Wow.  I really enjoyed this story.  I didn't think I would because pirates aren't really my thing, but I love your writing, so I tried... and I loved it! Sexy! LOOOOOVE aggressive Brian.  Great plot line and characters.  Well done!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the kind words. I know, me neither, but I am starting to see that anything Brian and Justin is my thing. Ha, ha, ha. Take care.

What a great story! I supposed that the ending would be something like that. I want a sequel as soon as possible, please

Author's Response: Lol, you know, I don't know what the ending was supposed to be. But doing this opened a world of possibilities.

Wow...great story! Although I'm going to forget that I read the last chapter. The sex scenes were so HOT that I had to masturbate to them. Amazing story! You have a great imagination.

Lol.  That's good that means that you will be ready when the sequel comes.  Yay!

Reviewer: BritinForever29 (Signed) · Date: December 13, 2011 11:17 PM · On: Nothing Anyone Can Do

I love this story. When will the sequel be posted. I hope you stick with Brian being a pirate and being the same Brian that he was in the story. I love that Brian. I hope you stick with them being out at sea and not being on land and having it go like the show. Love it.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much.  I have no idea when the sequel will be out but I'm working on it.  I just want it to be familiar but not the same you know.  Like what Justin was dreaming about was another lifetime.  So there will be similarities but it won't be the same.  I hope you like what comes out to be.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 28, 2010 09:15 PM · On: Nothing Anyone Can Do

Why you little.....twat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im going to make up my own ending until your sequel comes out.   I cannot live with the agnst of thinking that Brain and Justin did not....well, I dont care!

So, when is that sequel coming?  This has been some story.  You are very talented and I enjoyed it all.  The sex scenes are some of the best I've read and your Brian and Justin are amazing.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for you review.  I will try to work on it soon so that I can post it.  Take care.

okay.  im concerned.  the boys are all in danger.  and we only have one chapter to go!?!?

Author's Response:

It's all crazy from here on. Hope you enjoy it.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 28, 2010 08:16 PM · On: One Story Two Sides

I still just love these two, LOL.

Very hot scene.  You did a good job of showing earlier a scene where Justin really didn't want Brian and Brian stopped.  That allowed me to just go with this scene knowing that if Justin really wanted to stop, Brian would have.

They just had to fight it out.  They both know the truth, but they were still hurt.  I forgive them.  Hope they forgive each other.

Author's Response:

Hope they did or we got problems.  He, he.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 28, 2010 07:36 PM · On: Things Are Not What They Appear

Im glad Justin didn't do anything with Brandon.  I know Brian's feelings on the rights of gay men and fucking, but your story on the boat seems to be a bit different.  I think.  Because they are doing it raw, I think of Brian and Justin as being monogamous.  And I think they are, but that doesn't mean they are not human and are occationally tempted.  As Justin was by Brandon.  I trust that Brian didn't do anything with Luke.  Justin's actions with Brandon looked just as guilty.  They both need to talk.  I suspect as Brandon tends to Justin, he will let Brian know how much the blonde loves the captain.

I hate the idea of a scarred Justin.  Is that wrong?

Author's Response:

Not wrong at all.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 28, 2010 07:11 PM · On: Looking For Riches

I like their relationship now.  The ship is its own world.  Gays and heteros mixed, but with a gay captain, all love is acceptible.  Now about the actual danger of living that lifestyle....

Author's Response:

Lots of danger... you'll see.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 28, 2010 06:43 PM · On: Back In Each Other's Arms

I love them.  You know?  I just really love them.

Author's Response:

I know what you mean.  *Wink*

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 28, 2010 06:22 PM · On: Wanting To Escape Back

Well, you didn't make that as agnsty as you could  have.  I think Im a little disappointed, actually.  Time is flying too fast and it has none of the agnst Justin had when he first became aware he was trapped on the pirates yaght. I'd thought he would feel equally trapped by his loneliness, family, or even society, after being away so long.

Author's Response:

Well I think that because of everything that Justin has been thought he's more callous.  If that's your way of asking if he's going to miss Brian, the answer is yes.  A lot.  LOL.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 28, 2010 06:03 PM · On: Home?

Its funny.  On the show, at the end, Justin HAD to leave.

I`ve never been able to make myself watch the last episodes one by one in full and in sequece because it breakes my heart too much.  I catch 10 or 12 min videos on youtube.  My season 5 dvds are still not unwrapped at all, and Ive had them well over a year now. LOL.

But, I must say objectively, Justin DID have to leave.  He was too young and inexperienced to make a huge decision like marriage without going out on his own for a little bit.  Maybe that is not necessary for all couples or all young people, but Brian and Justin are not ordinary.  I cant ever imagine Brian, being as successful as he is and at his young age not reaching even further and perhaps moving to NY one day too, for business.  Perhaps somewhere else, even.

And Justin, he wants to be an artist.  Not just to live off his work, but to be one of the greatest.  He needs life experience and new perspectives to do that kind of work.  He has only lived a tiny life in Pittsburg.  His experiences by way of violence has unfortunatly be varried and vast, but there is a lot of other things life has to offer.  He NEEDED to leave, even if only to know for sure that he could go back home to Brian.

In your story, Justin HAS to ESCAPE to equalize the power struggle between he and Brian.  Neither could ever be sure of the other until all choices are made without control being an issue.  Justin is his own man again, they are now Equals.

Im rationalizing and rambling.  I believe what Im writing, but Im also sure the agnst that making these decisions is going to begin in the next chapter and Im a little concerned how painfull all that is going to be.  :o|

Author's Response:

always keep in mind that even i would do something that i can't fix later.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 28, 2010 08:26 AM · On: Never Letting Go Off You

A great chapter.  A lot of growth in the character`s and plot arc.

Author's Response:

thank you.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 28, 2010 07:57 AM · On: Love Makes Us Do Weird Things

So Brian loves Justin and Justin loves Brian and everyone knows it.

It really only makes things more difficult.  If Justin stops fighting he will be `broken` and lose an important part of himself.  If Justin stops fighting, Brian will not love him the same, because that is the part of Justin he respects - that strength that fuels his fearlessness.

Author's Response:

You can only wonder what could happen next.

Justin wrapped his arms around the brunet. He knew he would always get what he wanted from Brian. He also believed that if he kept things civil between himself and Brian there would be a day when he could convince Brian to let him go home. He just knew it and he wasn’t ready to give up that hope.

Brian tightened his hold on the blond. He would show Justin that he was his property and if he wanted to do anything that had to do with his own body he would learn to ask Brian first. The blond was going to learn one way or another; after all he had all the time in the world.

Talk about being different wave lengths!

Brian said. “But still I won’t let you go. Ever.”
Justin bit his lower lip and his eyes watered. He felt so sad and yet part of him was happy to hear those words from Brian. The man wanted him always there and he knew the brunet loved him and that’s why he didn’t want to let him go but part of him was yearning to be back home.

Justin's agnst is so hard to hear.  He is a strong young man made submissive.  He simply wants the right to choose.  But he is also a good guy and would never choose to live the life of a pirate.  Sigh.

Author's Response:

He has a big problem.  He wants two things and only can have one.  Stay with Brian and be a pirate or go home and finish his dreams.  Tough.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 28, 2010 06:04 AM · On: Not As Great As It Looks

Oh damn.  What a roller coaster ride.  Brian's insecurity has always been his downfall with Justin.  Justin,  while being "on" to Brian, frequently forgot that in canon, but in your story I think Justin is sailing blind on dark waters and has no idea what goes on in Brian's head.

How can Brian hear Justin ask to keep snuggling while giggling and saying he's happy only hear Justin express hate for him as well as their entire circumstances?

Author's Response:

They are in love and then there is the rest of the world. it gets on the way.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 27, 2010 08:15 PM · On: Out Comes The Truth

Justin looked inside Brian’s eyes and what he saw terrified him. The man was stained with malevolence in his heart. But that didn’t stop Justin from being in love with him. He closed his eyes and tried to keep his up charade. He had to hate Brian so he would want to get away from the man. He had to go back home and forget that Brian ever existed.

Totally rational.  Exactly what any "normal" person should feel.

Yet:

“I didn’t know you were there,” Justin told him.
“Liar,” Brian said. “You squared your shoulders. You do that each time I walk into a room. You can feel me. We have a connection you can’t deny. Hell, I wish I could, it would make my life a whole lot easier. But I wanted you and never lied to you. You want me Justin. Your friends know it. The crew knows it. Your body knows it.”

How can you despise a man (okay, a totally hot alpha male) who admits he notices things about you and acknowledges their "connection" even though he would be better off forgetting all about it?

Justin frowned and got up. He didn’t like the way Jack had treated him. They were a bunch of bandits what else could he expect from them. He sighed and started thinking about Brian. It didn’t matter who Brian really was, the brunet had always treated him better than anyone.

I think Justin is doing amazingly well.  It would be one hell of a crazy situation where you have to admit you feel safest and cared for the most when you are with the one who enslaved you to begin with.

I doubt I would have been nearly as brave as Justin.  Admiting this to yourself is hard enough, saying it out loud, well!:

“I hated myself,” Justin said. “And I wanted to blame you.”
Brian looked at the blond frowning. “What?”
“You were right. I want more,” Justin told him as a tear made it out...
“And when it was over, all I could think was how...how Chance was waiting for me and there I was already forgetting all about him.. “I pretended like I didn’t want it, like you were the problem and not me. I’m such an awful person.”

But hey!  Justin wont be made into a total pussy!  When Brian is an ass, well the twink will ALWAYS call Brian on it!:

Brian sighed and hugged the blond in his arms. “So, you really weren’t mad at me?”
Justin bit his lower lip. “Yes, the one time you screamed at me I was fucking pissed at you.”
Brian arched a brow. “I can order you around you know.”
Justin looked up at Brian. “I like to think that I mean more to you than just another slave.”
Brian smiled at that. “Keep thinking that. You can’t go wrong.”

Now hearing Brian's admission has simply got to be gratifying!!!

And only Brian Fucking Kinney could ever get away with saying something so ambiguous and have it sounding fucking romantic!  LOL

Loved this chapter!  :o)

Author's Response:

I'm glad you did.  And you're right about Brian.  There is a lot of things he can do and say and pull it off better than most people.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 27, 2010 07:21 PM · On: Not Able To Walk Away From Him

Poor conflicted Justin.  But in essence he is a good man.  I dont think he could kill anyone unless he or someone he cared for was in imminent and potentially fatal danger.

Brian is a very dark character in your story.  That he has a soft spot for Justin appears to be his one and only redeaming feature.  Well, that and he is hot.

Author's Response:

You know it.  Ha, ha, ha.  Yeah, I guess even Brian deserves love.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 27, 2010 07:00 PM · On: Bewildered Feelings

“Go to sleep, Justin,” Brian told him. He didn’t have any idea why the blond was mad at him; he thought it was because he had yelled at Justin. He thought the blond was overreacting. “You have to wake up early to go with the guys.”

Well, that's canon Brian - clueless.  *snort*

ps. Im heartbroken that Justin feels so much dispair.

Author's Response:

I know you are but you know how my muse is with all the angst.  She enjoys it.  I'm just a tool to her.  I write it out and that's it.  Lol.  So blame her.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 27, 2010 06:30 PM · On: Eavesdropping

“Hey,” Brian said wrapping his arms around the blond.

Justin turned around and gave him a big smile while his brain thought of the perfect plan to get away

This is why I can't read these kidnap type stories.  This line makes me sad.  Why?!  I should be glad that Justin is still thinking with the head on his shoulders.  Yet, after their great night together I rather wish that they both were closer emotionally.

And I just wrote that after ranting several chapters about Justin's self worth and masculinity.

See?  Stories like this ultimately make me skitzo.  Not good for my mental health at all.  LOL.

Author's Response:

Now you don't know what you want?  Lol.  Don't worry Justin will go though the same thing.  Because he loves Brian and he'll have to come to terms with that.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 27, 2010 06:00 PM · On: Playing With Sharks

“What does my little damsel want to do?” Brian asked the blond.
“Stop calling me that or I’ll kick you in the balls,” Justin warned him.
“You’re not behaving like a good boy,” Brian pointed out.
“You want me to be a good boy?” Justin asked. “I thought you liked it when I was naughty.”

Im proud of how Justin managed to behave after such a frightening ordeal - pissed at Ethan, but not hysterical or crying (though both would be understandable!).

Im also glad that he makes it clear he is NOT the little WOMAN!  In my mind I have always thought of Justin as growing up into quite the consumate top.  In my mind, he NEVER bottomed for anyone but Brian.  Not that I think that being the bottom is submissive or somehow less than being the top, but I dont think that because he isnt 6 foot tall he cant be masculine. (Randy is 5'10", while not exactly "tall" he would be far from the shortest man in the room!)

Author's Response:

That is very true.  I guess because he's younger and smaller people think that makes him any less.  I don't.

Reviewer: M_elle_22 (Signed) · Date: September 27, 2010 05:24 PM · On: The Days At The Ship

If  you love something, then set it free.  If it returns to you, then its yours.

To be let free would be the greatest "gift" Brian could give Justin.

Justin returning to Brian in his own free will, would be the greatest gift Justin could give Brian.

Taking the risk at all.......well, could either of them?

Author's Response:

At one point or another they will have to go there.  Ready for when it happens?

You are going to make me sob in dispair.

I like how relaxed Justin got to be when he was drunk.  It was a nice break from what I could only imagine would be total fury.

The glimpse of Brian's inner thoughts were nice.  At least a little bit of the Brian we love has shown itself.  I hope Justin sees it soon.  The last sentence certainly indicates he'd be pleased if he know how much Brian really wanted him for hisself.

I never liked the novels whose main character was opressed.  It drives me insane.  Im hoping that Im gonna like this story more andmore as we go along.

Author's Response:

It was a good thing. And yes I'm pretty sure that you're going to enjoy the story.  Let me know.

Grrrrrrrrrr!  I am feeling for Justin here.  I cannot stand to be ordered around.  Id gladly be tossed overboard or fist fight and take my chances, but they have him under their control so long as Emmett and Daph are threatened.

Please tell me you are really going to write a sequel (or, better yet, that you already did and somehow I missed it in your list of fics)! I loved loved loved this story! It was exciting, interesting, and romantic/sweet (in that messed up way that's completely B/J)! I read it from start to finish (in one sitting).
