What a heartwarming one-shot story! Brian's discussion of how it felt to become a father to Gus and his willingness to share a child with Justin...such a wonderful emtional connection between these two men...just as it should be.

Olá, Laura!
Como eu amei essa história! Sinceramente, eu li sua história pois é dedicada à Kim, a quem a admiro muito e sou muito agradecida por toda ajuda que ela tem me dado.
Mas sua história me fez muito feliz. Ela tem tudo que eu possa imaginar em um futuro para os nossos meninos: casados, felizes e monogâmicos. Achei tão lindo e doce Brian pedir para que Justin fosse pai e formar uma família com ele. Eu consigo imaginar esse Brian aberto, apaixonado e pronto para fazer Justin feliz, depois de abrir mão de todas as suas máscaras e ser quem realmente ele é.
Eu conheço a música, só não conhecia a letra. Agora com a tradução eu consegui ver como ela é muito mais bonita que eu suponha.
Muito obrigada por essa linda história.

The song is one of my favorites. I didn't know it was about parenthood. You did a wonderful job with applying it to Brian asking Justin to become a father.

oh my goodness - I am so in love with this story!
In my mind Brian and Justin - home alone together - just the two of them - paint quite a different picture than even the newer - grown up version of themselves they show the world...completely open...the doubts and insecurities a thing of the past...trusting each other and willing to share everything.
That Brian would not only let Justin comfort him - but welcome it - even seek it - I can't think of anything hotter!
I can see the future for this family in my minds' eye...but would love a chance to read about the next steps...from your perspective...you write them so well! - more maybe...wink wink*

I absolutely love this song and is so fitting and telling about how Brian must have felt when it finally hit him that he was going to be a father. His ability to be open and honest about his feelings was beautiful. What made it even more wonderful was Brian telling Justin that he was ready for Justin to be a father and start their own family.

Author's Response: Hi JP! Thanks so much for the review and comments. I love this song too and when I heard it the other day I immediately thought of Brian. I love writing stories about Brian and Justin at Britin, cause no matter what happens or what anyone thinks, I think that's there HEA, however long it takes them to get there.
I knew the minute I wrote the last line about a little boy that someone would ask for a sequel. I can't promise a time, but I can promise a sequel, it's already being written in my head (my muse loved this idea). Although based on a suggestion on LJ I'm thinking that maybe I'll keep this story as dedicated to my amazing fanfic friends and authors on their birthdays. I'll have to see who I should "gift" next.

I had to do something for the person who inspired me to write fanfiction, and I couldn't think of a better way than with a story dedicated to her with all the best about Brian/Justin: love, sweetness, family, romance, lemons and family.

Hi, Laura - I already left you a note over on LJ, but I wanted to thank you again for the wonderful treat! I know how much time it takes to write a story, so the fact that you did that for me really makes me feel very special. And you know how much I love the boys happy, married, and thinking of raising a family together. I loved how you wrote about Brian's own 'work of art,' and how he was willing to have a child together to make Justin happy. This is how I would like to think they were in the future. Author's Response: Hi Kim! I left you a note over on LJ, too, but of course had to say you're welcome here, as well. It did take some time, I don't like when my stories feel forced so I had to wait for my muse to strike (he struggled with this, but I think we pulled it off exceedingly well). That's how I love the boys, too, my friend: happy, married, family, monogamous. *happy sigh* I have no idea when this story would have taken place, but the fact that I didn't have to change the timeline for the song to fit when Brian might have heard it first was perfect. I've always wanted to write a story where they have children together, but I could never figure out how; the fact that I was able to come up with this as a precurser to having a family might just be the kick in the pants I need to write a fic with kids. We'll have to see what my muse and I come up with, when I have time. We already have some ideas, but we need some time as well (always more ideas than time). Definitely can't wait till June either! If you haven't already, read the other reviews for extra birthday wishes!
