This was a very good start to what looks like a very promising story. It looks like this is your first attempt into writing fanfiction. I'm impressed; it's very enjoyable. Turning Brian into a father of three teenage boys (two coming-of-age) is a nice plot. And bringing Melanie in to fight for Justin's kids, will be rewarding for Justin.
Thank you for sharing this story for us. Looking forward to your next chapter. Is your story pretty much written, or you writing it chapter to chapter?
