Love stories that correct what happened when Michael spouted off about Justin and Brian hits him.

I like your version, so much more satisfying than the abruptly ended garden scene with whiney manipulative Mikey once again getting away with his spiteful behaviour. I love that Justin responded so quickly to follow Brian and sort that whole mess out.

Way better alternative storyline than the original. I was always surprised that Ben took the stance he did when he must have known things were serious for Brian to do this to Michael -they do say love is blind.
Author's Response: wow - thanks - its always a special thrill to get a comment on an old story and realize folks are still reading
also really glad you liked my alternative - I could have hit Mikey myself and taken him down when he said that - can't believe Brian could forgive it
thanks again for the review
happy reading

so beautiful story!
Everyone reacted so badly to Brian. Michael is still always the good guy, Brian is just an asshole. Wrong! Brian loves Justin and Michael is a spoiled brat.
Thank you :)
Author's Response: Saskya, I need to ask your forgiveness. I just realized that I lost sight of your post and never responded. How rude! lol
Thank you so much for reasding and responding. Yes - Brian's 'friends' and Michael soooo gets on my nerves. Brian does loves Justin - and is never sexier than when he admits it!
So glad you liked the story.

I certainly agree with you, this is the way it should have been. I dislike Michael so much he always got away with everything and Debbie was his enambler he's the type that will never grow up and blame others all his life and I'm afraid I know people in my circle who are just as bad, it's hard to maintain a friendship when you're an adult and the friend is still acting like 13 years old. I love your story.
Author's Response: wow - thanks - it is always so much fun to know that my stories are still being read - and I loved this one!
of course - reading back through it as I just did - the mistakes are pretty overwhelming...*blushes in embarassment/ ;)
thank you so much for your kind words - I am thrilled that you liked it - and appreciate the time and thought you put into your response - feel free to email me anytime you need an 'adult perspective...lol

I love this. This is what I like to happen in that muncher's party. I hate Michael so much in that scene that I wish everybody to know what he had said to Brian. and your story made my wishes come true. And much more that they are back with each other's arms. Thanks to that! {{{Hugs}}}
Author's Response: thank you so much Blanca - I agree that Michael needed to be found out - he never had to take responsibility or have consequences for his actions - I 'm so glad that you share my preference for this version.
I really appreciate your support and your review.

I loved it, but the again I'm all about the love... ~ Kathleen
Author's Response: thank you so much Kathleen - I agree - its' all about the love - and these two have it in over-abundance - that's what makes them so hot!
glad you liked it - and grateful that you took the time to let me know

Lovely! Too bad what we have on film so that convoluted crap that the show writers wrote. I so like this better!
All the best,
Laura
Author's Response: awww - thanks Laura - hope it brought a smile to your face like it did mine - I so hated that scene (not that I am ever much of a Michael fan any other time ;)
and they so should have delved into the backlash between Michael and Brian - that may have to be written sometime as well sometime ;) ;)
thanks again foryour encouraging review

I really really liked this! :D So much more than Season 3's first episode..... I just hated the way Michael seemed to get away with saying that about Justin.... I agree that leaving Brian for Ethan was the worst mistake in Justin's life, but I was always glad that he managed to get out of it and return to Brian in the end... I just always wished it would've been sooner..... :S Anyway, I really really hope you consider continuing this story or making a sequel sometime in the near future.... Pretty please?? Hope to read you soon! Kisses!
Author's Response: thanks - I had a feeling I wasn't the only one who wanted Michael to have to take responsibility for his mouth
thanks for taking the time to let me know you enjoyed the story - that means a lot
not sure about a sequel down the road - it could happen!
thanks again

This is the best story I read today. About time some one wrote a better
episode 1. you should continue and have the boys stay away from the family and only be involved with Gus through the courts.
Author's Response: aww thanks - how wonderful to read such kind words to start my day!
this is a one-shot for now - so that I can make the challenge deadline - but may consider a sequel in the future since there seems to be some interest
appreciate you taking the time to read and respond - it really made my day

Glad that Justin and Brian talked about what was said. I would have liked this better than what they did in the show. I see that Mikey was a dipshit when it comes to telling everyone the truth about what he said. Great fic.
Author's Response: so glad you enjoyed this version - and yes, Mikey was always a thorn in my side - he never took responsibility for anything he said or did - and there was a lot! Such a brat!
I can't tell you how much I appreciate the kind words and the time you took to read and review.
Thank you!

That was very bom.Eu actually prefer this version than the original.
Loved how Justin recognizes its share of blame in the errors of his relationship with Brian, and even more than he told Ethan about the Brian always put first in your life.
But if you allow me I would like to make some observations. In episode 301, Ethan Justin had not yet engaged in the farce of presenting it as a cousin and also had not given him the engagement ring. Hunter only enter the story in the middle of the season and Michael only married Ben in season.
I really liked your story.
A big hug! Fatima. PS: Sorry ny error, I use the Google translator to write.
Author's Response: thanks - so glad that you like the theme - and yes Justin needs to look at his part - never liked that Brian got all the blame
also - I am aware that I took some liberties with the timing of certain events as a plot device - and have gone back and re-written some after a previous review, I hope you will forgive me if the rest remain - the altered timeline just works for this story
thanks for taking the time to read and review

Charle

This version made much more sense than the original. Congratulations :)
Just an observation though, and if it was your intention, forgive me, but Hunter arrives later on season 3, and Michael and Ben don't marry until season 4.
Again good job, ang good luck !*
Author's Response: thanks so much - glad you agree that the original wasn't as satisfying as it could have been - glad yo like this version
and as for the observations - while I did take some license with the timing of things for storytelling purposes by design - I will heed your words and go back and correct it since I did not list it as an altered timeline up front - thanks for helping me keep it real
as always I appreciate you taking the time to read and respond

This was wonderful. I wish this had happened in the show. I love what Justin said to Ethan about how Brian always stood up for him. The only thing missing is the reunion chapter, pretty please.
Author's Response: so thrilled that you enjoyed it
as for more - we will have to see about a sequel down the road maybe - RL will not allow enough time to write more chapters to this one within the deadline - I appreciate your interest though
thank you so much for reading and reviewing - it means so much to hear from great folks like you

Yes, this is the way it should have happen. Can you please write more telling how Michael gets treated for his dreadful remark?
Author's Response: thank you so much - glad this scene is better for you as well - ha ha
hadn't thought about continuing the story - will see how many ask for more
I appreciate you taking the time to read and respond!

Oooohhh I like this one, if for no other reason than Justin is made to take responsibility for his part in the break up. So many times Brian is painted as the bad guy without everyone knowing all the facts. Case in point, when Justin went off to Vermont without Brian. Everyone always says Brian could have at least picked up the phone, but that issue is a two way street....Justin could have done the same.
Nice work my friend
Author's Response: thank you - I'm glad you like it - we seem to be the only two...;)...but I'm ok with that
I agree - Brian is always painted as the bad guy in every situation - but Justin - as much as I love him - had blinders on for most of the run of the show that only could see things from his own perspective - a shout out to his your and immaturity to be sure - but he hurt Brian a lot more than the man will ever admit - even to himself
thanks for responding
Charle
