Great story. I felt sorry for Paul. To life with a father who hate him. Hoping that he would love him and be proud of him. What he did, he knew it was wrong. But he found the courage to tell Brian where he could find them. And to come to the hospital to say I'm sorry, you've to be very brave for a nine year old boy..
i hope you will write a sequel. I think this story deserves it.

I have to say I've really taken a shine to Paul while writing the story. At first I didn't even think much about it, I just wanted to include Hobbs son in this story. I think you're right that he's a pretty amazing boy and quite thoughtful for someone his age. Luckily he's found a loving home at Debbie's now.
I will definitely think about writing a sequel :)

I really love the entire story and I love the epilogue.
I'm happy that everyone seemed to get just fine after those tragical times. I was surprised to see Paul living with Debbie but he will be great in this family.
I love to see Justin and JR being so close. I think it definitively helps Justin to move on.
And of course, our beautiful couple with an amazing and caring Brian.

Oh this is a brilliant ending to this story. I'm so glad that Paul found a loving home I was worried about him. I love how JR is close with Justin and that Gus is ok. Brian and Justins love is strong and you show it beautifully.

I have relished every word of this story, Sarah! So much excitement, danger, love, and angst combined. You did an excellent job with this one. I love the relationship of Brian and his son. I always thought that Brian could be an amazing father.
Poor Paul, it's sad to know how he feels but it doesn't surprising, regarding who his father is.

Hi, Sarah! I was beyond thrilled to see this story updated. I have found this story so absorbing from the first chapter, land it remains so. I always thought that Paul would be the key to finding them, and I'm so glad that despite his fears regarding his father's wrath that he did the right thing. God help Chris now that Brian is about to know where his son and lover are!
BTW, having Justin tell Chris he was HIV positive to thwart his sexual assault was brilliant. I could definitely see him reacting that way.
There are so many things I adore about this story, and how you evoke such emotion with your writing, but I'm having to type this with one hand (broke my right last week) that it will have to wait for now. Love this story, but will hate to see it end!

Danke for this story. That is about the extent on my German. My Grandmother's maiden name was Schmitt. She would use German words with us when we were kids. We thought it was neat. I'm sad that Brian couldn't discover any clues to where Justin & Gus were being held. Glad that he punched Hobbs!!
