gus his real name, I hope if Brian offers Justin a job or help he will accept it, update soon

Author's Response: Justin felt he had to be honest with the little boy, and he would be wise to accept Brian's proposition.  Thanks for commenting Sara!

Thanks for sharing.  I like your concept for the first time B & J meet.  Well written first chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you for the kind words.  I'll strive to match the quality of all the ensuing chapters with the first.  I'm glad my story caught your interest.  :)

Interesting.  Brian is so sweet and caring.  Please update soon.

Author's Response: Thanks Lorie.  Brian has that sweet, caring side that he rarely shows to anyone.  Hopefully I'll be updating soon.
