So basically, Sam has always been 'a character' nice! lol love these flashback stories of yesteryear Brian's family tells! The whole picking a name for Sam/Josh's son-hysterical! Then, on to the adventures of Justin the spy lmao! So great! Cynthia wanting to get a front row seat for the fireworks, hahahahaha! 

Yeah, Brian is definitely going to have a heart attack after Justin tells him about Sam, Josh & the babies moving in!

So many great things happening in this chapter.  I love how Sam knew she was supposed to have two kids and that the other one was down the hall.  The highlight of the chapter was the whole meeting at Kinnetik.  I loved the scene from beginning- ( Justin finding Brian's password) to the end where everyone is relieved to have Justin working there.  Great job and I especially love that you posted three chapters so close together.  Love, love this story and so happy that you are writing again.

Glad all is well with Sam and baby Emma, and loved the surprise about the new baby boy as well!!   Sam has been looking to have a big family for years, naturally or by adoption, so this just worked out perfectly for her.    

Now, I'm just wondering what is going on with Justin.   Something's been a little off with him for the last couple of chapters...   I can't wait to see what happens next!!!

Wonderful chapter! The prank they did on Brian was absolutely hilarious! I hope they really take a picture at that point, after putting all this efforts on those costumes. Ideally with Brian scolding in it! You really created the ideal family in this story, they are fun and loving and so united. Reading that after Christmas, I am so jealous. Mine is so uptight and snobbish, and kind of condescending (I can say that here, I’m not recognizable 😉). I also love the length that Cynthia went to make them feel welcome and at home.

I wonder what Ethan is up to exactly, what does he expect to accomplish by dating Eric (he obviously has an agenda)? To come back to the family theme, I don’t think he realize what he is up against! Eric is practically family for Jay and in this big family, when people bound together against someone who is doing wrong toward one of theirs, that person has no chances! We saw that with Chris Hobbes.

I just have a question at that point, what is Justin’s legal situation? You mention here Craig’s lawsuit, but what about the criminal charges, has it been abandoned? Maybe I missed something in the previous chapter, but if not that would be nice to know where they stand exactly regarding that. And I can’t wait for the actual Christmas chapter! Keep on the good work! 😃

Got your note. All is well on my end. How about you? Have to say I was doing a happy dance when I saw this update. I can't cound how many times's I've read this story all the way through. 

I found myself chuckling often in this when you wee describing Brian's frustrations with Christmas. A part of me wanted to get upset 'cause you know....IT"S CHRISTMAS!!!! but honestly...the images in my head were just too darn funny. The family photo prank??? omg...nearly peed. 

Eric and Ethan???? Wow. That came right out of left field. Didn't see that coming at all! What a twist! Is Ethan actually up to something? So strange how family members are getting or were involved with people in Justin's past. Chris and now Ethan. Small world. Not trusting Ethan. Was he aware prior to dating Eric and figured Eric was his in or is this just coincidence? One I'm sure he'll take full advantage of. He obviously hasn't changed a bit.

What an amazing surprise to find a new update of your story!!! 🎉👍🤗 It's really one of my favorite qaf fic, a really complexe and beautiful story with interesting original characters. It made me want to re-read it again from the beginning! 

Again in this chapter, you made us go through such a range of emotions! There was really emotional moments and also excellent humorous ones. The discussion around Sam's hemorrhoids was just hysterical! She one of my all time favorite original characters, full of humor but hiding much more debt behind it.

I'm glad the situation with Justin is getting better, although there was no development about the juridical aspect of it, what's up with that? For the moment, it's merely about keeping his head above water, but I think him working on some things in therapy could make for interesting storylines in the futur.

I must admit I was hoping that what happened in the previous chapters would close the anti-Michael storyline that I'm not a fan of, it's actually the only aspect of your story that I don't like. I'm not a fan of character bashing in general, but it especially threw me off here because Michael was perfectly normal for a good part of the first story, so that took me of gard when it took a 180i0;turn. I suppose it's ok since a lot of readers like that, but personally I can't help thinking there is so much interesting and original things in that story that this is not that necessary... Just felt the need to say that, but feel free to ignore me!

I hope you'll be able to update soon, although the length of the chapters are really making up for the delay. I understand of much time it must take to write a text that long!

So many emotions and my god the pain is so strong, I don't know how anyone can cope with it. I was on the edge of my seat reading this and more tears if course.

Looking for an update on your story, I read that you have a little bit of a block right now. It's something I understand, I'm not a fic author (just a reader), but I'm writing a lot of academic papers and the fear of blank page is my worst enemy! So if you don't mind, I have a couple ideas... Feel free to get inspired or completely ignore them if they are not in your line of tought, I wont't be upset!

First, concerning the current situation with Justin, I don't think that the legal action against him should go really far. Not only does he has a lot of extenuating circumstances, but the psychological trauma he is in should not be difficult to prove, plus he was physically ill, running a really high fever that litterally made him passe out, which is documented by his medical record. I really don't see any prosecutor going ahead with that. I think an avenue could be that the action could be drop in exchange of an engagement of seeking psychological help. That would open interesting avenues because Justin had go through a lot of really traumatic events in his life and he always bounce back and get on with his life, but never got to really sort it out. So that make sense that he kind of reach his breaking point now and needs professional help. That can also provide interesting storylines regarding his relationship with Brian because supporting Justin in this process would put him really out of his comfort zone...

Second, I must admit that I hope that the discussion between Brian and Michael at the hospital will be a real wake-up call for him and be the end of the anti-Michael storyline... I'm personally not a fan of character bashing, althought I know that a lot of readers like it. The thing is that Michael was perfectly normal until around the last few chapters of your first story, so I don't think he should turn into a monster. However, I think the road of redemption should be difficult for him. He would have to realize he has to do a lot of work on himself and on his relationships (starting with his marriage) to regain the trust of the people around him. Obviously, things could never go back the way they were, but I think there should be hope there.

Last thing, I think that would be interesting to see a discussion between Brian and Theresa regarding her attitude toward Sawyer. Not that I think he should get involved in their relationship and try to get them back together, but I think that could be useful for her if Brian would share with her his own experience. Hear me out... I see a lot of Brian in Theresa regarding that aspect, I think they are really similar. She seems to me to be pushing Sawyer away because of a fear of change, the way she lives her life being if not completely happy, at least comfortable on an emotionnal level. I think she is as much afraid of happiness that she is of failure and hurt, all of this being jumping in the unknown... At least, that is my interpretation and it seems to me having a lot in common with Brian's attitude toward Justin before their reunion. So that could be good for her to hear about that and about how good and more in peace Brian feels since he stopped fighting it and just let it happens.

So that's about it! I hope it can help you a little bit. In any case, I want to say that I absolutely love this universe you created and I hope to be able to continue reading stories about it for a long time!

When I discovered the story, I binged the first in the series and streight through to the next.  You have made the character very believable.  I especially loved the scenes with the drunk/high Justin.
