This story is almost as funny as the King Schmidt work.  But it tells a more involved story, so that makes them both equal in "goodness" in by book.

And maybe the reviewer that said Brian's giving Michael his babies should read the whole story. Just a thought.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much! This one has more heart than Schmidt's the Shit, that's for sure, even if they are both crack. I'm glad you enjoy them both. :)

She probably should I think she would be happy with the ending if she did read it all ;) Thank you for reading and reviewing!

What? You can't expect Brian to give Michael, what I assume is Justin's and Brian's children... That would be so wrong... ~ Kathleen

Author's Response:

You might want to finish the story if you think that is what happens. ;) There's a happy ending, don't worry.

This was a wondrous bet of silliness with great heart and a top drawer conclusion.  Maybe crack fic is the author's calling.

Author's Response:

Aw! That's too sweet. I do enjoy a good humor/crack fic, I can't deny that. I love my angst too though. It's hard to choose. I will keep writing both in order to stay balanced but hopefully I come up with another cracky idea soon! Thank you for reading and reviewing!

The detailed account you give of Michal and Ben's bathtime routine  was adorable,  and totally in character for this couple.  Most funny was the reference to Ben putting "stuff" in his hair.  And Michael having Lindsay teach him how to braid hair,  so cute.

All the children of both parents seem to have a little something extra.  Maybe these kids,  will forever be united in some slight freakisness.  But in a good way of course.

Maybe I missed something,  but I'm a little stymied as to why Brian has to trounce off to Hawaii for both births. But  then again,  why not go off to a tropical island?

The  ducks now having lots of children and now grandchildren was a nice update.  In a few years Ben andMichael will probably have a large oversized flock visiting them.  Then Eli and Monty will really have somehting to be "jealous" about.

The end with Ben giving his blessing to Michael to go off and be birds with his children is so like Ben.  Ben's patience  with his husband and bizzaar  family situation and Michael's determination to help his boys in any way he can, is a touching testament to their bond as a family.

l have enjoyed and appreciated this story not only featuring Michael and Ben.  I hope you are inspired to write more of them in the future. But if not,  at least we have this crazy little crack tale.

Author's Response:

Aw, thank you so much for this kind review! I'm sorry I am just getting around to answering these now. :) I was proud of Ben and Michael's relationship with the triplets. They have their hands full but they do all that they can to make their kids happy.

The kids do have something extra! Michael and Ben's boys are shifters and there's definitely something going on with Freya. Not sure what but she has some magic to her for sure.

I think Brian wanted seclusion for his pregnancies and to be as relaxed as possible. He did not want anyone seeing him as a pregnant man. He's a well known person in Pittsburgh so it might draw a lot of attention. A private villa was something he could afford and I'm sure Justin loved the getaways as well. ;)

Haha, yes! The Apollonia, Betty, and Hubert definitely will have a huge family and their yard will be filled with ducks from time to time. It is Apollonia and Betty's home base, after all.

Ben has wonderful patience. I think that's his gift, as well as Sophia's: Patience, love, and understanding. Michael and the boys are lucky.

I am so glad you enjoyed this story. I have aa few other funny fics out there as well! It's All A Mystery, Schmidt's the Shit, Who's Your Daddy, and Mr. Taylor-Kinney-Chanders is some that do come to mind. And of course there are more to come. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Babies galore for all the boys,  and for all the ducks too!   The only thing I don't like about this story is that it's over.

Author's Response:

Aw, thank you so much for the kind review! I had so much fun writing this story. :)

Reviewer: harris87 (Anonymous) · Date: November 02, 2015 01:08 AM · On: Epilogue

I loved the little insight on  Michael with his boys.  Also good waa the inclusion of Brian and Justin in Michael abd Ben's lives.  This should be a given but unforunately so often isn't.  Good job with all the gang.

Author's Response:

Aw, thank you! I'm glad you liked the Epilogue and the Brian/Justin subplot. I believe that the four of them are close. I would love to see more stories give this relationship a bigger role. :)

New babies (duck and human), shifting, and love. Lol!! I enjoyed the hell out of this story and aww'd and laughed my ass off! Thank you for such an enjoyable ride this past month. I hope to read more stories from you, and I need to catch up on your other ones! xo

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked it so much! I am finally getting around to the later reviews now and want to thank you for reading this! Hope you enjoy the other stories I have and the ones I have planned. :)

That was one completely crazy one LOL. Love how you portray Michael here, so refreshing! Thank you :)

Author's Response:

It was ridiculous, right? Water births, ducks, grandducks, twins, triplets, PLANNED mpreg. But people had been asking me to write mpreg. This was the only way I was going to do it. And besides, I had fun making Michael and Ben the main characters.

Thank you for reading and reviewing, Alois!

Reviewer: Toto_too514 (Anonymous) · Date: November 01, 2015 02:13 PM · On: Epilogue

Wow! A LOT going on here! Where DO you come up with the names for the characters, human, duck and in-between?!?!?!?!

I'm glad everyone is having a happy ever after in their own crazy mixed-up way.

Author's Response:

Most of it comes from the top of my head, except for the twins' names, who are named after Mythological Gods and Goddesses. Dylan (Welsh God) Eros (Greek God) and Freya (Norse Goddess) Maeve (Irish Goddess) were both researched. I knew about Freya and that I wanted their daughter named that but the rest came down to looking up names. As for the triplets, I wanted them to do matching letter names "accidentally" and went with Michael's family's names for middle names on two of them. Caroline Astor was another "at the top of my head" sort of thing. I always liked the name Caroline and Astor means star so I thought that sort of fit in with her siblings, due to the names of many constellations. I named her Caroline because when I imagined the kids growing up, I imagined her looking like Caroline from the Vampire Diaries, who is tall, blonde, and has green eyes.

The ducks were all at the top of my head except for Apollonia, who Michael's first wife in The Godfather, Part I. I just like that name and it's one I never see lol.

They are definitely happy in their crazy world! Brian has really taken to breastfeeding and full-time parenting lolol. But whatever, as long as he's happy. And, while I'm sure Sophia is a little jealous, she will help Ben by keeping the peace in their shifter family.

Thank you for reading and reviewing, Toto! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The epilogue becan with Michael and his boys and finished with Michael and his boys.  The ending couldn't get any better.

Interesting and enjoyable story. It's so far out of canon I was not sure at first, but I have enjoyed each chapter. Thank you for posting.

Author's Response:

Glad you liked this crazy crack fic! I tend to serve my far out comedy with a side of angst so I'm sure it comes off as whiplash for some people. But it was fun to write so I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Reviewer: Nichelle Wellesly (Signed) · Date: November 01, 2015 04:50 AM · On: Epilogue

Now you KNOW I am far from a Michael fan but this fic was absolutely wonderful! It made me laugh, tear up and then laugh again. I'm glad everything worked out for everyone and they all adapted to the growing trials of parenthood... LOL The kids were absolutely adorable even when they were fighting (which I know would have driven me nuts). A thoroughly enjoyable read, Annie!! Great Job!

~Nichelle

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked this crazy crack fic, Nichelle! Michael can be a fun character to write about when you let go of his behavior in the past (and turn him into a duck lolololol.) Everything did end up working out for the best and they are one big happy family. :) The kids and ducks add to the craziness but I'm sure the gang wouldn't want it any other way.

As for those boys, they DO drive Michael crazy. He found two grey hairs. TWO.

Thanks for reading and reviewing, Nichelle! This one was fun to write and it was fun to see the reactions as well (especially the ones on Ao3 who are taking the story seriously. I find that truly hilarious but also a little flattering.)

Author's Response:

Yes, they do! And his other three human ones aren't so bad either. ;) Thank you for reading and reviewing!

How perfect an ending.  You capture the kids perfectly.  All of them.  And we get to see the boys change into ducklings.  How cool.

Author's Response:

Haha, thank you! And yes, the boys have shown that they do take after their father. Michael and Ben will be on their toes with them but they have Sophia to help out. ;) Thank you for reading and reviewing!

 This story is AWESOME!

Reviewer: harris87 (Anonymous) · Date: October 21, 2015 06:21 PM · On: Chapter 5

It's a real breath of fresh air that a few writers in this fandom can manage to break out of the Michael hate mode.  And not only that,  but show respect for the friendship between Michael and Brian.  Thank you for this.

Reviewer: ferris (Anonymous) · Date: October 20, 2015 12:59 AM · On: Chapter 5

Michael siring three babies is a big development for someone who has never been a full time father at all.  But with fertility drugs and invitro it's a real possibility even in the non crack world.  And and Michael's trepidation at raising three children is also very believable.

Really enjoyed Brian saying that he and Michale are fellow freaks. And that this binds them together even more.  It's a shame that more writers don't appreciate the closness these two have together.

I'm not sure I totally buy Brian being overprotective to the point that he puts Debbi to shame.  And even if he were such a mother hen,  I see Brian as trying to hide it.  But that's just my opinion.

The blow by blow of the births was touching as well as funny.  This is a great combination that's seldom done well on this subject.

The bit about the lesbian ducks was a bit unexpected,  though in hindsight it shouldn't have been.  It's good that Michael and Ben have taken steps to protect the ducks,  as there are a lot of dangers out there for these birds.  And these dangers will also apply to Michael and his sons.

I'm a big Ben and Michael fan,  but also like the Brian and Michael friendship.  So the ending,  with Brian comforting Michael over his daughter  was a little bit heartwarming for me.

Reviewer: hofee33 (Anonymous) · Date: October 19, 2015 01:10 AM · On: Chapter 5

Ben and Michael are so wonderful together. which was the best thing about a good story.   But lesbian ducks and future changling babies were other pluses.

Reviewer: gotb30 (Signed) · Date: October 19, 2015 01:04 AM · On: Chapter 5

Wow, what an amazing chapter. I love that you included everyone in it, with both sets of kids and even Betty and Appollonia, lol. I wish this story would be much longer, but only because I'm enjoying it so much. :D

Babies, more babies & ducklings! What more could anyone want in a Fic???? The is seriously the most fun & creative story. I'm having so much fun reading it!

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: October 18, 2015 05:47 PM · On: Chapter 5

So much going on here, what with lesbian ducks and births.  It was wonderful to finally get the birthing over and learning times, weights and sizes!  That Brian is having a hard time letting his babies out of his sight is not surprising.  As for Mikey - triplets!  Where will they keep them all when they get older?  Can't wait to find out if Mikey can control his inner duck and when the little ones start shifting.

Author's Response:

Lesbian ducks and births are key to making an everlasting story, didn't you know that? ;)

Brian, Justin, Michael, and Ben have their babies now! A bit low in birth weights since they are all multiples but all of them are healthy (with the slight exception of Sophia but she will be okay in a week or so.) Brian has become a total Mama Bear. Hopefully he can loosen up in the next year or so lol. As for Michael, I'm thinking the triplets will have the same room for a while but they might have to move to a bigger house down the street (and create yet another pond lol) when they get older.

I think Michael is a pretty talented guy and he may take to his shifting abilities better than expected! Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Reviewer: Nichelle Wellesly (Signed) · Date: October 18, 2015 10:49 AM · On: Chapter 5

This was WONDERFUL!! I have to admit... Even though I was laughing at the womens' reaction to Brian's bounce-back body, as a mom of two I was also glaring...LOL It just couldn't be helped! Protective, Helicopter-Parent Brian made me laugh out loud and brought back a lot of nostalgic moments for me. And yes... I had a few teary moments as a result.

I loved how you captured everything to paint the picture of both births. They were touching and heartfelt. Even Mel was less abrasive than usual.

I also actually don't mind reading Michael's POV in this fic. Usually I cringe whenever I'm let into his head or something comes out of his mouth (it happens especially while I'm writing) but I couldn't stop smiling through this chapter!

Great Job as ALWAYS, Annie!!

~Nichelle

Author's Response:

Aw, thanks Nichelle! I'm glad you liked it. I would be pissed that Brian's body just bounced back to normal too and I haven't had children yet! Brian is not only giving into his instincts when it comes to his babies, but he's diving head-first into them lol.

The births were very emotional moments for the family so I felt they need to be covered as such. And, as much as Mel and Brian butt heads, she was just as worried as the rest of them when he was pushing and will love those kids too. :)

Lol! I know some writers/readers/viewers have mixed feelings about Michael but he has a lot of good points so I try to bring those out in my story. I was very annoyed with him in season 1 while he was with Dave and how he got petty with Justin at times but none of us are perfect lol.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing, Nichelle! Hope to get the epilogue up soon!

Reviewer: Aliada (Signed) · Date: October 09, 2015 09:06 PM · On: Chapter 4

What a great chapter! It so good to see that everything worked out well!

I should admit, I was a little scared for Brian and Justin - everything seemed so difficult between them. I thought that Brian would resist longer. It seems like pregnancy affects him in a good way :)

I liked Brian's conversation with Michael - it was both meaningful and hilarious. They understood each other so well that Michael's quacks almost didn't seem strange :)

The ending was wonderful. Brian and Justin's decision to leave Pittsburg is a good thing, they definitely need to have a rest after all those stressful - crazy - events.

Thank you for this update! Looking forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked it! I think Brian realizes that, while he is probably capable of doing this alone, he doesn't want to. He knows Justin has every right to be around their children and also knows that he still wants him. Now he'll get to have him full-time. ;)

When it comes down to it, Brian and Michael will always be best friends. They will be there for each other no matter what and have an understanding for each other that can't be replaced. The species barrier won't get in their way.

They definitely do need to rest. Brian needs to avoid stress and being around a city who knows him will only stress him out more. This way he can spend the rest of his pregnancy in peace lol.

Next chapter is now up and it's a long one! I hope you enjoy the rest of the story!

I read Intersect and I knew I liked you, we started chatting and I was like, "this girl is awesome," I read this and I think I love you. You're nuts, but on the bestest level. I can't even pin point my favourite part of this chapter as the entire thing had me cracking up. The group hug - the high level of crime and the ducks in Miami being crazy... seriously, this is made of win!

I am so happy Brian has seen sense, he can't do this without Justin. THE BABIES NEED TWO DADDIES.

Author's Response:

Lolol, I am just answering this now but what are you talking about, woman? This is the sanest story I have ever written.

But for real, those Miami ducks are a handful and who wouldn't want a group hug with a brace of ducks? hahaha

And yes, Brian has seen the light. He and Justin are going to make very happy parents. ;)

Thank you for reading and reviewing, Sally!

So, finally, I'm in. You always amazed me with your talent of imagination, but I must say that this one promise to be hilarious. How do you do it? If I had even a fraction of your imagination, I would be over the moon. Seriously! Well, I love Ben's love for Michael shining through this chapter. So good. Off to read the next chapter :)

Author's Response:

Lol! Thanks, Alois! That means a lot. There's some aspects of this story I told myself I would never do, but I decided to poke fun at a couple of genres (because I don't think I could write a serious story revolving around some concepts in this) and see how it went. I hope you like this crazy and off the wall story!

Reviewer: gotb30 (Signed) · Date: October 04, 2015 06:18 PM · On: Chapter 4

The quacking conversations were pretty hilarious, and Ben insisting on feeding Michael and his friends healthy food was great. Brian's origin was perfect, it explains the hedonism, Lol. I'm glad that he and Justin are back together and will be away from the Pitts so Brian won't have to worry about how he looks with the pregnancy. I like Mysterious Marilyn every time she pops up in a story, she doesn't disappoint here. You once again managed to make the story funny and touching at the same time. I'm happy that there are more chapters and am enjoying this story very much! Lol :)

Author's Response:

Thank you so much! Writing the duck characters can be very enjoyable so I'm glad you think they're funny. And of course Ben makes sure Michael and his friend's are eating healthy food. He feels a strong need to protect them all, especially Michael. I had to figure out some crazy yet sensible reason to excuse Brian's condition and Dionysus seemed like the most logical way to do that. It'll be good for Brian and Justin to get away for a while. That way they can just focus on each other and their unborn children lol. Mysterious Marilyn is such an odd but fun character. I wouldn't have minded seeing more of her. Hope you enjoy the rest of the story! Thank you for reading and reviewing! :)

Reviewer: ferris (Anonymous) · Date: October 03, 2015 06:31 PM · On: Chapter 4

Loved tha adoration and devotion Ben has for Michael. But  the way Michael did his best to be their for his best friend was almost more moving.

Author's Response:

Ben loves his partner and that will never change. He may have a different body but still has the same soul so he will treat him as his husband (minus the physical aspect of the relationship, of course.) Michael knew how scared Brian had to be over the pregnancy so he did his very best to be there for his best friend. I think Brian really appreciated it. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Reviewer: Nichelle Wellesly (Signed) · Date: October 03, 2015 04:45 AM · On: Chapter 4

I LOVE this story!!! Adding the history of Dionysus was pure GENIUS. After all it's only fitting that Brian should descend from a Greek god! I seem to be loving all things Marilyn lately! She's definitely a pisser but a gem in situations like this. I can't believe that I am actually going to type this but I'm glad Michael is back to being human...and I love the fact that he won't lose his new friends in the process. Also happy that he and Ben will have the child they want!

I will be so sorry to see this end but I will be happily rereading this one for some time to come! Great Job as always!

Author's Response:

I'm glad you are enjoying this so much, Nichelle! I went back and forth between gods but Dionysus was the most prominent male god that represented fertility. I was going to go into Joan's religious mania and Jack's alcoholism (as well as Joan's) to make Dionysus believe that they were the ideal candidates to make his incarnation but I decided not to get too incredibly complicated lol. And of course he descends from a Greek God! Justin was right all along! Marilyn is a fun character. She added such a quirky aspect to the show. Despite QAF being set in the real world, characters like her and the ghost Emmett talks to at the fairy retreat give it this very occasional supernatural aspect where you go, "Where the hell did that come from?" But I love it lol.

Michael is back! And I couldn't let the ducks just waddle out of his life. Even though their lifespan is a lot shorter than his, they will be friends until the day they are old and frail. :) Everyone will be happy by the end of this story but I will throw a little bit more drama their way. It'll be the good and silly kind though. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Reviewer: Toto_too514 (Anonymous) · Date: October 03, 2015 03:45 AM · On: Chapter 4

I'm almost embarrassed to admit how much this line - “Quack! Quack quack quack quack! Quack quack quack quack quack quack quack quack. Quack quack quack. Quack. Quack! Quack quack quack quack quack!” Michael tells his friend passionately because he really needs to hear it." - made me laugh.

Wonderfully creative story!

Author's Response:

I was proud of that line. I just let myself go and feel as I wrote the words. It took time to decide which words would properly display Michael's lovely protective and passionate spirit, but I think I did an okay job with this. ;)

Glad you are enjoying it, Toto! Thank you for reading and reviewing!

It's an interesting concept for shape shifting, which usually involves fancier animals.

Add an old fashioned God and an mpreg and a Guy/gal to translate for them and you get an unusual but intriguing story.

Author's Response:

But ducks can both swim and fly! You can't get much more fancier than that. ;)

I'm glad you liked the oddities in this story! Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Everythings working out okay.  Mikey's back, the kids are coming back, Mikey and Ben are going to have a baby!  Maybe the gang can go visit while Brian and Justin are in Hawaii.

Author's Response:

Everything is starting to calm down now, even though they are all in for a different kind of adventure. Yes! Ben and Michael are going to get what they are dreaming of! The gang will definitely be there for the end of Brian's pregnancy and the birth of the twins. I'm sure the couple of weeks they are there they will have a nice time with him and Justin but also get to go sightseeing a bit too. :) Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Ha! That's quite an impressive duck lineage Michael has! And he was adorable as a duckling, LOL!

Yeah, I kinda knew Justin had knocked up Brian... but twins?!?!? You're mean! Curious as to "what happened last time."

Author's Response:

It is definitely a detailed lineage. His ancestors should be proud of their documentation. ;) And yes! Michael was an adorable duckling! Would you expect anything less?

I can be quite cruel, I know. But it just means double the joy in the long run! ;) Since you've already read the chapter just posted a while ago and I am seriously late on this review, I know you know the answer to this question now. It is something that did deeply trouble Brian for a while so he is being very cautious. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Reviewer: ferris (Anonymous) · Date: September 29, 2015 11:42 PM · On: Chapter 3

I am so into this story.  And while not usually an mpreg fan,  Brian's delicate condition only adds to this party.

Here's an evil thought. Brian's condition means he could have actually accomodated Michael without the need of doner eggs, though it's doubtful Ben would have sat still for that.

Author's Response:

I'm not usually much of an mpreg fan either, unless it's extremely well-written or it's crack. I don't think I could keep a straight face while writing a serious mpreg story so I decided to write a piece where I didn't have to. Of course, this story does mainly revolve around the very serious situation of Michael being a duck. ;)

Oh, of course he could have had a child with Michael. ;) So could the women technically. I think Ben and Michael were going the donor egg and surrogate route so they could easily be primary parents while the mother and/or surrogate could play important roles but ultimately not be the parents. If Michael would impregnate a woman, she could easily change her mind about things. Same with Brian, I guess too lol. But you are right Ben wouldn't have been happy with Brian being the other biological father of the child. I think Justin would be even more pissed off about it. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Off-beat but interesting story. Given what's on TV, guess the only reason mpreg has not hit TV is lack of good LGBT programs.

I'm ready for your next chapter!

Author's Response:

Hey, you can find Mpreg if you look hard enough! ;)

Also, Arnold in the movie Junior is a pregnant male. I think it is just such an off the wall topic and it would have to be a sci-fi and/or ridiculous comedy for writers to consider putting it on television.

I'm glad you are ready. I will try to get it written soon! Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Such drama and angst... Lol!! Poor Michael, missing his kids. Since Brian is not available as a surrogate, it will be interesting to see how he and Ben solve their shape shifting duck problem. :) Poor Brian... twins! Something tells me that Justin will be moving home asap! I'm thoroughly entertained and can hardly wait until the next chapter!! :D

Author's Response:

They're the best genres to make fun of! Michael is definitely missing his children. Even though Brian isn't available, I'm sure Brian will help figure out a way for Michael and Ben to get another candidate. After he gets over his embarrassment and horror over being pregnant with twins. ;) Justin will definitely be very firm about being there for Brian and their unborn children. I'm glad you are enjoying the story! Thank you for reading and reviewing!

ROTFL!  I think you just broke the crack fic.  LOVING IT!

Author's Response:

Nah, I'm just bending the rules a little ;) Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Reviewer: Titenano (Signed) · Date: September 28, 2015 06:05 PM · On: Chapter 3

How cute is that little ducking lol.

Poor Brian, lol I wanted to hug him. Come on Justin make it all better!

“What is it?” Justin speaks up, “We need to know what emotion is causing Michael to turn into a duck. That way we can fix it.”

That line cracked me up. I don't know, I just imagined Justin in queer as folk saying this.

Author's Response:

He's adorable. I want to hold him and raise him as my own. What's one more pet? ;)

Brian is going through a tough time right now. After Justin gets over his anger and shock, he will definitely try to get Brian to see how much of a blessing this is. lolol

Justin is ready to get down to business with that line, isn't he? Thank you for reading and reviewing, Titenano!

So Michael comes by his shifting honestly.  I love shifter stories, but now we have Brian pregnant!  Two great story lines in one.  If Brian does carry a baby for Ben and Mikey, is the kid going to be a shifter?

Author's Response:

It's ingrained in him, what can I say? Two odd storylines in one is more like it! XD But I am glad you think they're great. I'm not sure what would happen in that scenario. If he carried it and Michael's sperm produced a son, there's a high chance of it. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

My lord, this is the weirdest story I've ever read :D The picture of the small duck!Michael is übersweet. But poor Brian - I don't wish an unwanted pregnancy to anyone. Especially to someone so obsessed about his image and looks. At least now Justin knows what's going on - that's good. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Author's Response:

I feel you, Astrid. It's the weirdest story I've ever written (although It's All A Mystery is pretty freaking weird too.) I cooed when I found that picture. It definitely screams BabyDuck!Michael. Poor Brian, indeed. He will love the children. They are Justin's as well after all. But the thought of him going through with this terrifies him. Justin does know. After getting over his shock and anger, he will take care of Brian. Glad you like this, Astrid! Thank you for reading and reviewing!

LOL!!!! WOW! What an elaborate and enchanting tale! Michael semi-sort of has his fondest wish of being supernatural. I suppose it explains his fixation of comics to the family.

Marilyn is a pisser but I have to admire her tenacity in exposing Brian's  secret! Just please, please PLEASE don't tell me he's going to give one of the babies to Michael to raise...PLEASE please please don't do that to me...LOL I couldn't take it. I suppose that Brian and Justin are about to have one helluva fight now but a talk I'm pretty sure is long overdue. Wait...I wonder how Lindsey's going to feel about all this *evil grin and rubbing hands* LOL

Can't wait for MORE!!!

~Nichelle

Author's Response:

Michael definitely imagined having superpowers, although I don't think this is what he had in mind. ;) But hey, beggers can't be choosers.

Marilyn really is a sassy and manipulative lady but she does have Brian's best interest at heart since he is going through with the pregnancy. You'll find out what he was going to do when he and Justin get into it so that'll be amusing. He can't separate the babies, even if they would grow up closely. He'd be more likely to give both of them to Michael and Ben rather than just Ben. ;) lolol. I don't think Justin would stand for that though. We will fid out the fate of all involved soon. Thanks for reading and reviewing, Nichelle!

This is a very fun read even if I have learned more about duck sex than I ever wanted to know.

Ben and Michael are wonderful together.  They bring out the best in the other, especially Ben for Michael.

Author's Response:

How could you not want to learn about duck sex? It's one of the main subjects you should know along with reading, writing, and arithmetic. ;)

I really love Ben and Michael together too and I agree, they bring out a lot of good in each other. Ben helped Micheal grow as an individual. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Reviewer: Aliada (Signed) · Date: September 26, 2015 01:15 AM · On: Chapter 2

Oh, that was interesting!

I'm glad that Justin arrived. Brian is so cold now, yet it's obvious that he's tense and nervous at the same time. Undoubtedly, Justin will need all the strength he can get, this isn't going to be easy for him. I wonder how everything turns out.

Michael's story gets more and more intriguing. The meeting with ducks was hilarious! It's really original and unusual. I didn't expect that the ducks would actually believe him and even try to help. He's lucky to have them by his side - however crazy it might sound :)

Wow, Debbie is intuitive. I suspected that she might be the one to recognise her son, but definitely not so fast. She really impressed me!

Thank you for the update! Looking forward to the next one!

Author's Response:

Justin is definitely persistent and knows something is up with Brian. He's worried and he's pissed off. And Michael is definitely having quite the adventure. Even though he is desperate to be human again, he loves his new friends. ;) They are very supportive in his quest. You will find out why Debbie knows that Michael is Michael next chapter, which I just posted several hours ago! Thank you for reading and reviewing!

To Toto_too514:

I totally meant a very long history of strange and disturbing sex lives. Not very long sex lives. I usually just let typos go but I had to fix this, whether you see it or not. :P

Reviewer: Toto_too514 (Anonymous) · Date: September 23, 2015 05:26 AM · On: Chapter 2

Ha! Who knew ducks were so talkative! I have to admit that I did NOT know about the darker side of the their sex life... otters, yes. Ducks no.

Really felt the panic from Ben and the rest of the family... interesting twist with Debbie seeming to know what's going on.

I also had to go back and re-read the first chapter, because I thought I had missed something regarding Brian & Justin. But apparently you're not ready to disclose that just yet... I have my suspicions, based on the scene with Brian being sick in the bathroom, but we'll see.

Author's Response:

They are immensely talkative and gossip loving creatures, aren't they? ;) But seriously, they have a very long sex life. I just looked up what otters did. Those poor baby seals! Nature is both fascinating and disturbing.

Ben is definitely worried sick right now and so is everyone else. Debbie does know! The tale of how this came to be will be revealed next chapter.

I'm being a little sneaky when it comes to what's going on with them, aren't I? Your suspicions are probably right but it will be revealed next chapter as well. :) Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Reviewer: gotb30 (Signed) · Date: September 23, 2015 04:02 AM · On: Chapter 2

As strange as this story is, I'm loving it in all its tragicomedy and originality. Did Debbie mate with a duck when she was younger? Did I just type that? LOL And what is up with Brian? If he's preggo, that would be the least bizarre thing in this brilliant story. You have the characterizations perfectly! Can't wait for the next chapter!! :D

Author's Response:

Aw, I'm glad you are liking this odd tale so much! As far as I know, Debbie has not mated with a duck. That would be one pretty dark secret. ;) It's okay to ask questions like this. Don't be ashamed for typing that lolol. As for Brian, you may be on to something! In comparison, his situation is definitely less bizarre than Michael's, although the reason why he is the way he is might be a bit strange. Thank you for reading and reviewing! :)

Reviewer: Nichelle Wellesly (Signed) · Date: September 22, 2015 06:47 PM · On: Chapter 2

I keep loving this!!! So much angst, drama and humor! Wow! And Debbie's response that she should have known- talk about best kept secrets. Now that the gang's all there, things are bound to get even crazier plus the gaggle of ducks (that Appollonia is a saucy mess already) and I can't wait!!

BTW...I LOLd at your warning at the beginning of the chapter. Weirdest warning indeed! Great job, Annie! Looking forward to the next update ofthis thoroughly enchanting tale!

~Nichelle

Author's Response:

Glad you are loving it, Nichelle! I feel like when I write crack, I develop a strong case of PMS and go all over the place in terms of emotions. I don't think people can claim Debbie can't keep a secret anymore, that's for sure! Those ducks are definitely fiesty. Apollonia is my favorite ;) She's pretty fierce and incredibly loyal to Betty.

When I was typing that warning I thought to myself, "Should I just leave it as is and not warn anyone?" But I decided against it. Better strange than sorry!

Thank you for reading and reviewing, Nichelle! It means a lot!

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: September 22, 2015 06:15 PM · On: Chapter 2

Okay, I figure we'll find out the how and why Michael was changed into a duck in another chapter when you explain how Debbie knew the duck was Michael.  Perhaps the kids will be able to talk with Michael?  Now what is going on with Brian and Justin?  If I didn't know better I'd think Brian was pregnant an pushing Justin away for some reason.  Another chapter soon might make things a little clearer ... or not.  lol

Author's Response:

You will find out about Michael's condition next chapter. Debbie has known for quite some time though. She figured it was just a phase. I don't know if the kids will be able to talk with Michael, but they will have a lot of fun with him!

As for Brian and Justin, you might want to go with your intuition. It's pretty spot on. ;)

The craziness of this story will be for every odd reasons, but those reasons will be explained. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Reviewer: Titenano (Signed) · Date: September 22, 2015 04:37 PM · On: Chapter 2

How do you manage to write this hilarious story but sill with some angst parts?

Ok I'm curious about Debbie and the duck. How does she know? Maybe it's not the first time Michael is Duck!Michael ( my new fav tag ;) )

And what's wrong with Brian? I have to admit I checked if you put a mpreg tag LOL

I think I won't see duck in the same way now.

Author's Response:

I just look at every emotion that this situation could bring and treat it with respect and dignity. ;) In this case, it's humor and angst lol

You may be onto something, Titenano! She does know more than meets the eye and she knows what her son look like when he's Duck!Michael (my new favorite tag too.)

I have not added an mpreg tag...yet. Next chapter though? You may see a couple of new tags in the mix. ;)

Ducks are very fascinating animals. Violent too. I researched them a while back and was shocked.

Thank you for reading and reviewing! It means a lot!

I like stories about all the Queer characters.   I particularly like Ben and Michael together.  So,  I like this a lot.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you like it, despite its oddities. I'm a fan of Ben and Michael together too. Hope you enjoy the last couple of chapters! Thank you for reading and reviewing!

It's always nice to see stories that focus on characters other than Brian and Justin even if it is crack. And I like Michael and Ben together too.
By the way, are you still taking requests/prompts for stories?

Author's Response:

I agree, Rixa. I have a serious story in mind for Michael and Ben too but I figured no one had written a crack piece about them so I went ahead and did this one. ;)

I am! It might take me a little while but I do still take requests. Just send it to me or post it on plotorclaim.livejournal.com. :) Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Oh my god, I haven't laughed this hard in a while. I felt bad being so amused while Ben was freaking out, but duck!Michael is hilarious! I guess he could write something in the dirt like "It's me" or something. :D Please write more. Hahhaha!!

Author's Response:

It's alright for laughing at Ben's distress. I do like to write angst and crack simultaneously, so it isn't your fault haha. Duck!Michael is quite a character. He will have quite an eye opening journey. And that's a pretty good idea, if he can get Ben around a patch of dirt XD I will definitely write more. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Reviewer: Tia (Anonymous) · Date: September 06, 2015 12:45 AM · On: Chapter 1

That was really....interesting. I get what you you mean about no one writes about Ben and Michael, so it was interesting to rea. I really liked it.

Author's Response:

Lol, well it isn't a very serious story but I did want to write a Ben/Michael story. So I'm glad you liked it. :)

Reviewer: Hotesse (Signed) · Date: September 05, 2015 12:49 AM · On: Chapter 1

Finally !!! It's time someone wrote Michael as a duck, he is a duck in the show all the time, they just did a fine job in the makeup department so he looks like a human. If you don't believe me check out how he walks.

The brother of my grandmother was a bit of a character to say the least. He used to say, all women are birds. Some of them are doves, and some of them are geese. But there is only one duck, and that is my Anna (his wife). Because of this I kind of always liked ducks better. They are pretty and smart. Like Anna.

Author's Response:

Of course he's a duck! All the best actors are!

Lol, youre great uncle sounded like quite a character. I like ducks too. They can swim and fly. Not many animals can do that. :) I hope you enjoy the rest of the story!

Reviewer: Toto_too514 (Anonymous) · Date: September 04, 2015 01:17 AM · On: Chapter 1

Ha! So good! So nice to read a Fic with a normal Michael & Ben... well until the duck transformation anyway, LOL! And if it's anything like "Mystery" I know we're in for a treat!

Oh, and how are the vampires doing????????

Author's Response:

I'm sure transforming into a duck is a normal thing for Michael. It just wasn't shown on the show! ;) I really did want to write a Michael/Ben story and I felt like a silly one based around them hadn't been done yet.

I am currently writing the new chapter of Feed & Extract. It should be up this weekend, if not by tonight. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Reviewer: Astrid (Signed) · Date: September 03, 2015 07:04 PM · On: Chapter 1

Lololol, I have to tell you, I have read HUNDRERS of fanfics by now, but this is the first one like that :D Did you watch True Blood recently? ;)
It's hilarious. It's different. But Michael somehow fits to this role, lol. I'm waiting for more. Hugs!

Author's Response:

Yay! I am so glad that no one else has Michael (or any other characters, for that matter) turning into a duck! I haven't watched True Blood since the middle of season 5, so it's been years and didn't even think about it lololol. But I can see the similarities between Michael's situation and a shifter's! Crap, now I might start swaying my storyline in a different direction. XD

Next update is Feed & Extract, which should make you happy since it has been so long ;) I hope to get that up by the weekend. Thank you for giving this strange story a chance and reviewing, Astrid! It means a lot. Hugs back!

Poor Michael!! and poor Ben. He is so worried!

But lol this is hillarious, I love that. And I couldn't stop laughing when I read  "Duck!Michael"

Author's Response:

It really is a terrible situation for the both of them. Ben thought he was dying and then he goes and disappears? He's terrified. And Michael...well, Michael's a duck.

It'll definitely be a strange tale and only a few chapters, but I do hope you enjoy the rest of the Duck!Michael saga! Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Reviewer: Nichelle Wellesly (Signed) · Date: September 03, 2015 03:55 PM · On: Chapter 1

LOL!!! Michael as a duck? I LOVE that idea! I feel for Ben though. I've always liked him although I was never a Michael fan. Can't wait to find out how you get him back to HAPPY! And if it gives a wonderful B & J reunion, all the better!

BTW- I'm going through a similiar situation with the computer I got for Mothers Day. SMH I miss my baby (computer) something terrible BUT thank God I still have the other one to write and update on. I'm driving myself crazy right now trying to transfer and save what I've worked on in the last few days into Google drive so I can add it to the other manuscripts. Oh the JOY (but not really...lol)  of modern technology!

Happy Writing!

~ Nichelle

Author's Response:

I was always hot and cold on Michael. There would be times where I loved him (basically all his scenes with Ben and Hunter, when he came to the hospital to be there for Brian, riding back with him for the marathon, the wedding, as well as when he was in drag for pride.) And there were times when I pissed at him (Beginning of season 3, whenever he got his jealousy on, when he ditched Brian in season 5, and the whole JR custody saga but I basically got pissed at everyone involved there.) I LOVE Ben. Even though Brian is my favorite character and I'm head over heels for him, I would probably choose Ben to have as a significant other. He is just such a good and intelligent man, not to mention HOT. When Michael got with him, I was like, "Damn boy, good for you!" I legit cried during the wedding scene. So I feel like Ben's character helped me love Michael a lot more. The only one I was sort of cold on by the time the show was over was Lindsay. I just felt like she seemed manipulative when it came to Justin leaving for NY and moving to Canada. I liked her the first few seasons but when she cheated on Melanie, my dislike for her went downhill from there. Of course Mel cheated on her in season one but their relationship was under a lot of stress. When Lindsay cheated, she did it when they were mostly happy and that really bugged me. I think the characters I wanted to smack across the head the absolute least were Emmett and Ben.

Okay, drag on explanation of my least favorite characters over lolol.

Ben is definitely going to go through a rough time until he figures out what happened to Michael. And Michael is going to be a very persistent duck until Ben figures it out.

As for the computer, I feel you so much on that. What especially sucks about this case was that I sent it out just a month ago to get the problem fixed. Then three weeks later, the hard drive fails (which is the same exact thing that happened before.) This computer is only a year old! Hopefully the fixed it properly this time.

I wish you luck with your writing as well! By the way, I just downloaded the trial version of Scrivener! Isn't that what you said you used? I'm slowly but I think surely figuring it out. :) Thanks for reading and reviewing this crazy story!

Reviewer: Aliada (Signed) · Date: September 03, 2015 03:44 PM · On: Chapter 1

Oh, that's quite interesting and unusual! I like it!

I was doubtful at first whether to read it or not - because of Michael and Ben's being the main characters. But I'm very glad I did.

I feel for Ben right now. He must be desperate.

Michael turning into a duck... well, it's hilarious, even despite a pretty tragic beginning. Those 'quacks' made me smile :)

And your words about Brian and Justin playing a significant part got me intrigued even more. Can't wait to see how everything turns out!

Author's Response:

I'm glad you like it! I've wanted to write about other couples in QAF for a while (even though I know the demand isn't very high.) Although I was always hot and cold on Michael, I always loved Ben and loved them together. So I figured I would write a really strange story for them.

Ben is very desperate. He thought his husband was dying. And for Michael to disappear out of thin air? He's frantic.

Michael is very confused but even moreso heartbroken because he's watching Ben freak out and he can't tell him that he's Michael. ;)

Brian and Justin will definitely be brought closer together due to these strange happenings. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: September 03, 2015 06:48 AM · On: Chapter 1

Poor Ben.  So Mikey is now a duck, how will you get Ben and Brian to realize that?  I mean you can't leave this like that!  And yes, I don't think this has ever been done either.  You've got to continue it.

Author's Response:

Yes, poor Ben indeed. He's scared out of his wits. Surprisingly, they find out sooner rather than later. Can't say how though. ;) You're right. I can't make Michael stay a duck. That would be pretty sad. I'm glad to hear you haven't read any other Duck!Michael stories! That's such a relief lolol. I will post the new chapter soon. This and Know You're Not Alone are both just a few chapters each so they'll be easier to finish. Thank you for reading and reviewing this odd story!
