I so wish there was a follow on to this story.  I can just imagine their energy and "can do" attitude is now completely restored and they would go home to seize every opportunity to set themselves up for success. Lovely island descriptions - sounds totally idyllic.

Wow this was incredible, I could feel every emotion in this. I loved the beauty in every word of how Brian felt for Justin and it shone through with everything they did together. I didn’t want this story to end.

Love the pics.  Give Brian a lemon and he comes up with lemonade.

Author's Response:

Thank you, Phyllis!  Yes, I like to add pics. Used to do it a lot more when I had time, but sadly, it's hard now to do that. But I do think they add to the story. And a good way of putting it about the plot. I agree; Brian found a way to take advantage of what could have been a terrible situation.  Thank you as always for reading and for all the support. ~Kim

Hey Kim, Costa Rica is on my bucket list. Sounds like the guys really had fun in the sun. Nicely done!

Author's Response:

Hi, Kim!  I know!  After doing research on it, now I want to go, too - ha!  I was trying to think of somewhere warm but different for the boys to go, and wound up with Costa Rica.  I'm glad you enjoyed the story.  Thank you so much as always for reading and for your support, my friend. I look forward to future stories from you, too. :)  ~Kim

wow - great story - will there be a part 2 about their return?

Author's Response:

Hi, Claire!  Thank you for reading and for your lovely comment; I'm happy you enjoyed it.  I would love to extend it, but unfortunately time commitments, as well as updating my WIP, "Turn of the Wheel," has to take priority.  But thank you for taking the time to leave feedback!  It is greatly appreciated.  BTW, was reading your profile.  I hope one day you will post your story. Would love to read it. If I can be of any help, just let me know. :)  ~Kim

Hi Kim

LOVED this story the first time I read it on the 2018 hiftexchange and was thrilled to read it againit here, with the addition of those marvelous pics.  Brian and Justin sure had a well deserved vacation. Thank you so much for taking us there again.

Oh and I LOVE how Brian drank fresh guave juice *g*

Take care

TTYS

Author's Response:

Hi, Vered! Thank you for the comments! And yes, I figured 'guavejuice' would appreciate that - ha!  BTW, I got your emails and will respond ASAP.  But it's after 11:00 pm here and I'm beat, so I'm off to bed. Thank you for reading, my friend.  XOXO  ~Kim

Thanks for the little winter escape to the topics, LOL! Even if it only was an imaginary trip!

I like how Brian is sorting out his priorities... with Justin at the top of the list. :-)

Author's Response:

Thank you, Trish!  I wish I was down there right now.  My research got me thinking I'd like to see this country, especially with all this cold weather here!  Thanks for reading, and for the comments, my friend.  ~Kim

Aw that was so sweet and just the tonic for Brian and Justin to face the next year of changes together

Author's Response:

Thank you, Chris! I'm happy that you enjoyed it. :)  I wish they had spent more time on this time in the series, as well as the cancer arc. Thanks for reading and for the feedback!  ~Kim

Aw, what a great little chapter!!!   If only Brian and Justin had taken a nice litte vacation after the whole Stockwell fiasco.   It sure would have been needed.    But I am glad that Brian just took Justin with him instead of it being everybody in the gang.   This was something that after all Brian had been through with everything going on, he didn't need a bunch of other people around - just Justin.

Author's Response:

Thank you, Sarah!  I'm very happy you enjoyed it. :)  I had to keep it to 10,000 words, which you probably know is difficult for me to do - LOL!  Thank you for reading, and for taking the time to comment; I greatly appreciate that.  ~Kim
