Hi! I’ve spent the last three days mainly reading this story and I’m totally fascinated. At first, I wasn’t sure if I really like this story. The violence between Justin and Brian, or from Brian in particular, confused me a bit. But from chapter to chapter everything has made more sense and I’ve understood the complexity of your story and find it wonderful and amazing, even though sometimes I felt like I was in the TV Show Supernatural… :-) I really enjoyed Supernatural, especially because of Dean and Sam and their relationship, although, to be honest, I wanted to see them more and more as a couple and not as brothers. Then I discovered QAF and found my real dream couple, so I only saw the first 6 or 7 seasons of Supernatural. But back to your story… I really like your writing-style, I love your characters – not only Brian and Justin, but for example Kevin as well. What I like about your characters, and Brian in particular, is that even though he is a very cruel vampire (totally normal for a vampire), this loyalty to his family and his absolute love for Justin are so well expressed. The only thing is… Normally, I decided to stop reading unfinished stories because it's just too painful not to know how a really exciting story continues or ends. And although I'm glad that your story ends at a point when Brian and Justin are reunited, it's a frustrating feeling again ... and that's why I’m begging you to continue writing this exciting and awesome story! And I still have a question… It confused me a little ... The Matt from the last couple of chapters is Max, isn’t he? So, please, continue! Please!!! Warmest regards, aglaja

About two mouths ago, on a forum about QAF stories fiction, I found a link through "Dreaming about us" story. Together with "Sangre Azul", "Deadly Killers" and "The Agony of the condemned", "Dreaming about us" is one of my favorite stories of all times (and it has been more than three years now since I've been reading QAF Fan fictions).
I am very found of this four stories and I'm thinking that the main character are very realistic and the chemistry between them is palpable. On the one hand, Justin is young, beautiful, naive, a little bratty, a little snob, demanding and childish, like and 18 century mademoiselle and on the other hand, Brian is enigmatic, broody, noble with his friends and powerful with his enemies, cable of violence and jealousy in order to protect what it's his. Justin and Brian are just meant to be together, we know it, they learn to feel it. Justin and Brian are the modern Heathcliff and Catherine. They give a new sense to the "belong" concept. And i just love the way Brian posses Justin but is also ready to do anything for his partner.
Anyway, about The agony of the condemned, I found this story your masterpiece -till now. Is complex, alert, gothic and super modern in the same time, sexy as hell. I don't care if Brian is a vampire and evil nor if his mate is a naughty, crazy boy-I love them and I want them forever for ever.
I know that everyone who read the stories asked for the next chapters and i also know that is can be really a piece of cake to write so i just want to let you know that I hope you're fine, that life treats you well and you'll have the time and you'll be in the mood for continue the story. (of course the sequels for Dreaming about you, Sangre azul will be a very nice surprise).
I also want to let you know that the scenes of jealousy and rough sex ( when Brian is the dominant one) are super.
I hope my English is good enough to make myself understood, is not my mother tongue (I am from Romania, leaving in Brusells and speaking French currently).

I have a couple of questions for you if you could answer them please.
What sort of powers do your vampires have, example, do they have speed, strength, can they hear a long distances ect.? And is Justin going to be a good vampire if or when he gets turned again or will he be like the he was orignially before the spell was put on him?
I think you should get him back to the original vampire. I like Justin when he is not a romantic pushover, but when he is more like the orignial vampire/Justin we see in the flashbacks.
I love this story. When do you think the next chapter will be? I can't wait.
Author's Response: Well, I'm going to say they have the strenght and they can move fast and they can hear danger and even feel danger coming. Justin is not going to go back all the way to that vampire that we met in the first chapter, that was never really him. But if you're scared about what he's going to do...well, bad things...he's a vampire...but he'll be totally in love with Brian if that's what you're wondering. I'm working on the next installment. I just discovered this fic and pretty much spent the entire day reading it - my Sunday was gone in a blink of an eye. Amazing fic! I am normally not a fan of Brian/Justin vampire stories, but this one just grabbed me from the start and I couldn't stop reading it. Maybe I'll give other B&J vampire fics a chance after this one.
There are too many things that I liked to name, so I'm no going to enumerate them. I will say that your portrayal of a completely unhinged Vampire!Brian is nothing short of perfection. I feel terrible for Justin and his suffering and hope that you muse will be inclined to make things a bit better for him in the future. I don't particularly care for the idea of little Justin being a bit of an evil kid, BUT I am going to trust you because you haven't disappointed me so far.
Oh, one quick question - I thought that Mysterious Marylin/Jacob died in a previous chapter? Am I wrong? Or did he in fact die and was brought back to life for some reason?
Can't wait for the next chapter. I hope you'll post again soon.

Oh shit I hope Brian realizes that Marilyn did this mostly to protect the kids from danger but then again Brian isn't the most rational person in this fic and worst of all it involves Justin''s safety. I still think even after all this time Brian must at least care about Angela and Daphne to some extent she is effectively Justin's adopted mother.
