Is this story complete??? The title page has a yes in the complete box but the last chapter says it is Picnic at Heaven's Gate (part 1).   Reading the last paragraph of this chapter doesn't sound like it is finished.   I don't want to start reading it until is is actually finished.    Thanks...

Author's Response:

Thanks for informing me.  I had no idea that it was marked finished.  it must have happened during the crash.

‘Just friends' and ‘No' are the only two phrases you need to remember Miracle baby.  It will be a miracle if you leave this camp a virgin.    I'm really pleased Augustus Abraham Kinney is telling the story Justin's way.  Ronnie Dyson's "Why Can't I Touch You" I don't know this song and I'm looking for some new music so I will check it out, thanks.

Cheers

Author's Response:

'Abraham' that is really making me laugh lol!  Because in the orig QAF, Brian and Lindsay wasn't let her get that name in there in any way.  I had been thinking all this time that they should at least let the woman slip it in their as a middle name, but I don't think they even gave her that much gratification even.

"just say to yourself, everybody wants Brian's son.  Everybody but Little C.J."  Thanks for writing my review for me, this is certainly true it seems.  You love your toilet scenes don't you; poor Little C.J. having to put up with toilet smells and Gus' excessive giggling. LOL  Two chapters, yay, that's the Delores we all know and love her work.  Oh wait, where is my update of TMOAC; pretty please.

Cheers

Author's Response:

Hi, Flossee, just updated TMOAC, added two chapters there too, LOL!  Please continue 2 enjvy both stories.  Thank you.

Yay, for Daddy Brian stepping up to the plate (OMG a sports analogy who would have thunk it).  "Would you say Gus and the twins know and love mel?"  This was the prefect question Delores; well done.

Cheers

Author's Response:

Argh!  'mel' instead of 'me'.... how ironic.... I did go and fix that error and a couple of others I found.  I'm constantly doing that, lOL!  Thanks Flossee... you know how I'm constantly looking forward to your reiviews.

Thanks for telling me that that was well done.  And, Brian has a bit a knack what to say to Justin to make it all better anyway.  He just loves his never-aging teenager, LOL!

great job i love gay gus stories will you be doing more

Author's Response:

Hi, Zelldrake:  So happy to hear from someone I never heard from before.  I'm so excited.  And happy belated New Year to you.

Oh, you are really a big Gus fun, huh?  LOL!  I don't do many Gus stories though.  I have this one and then the prequel to this one (The Truth About Gus - The Kid is Not My Son), but Gus is a infant in the prequel though.  The only other story I've written Gus with a very strong presence is the one called When They Were Faggots and Burning Bras...  but Gus is heterosexual in that one and he's in love with Daphne.  So, unless you are okay with a straight Gus you might not be interested in that one.

I don't plan to do any more Gus stories in the near future, But I do have one in mind where Gus is bisexual.  However, it might be a long time before I put that one together, because you might've noticed that I have a lot of WIP's, and I want to complete those before adding another new story.

But here is an additional chapter of this story for you.

Thanks again for commenting.  I really appreciate it.

Miguel to the rescue.  When is his birthday?  I look forward to hearing why his grandparents helped him deceive his parents.  Hurry back if you can pleeeease.

Cheers

Author's Response:

No doubt Deblin and Carl told Ben and Michael that they were sending Migiuel to camp.  However, what all the adults probably don't know is that Gus is at that camp.  They probably beleive he's with the twins vacationing with Justin's parents.

Reviewer: Flossee (Signed) · Date: January 11, 2014 11:32 AM · On: Chapter 17: Take The Flower

Apparently Chris is very clever or just observant as he seems to be the only one that knows Gus is ovarian.  Maybe Miguel knows because he is definitely treating Gus like he is ovarian.  I really hope Gus doesn't start acting like Michael.  I'm not really a fan of Gus in fics, especially when he is young and cute, but I would hate to see him written like Michael.  Yuck.  Put a warning if that's what you have planned Delores so I can have a bucket ready to spew in.  LOL

Cheers

Author's Response:

It could be several reasons that Chris would notice above everyone else.

One, everyone else (including Gus) is very close to the situation, and all these years were going strictly by what's written on the boy's birth certificate.

Two, Chris is at the camp under pretence himself.  He's spermodonian (little doubt) but hardly is he twelve years old.

Three, Chris is a lot older than Miguel and all the other boys at the camp, so he's probably therefore more perceptive, experience, and educated about the difference between the two species, and definitley would know more about the puberty stage.  Not to mention that people often see what they want to see; and that goes for Miguel too, however, unlike Chris he's known Gus since their were babies and all his life he was told the boy was spermodonian.  so at most he probably sees Gus as a pansy (and he's seems to be alright with that) lol!

Also, Gus might have another reason to believe he's spermodonian that hasn't been revealed yet, which just might be the same reason Brian and other males were fooled into believing Lenny was spermodonian although he wasn't. {a bit of a hint there.)

Wow, Big CJ actually knows how to use a computer and he put the check with the others, and here I was thinking of calling him scarecrow (brainless). LOL  I don't think I want to know what he did to get himself banned from the camp.  Things just seem to be falling into place for him.  Why are villains always so lucky?

Cheers; no wait; Boos for Big CJ and Little CJ

The Brian and Mikey show blah, blah, blah; get over it Michael.  Some people listen to classical music so the foetus will absorb it, stimulating their brain.  However, I'm sure when Michael and Ben's baby is born it will come out with its hands over its ears and an urge to woo a Kinney.  LOL

Cheers

Delores, Brian's creeping me out.  Ogling men at the supermarket, while his son waits to be taken home. Shudder.  Also Brad peeping in the bedroom; I was going to let that slide, but now it's mentioned again.  Eww; who wants to see their parents have sex?  This family is a little creepy and cooky and I don't mean in a Munsters type creepy and cooky way. LOL  Do you know who the Munsters are?  At least Brian got some bonding time with his female son.

Author's Response:

"Eww, who wants to see their parents have sex?"  There's an exception to every rule!  And most of us is at thsi site because we love watching Brian and Justin go at it, LOL!  I can't believe where I am 14 years sinice I first saw the series, and still I'm obsessed, LOL!  Obsessions usually last about three months at the most with me.... not 14 years, lol!

Oh, I really wanted to hear Justin give Gus, THE TALK. LOL  Well I'm not surprised I don't like Craig, but not to many fics have me disliking Gene; what a horrible way to treat a child.

Cheers

Author's Response:

I don't think that mean to do that or even realize it.  Also, they might be a little awkward around a child they once asked their son to give up for adoption.  Gus probably isn't even aware that they once tried to force Justin to give him up for adoption, but Gene and Craig  probably aren't sure whether Gus knows that or not, so it probably makes them a littel uncomfortable around the boy, and they might not be as adroit at hiding tha awkwardness as they might hope.

!@#$%^&(

Reviewer: Anonymous (Anonymous) · Date: December 24, 2013 12:19 AM · On: Chapter 15: Oh, You Don't Say, My Little Flunky?

I was afraid the boys might have to contend with Chris Hobbes in some form.  But did I forgrt something?  Who is Perry Novotny.

Author's Response:

Perry Novotny is first mentioned at the end of chapter 7, when Justin and Gus arrived inside the camp's admins building and surprisingly discovers Deblin and Uncle Vic's cousin working there.  Justin and Gus know Perry very well because he often attended the parties and cook outs that Deblin has thrown over the year.  In chapter 7, you learn that he's seventeen and he explained to them that it's his first summer working there, and that was one of the reasons Justin felt okay about leaving Gus there.  Also, Perry is in chapter 8 (when he finds Franks dead body on the steps), and in chapter 9, Gus calls Miguel and tells him that his cousin Perry is there and has his back, so therefore he doesn't have to worry about him.

Author's Response:

Hi, Topround:

I think this is the first time I'm hearing from you.  Thank you so much for takinig the time to comment.  I get so EXCITED when I hear from someone for the first time.

'Does the David thing have something to do with why they didn't have other kids all time?'   There could be several reasons why:  Could very well be the David-thing.  Another possible reason could be that after Michael fell and hurt his back he might have become apprehensive about getting pregnant.  Also, recall from the prequel that Deblin had baffling reasons for NOT be able to conceive again after giving brith to Michael, so there's a possibility that Michael might've been plagued with Deblin's condition as well.

Interesting.  I was thinking that Miguel sounded a lot like the old Brian Kinney.  Let's see if I've got it right.  Michael doesn't want any of his kids involved with any of Brian's kids, because he never got a chance to have sex with Brian?  That he is so obsessed with Ben having slept with Brian once it's all he can think about?  and he has been seeing David over a ten year period?  Are you sure the new baby is Ben's?

I do love stories like this.

Author's Response:

Hi, YumYumPM.

'I was thinking Miguel sounded a lot like the old Brian Kinney.'  Oh yeah, Little Hercules can be quite suave, lol!  However, if Gus can ever admit (to himself) that he's heads over heels for Miguel. but if Little Hercules turns out to be as bad as Brian Kiniey was, Gus is in for a helluva lot of trouble himself, lol!  Maybe it's Gus that Michael needs to worry about instead of Miguel.  LOL

'and he has been seeing David over a ten year period?'  I think Ben mentioned that that was an on-again off-again then affair.  So we would want to keep in mind that at this point we have very little insight about that affair... i.e., how far Michael might have or might not have gone with David.  We'll bound to find out more in subsequent chapters.

and good question:  about the baby's paternity, lol?

By the way, I'm So glad U R having so much fun w/ths one, YumYumPM.  Someone else here was so upset about Michael's affair that he/she in so many words called me frivilous for making Michael a cheat.  However, I was kind of appalled with that reader because the way in which I wrote it no information was given about the fine details of the affair.  So, I felt he/she jump the gun on that one.  How can that someone judge the credibility of something before having all the details about it.

She/he felt so strongly about the matter and left a comment with so much convention, I was almost afraid that comment would drive readers away, so I was so glad to come here and see your comments later.  I got emotion in my answer to that reader, so my response was quite sarcastic but I tried to be somewhat dignified in the same breath.

Thanks again, and later.

Reviewer: Anonymous (Anonymous) · Date: December 12, 2013 11:46 PM · On: Chapter 13: Get Over Yourself, Will You!

I was enjoying this story. But then Michael was turned into an cheater. It might be true that Michael was whiney and majorly hung up on Brian. But one thing he always was, was faithful. In canon, even after he found out David went to the baths and Michael had every right to return the favor with the man from Babylon, he did not. So having him behave this way here goes so completely against one of the most basic tenants of his personality, that it's totally unbelievable, even in an alternate universe with no women. So dissapointing.

Author's Response:

Hi, Anon: First of all. Let me express my condolences, because I SO sympathize with this thing happening to you. I can certainly sense any reader’s frustrations when he/she is enjoying something and then reach a point of disappointment. I'm so sorry that this kind of thing has happened to you. I think we've all been there before though. I myself have certianly had been there before. So, I can high relate to your frustrations.  Again sorry that happen to you, but...

You mean to tell me it’s quite FEASIBLE I can create a world where men impregnate other men, and you SO WILLINGLY accept its credibility without question?

However, don’t I dare try to create a feasible situation where Michael cheats on Ben, because that is TOTALLY UNBELIVABLE in this universe or any other alternative one, huh?  I guess with that said, it doesn't even matter that in the Original QAF series Michael's relationship with Ben and David never overlapped, however in this alternative universe that I created here, those two relationships do overlap, but still that means absolutely nothing, because I am attempting a feat that is totally inconceivable (the impossible feat).  Other words it just can't be done, therefore I fail right out of the gate, because no such legitimate basis can be presented for an credible circumstance where Michael is driven to cheat, because that in itself is a totally impossible, and couldn't possible be conceived of happening in this universe or any other (regardless of the circumstance).  Well, I say I have to say 'OKAY', because we all are certainly entitled to our opinion.

However, I must say that this terribly fascinates me why a fleasible scenario can exist where it believable that men can impregnant other men, but NOT ONE feasible scenario that can justify Michael being driven to cheat, and I've defiinitely learned something here.  So thanks for commenting.

Can you bottle Justin as a pain reliever?  It's so nice that Brian told him all that.

Author's Response:

"It so nice that Brian told him that".... Yeah, chicken soup for the soul, served up QAF Brian-Kinney-style, and Justin knows Brian don't lie to him so he can accept that and his worries and concerns put at immediate ease.

Author's Response:

LOL!  Got me rolling on the floor when I read this... GOOD ONE, YUMYUMPM.... YUMMY actually.

I'm really glad to see that Chris Hobbs Jr. is not going to this camp!  Looks like Gus is in for a good time.  Also Gus didn't seem to concern about learning the truth surrounding his birth.

Author's Response:

"Looks like Gus is in for a good time."  Either way the Boy will have some of the most amazing experiences of his life... hmm, let's hope they are all GOOD ones, hmmm.

Gus' way of thinking is a lot like Mikey's.  How weird is that?  They don't seem to have a lot to talk about - just kissing.  lol.  Looking forward to reading how Justin explains the complete story.

Author's Response:

'looking forward to reading how Justin explains the complete story'... that will happen but not necessarily in real time, you'll hear that conversation via secondhand conversation, i mean hearing someone repeating the content of the conversation to someone else.  That'll come a little later and there's a real good reason I have to do it that way.

Thanks again YumYum for commenting.

You have been busy!  Are we sure that Gus is not ovarian?  What happens at camp?

Author's Response:

"Are we sure Gus is not ovarian?  Hmmmm, someone (other than Big C.J.'s ) quite perceptive, and can certainly read between the lines, lol!

I'm glad to see I was wrong about Brian and Justin not getting along.  I also like how concerned they are for Gus.  But I still want to know what's wrong with the boy!!!

Author's Response:

What's wrong with the boy?  Hmmm, don't we wonder, lol.

Brian and Justin don't seem to be getting along so well.  It's a shame that Gus is going to have to stay home while the twins get to go visit their grandparents.  Of course considering how much trouble the twins can get into it's probably for the best.  Michael has a one track mind doesn't he.  At least Ben is nice.  What's wrong with Gus?

Author's Response:

Hi, YumYum:  I just added quite a few chapters... and U'r bound to find some answers to these many questions.  Read on and continue to enjvy.  Thx

Unique idea for a story. But did I miss something? Did Ben and Michael only have one child? And if so, why?

Author's Response:

Hi, Anon:  glad U on board this one, and you're quite preceptive there... pointing out the fact that Ben and Michael only have one child.  However, I think you're asking this question while we are only 4 or so chapters into the story.  There's a lot more to come, and many things you don't know at this point will be answer in subsequent chapters.

Oh, and thank you for saying that you feel my story is unique.  Thanks double for that, and I hope U continue to read on and enjoy.

This fic is strange. But I like it.

Author's Response:

Well, thank you for saying you like it.   That's what matters the most.  Thank you AGAIN LOL!!!!

I have to agree with Anonymous. While I enjoy your stories, with all due respect you do have nine unfinished stories dating back to 2008. When I mentioned this in a review for The Truth About Gus you said that would be the last new one you would post until the old ones were completed. It’s not fair to readers to let them get invested in stories and then leave them hanging for years. Please finish your old stories before you continue with new ones.

Author's Response:

Lisa, hi and thank you for commenting on this issues as well.  And, to save time and space I whether not repeat what I all the long winded message that I wrote in response to the comment I wrote just before this one.  So, can I trouble you to look at what I wrote to that reader.

and, you're right, I should finish all the old stories before continuing with the new ones, and had had every intent of not adding any new ones before address the WIP issue I have here.   However, I had been a way from the site for about a month, and got really excited when I returned and found a strong demand for a sequel to "The Truth About Gus".  Those request weren't just here in the comment section at the site, but I also received a few request in my email, and since I already had several chapters written already I posted them in haste.  however, along wtih those chapters, I also updated an WIP I haven't updated since March 2012, so that shows I am make some effort.

Thank you again, Delores

So you have NINE other incomplete stories, one of which is 55 chapters long, and you are starting a new one? What about those of us waiting for a conclusion to the other ones?

Author's Response:

Thanks you, Anon.  Thank you for taking the time to comment and express your concerns.

I know exactly what you mean, and I'm working on concluding the all the WIP's, and maybe it doesn't look like it because I have so many of them.  However, right now I have about nine (like you said) but around the start of this year I had about fourteen or fifteen them or them, so that's evidence that I am addressing the issue.  In fact, in addition to posting the new story, I also posted 4 chapters to "The Watcher",and that is a story I had updated since March 2012.  So, that's additional evidence that I'm working to resolve the problem.

However, I sincerely thought at this point I would be further along, however due to several real life issues and even a few crisises, such as death in the immeidate family, as well as some things I rather not mention here, and school obligations, as well as I'm contantly is undergoing physical and psychological therapy because of injuries I incurred in the past.  I've been suffering and recovering from mild brain damage for over nearly twenty years now, as well as I had a bad auto accident in 2011.  Unfortunately, there are times when the aftermath of those things slows me down dramatically.

Also, before the brain injury I used to be like superwoman, and I forget sometimes that I'm just not that person anymore, and therefore, if I'm not real careful I tend to get ahead of myself and bite off more than I can chew, and then it gets really crazy if some unexpected tragedy or obstacle come along (like the death in my family) or I have a particular tough semester at school, or my therapist request that I make a change in my lifestyle or program, and that can significantly affect my situation.

Didn't mean to leave such a long winded response, but thanks again for commenting, and know that I am working the WIP's.

Thanks again for taking time to comment, Delores

You would make Brad a hellrun.  Ten years old and smoking?  What will they be up to next?

Author's Response:

I glad U like it.  As pointed out in the summary, this story will be mostly about the kids, lol!

So much happening.  Three boys with the same birthday.  How cute that Gus said Daddy and walked  on that day too.  Now Mikey has a son, I like the nickname Hercules.  lol.
