I found this story fantastic... loved seeing how everyone's perspective changed when they saw/heard what Brian and Justin were REALLY like together!  I would LOVE to read the "raw" story!!!! please.. pretty please!

Author's Response:

thank you so much - couldn't be more thrilled that you liked this story...

...and, you are the second one to ask for the 'raw' story!

Perhaps when my current story is finished the muse will gather her thoughts and consider that some more...its certainly been on my mind a lot.

thank you for reading and responding

Aw, I loved all 6 chapters... although I must say that the one about them doing it raw made me squirm a little bit.  You should just... ahem... write that scene... and share it with us.  ;-)

Author's Response:

Thank you Frances! I couldn't be more pleased that you enjoyed the story - and imagining the scene that might result...***wink wink.

Don't know if the muse will ever write that scene or not - I just take her out and let her decide where we go, but that doesn't mean I don't spend more than a little time pondering that moment...

Thank you again for reading and responding. I really appreciate it.

Welcome back, Charle!!!! So proud of YOU for getting back in the saddle and that you've found joy in creating again!!

Now for the story: SMH.... why did you feel the need to turn me into a Sappy Mess? LOL The last chapter was soooo worth the wait. I absolutely LOVED the fact that everyone had to examine their preconceived notions of who Brian was in their minds vs. Who he is to Justin. I especially enjoyed Em's mental response to Bottom! Brian and his understanding that the act was so much deeper than what was perceived on the surface.  I also LOVED that plate of STFU you served Mel and Lindz who were always prejudging the pair -both subtly and sometime not so subtle. Finally the BDJ dynamic will always be special to me. Daph was always willing to make a big pot of "Cut the BS" and serve it in healthy, heart doses to B & J. It was only right that she be there to glimpse the beginning of their next stage.

Great Job, Charle!!! ({MANY HUGS})

~Chelle

Author's Response:

oh Nichelle - my heart is just swelling - what an overwhelming review - so thought out and full of encouragement - your support has meant more to me than I can tell you - and it thrills me to the bone to her that you liked this story - and share a few of my favorite moments - Emmett's response is by far my fav - and am always happy to have Mel and Lindz eat a little crow...

I wrestled with actually having Daph overhear the proposal, but in the end I couldn't picture it any other way...

thank you so much for everything - first chapter of the new story should by up within the week

Just went back and re-read the whole thing. Very sweet and schmoopy. I love the concept of having the people overhearing them learning something about themselves as well as about Brian and Justin. Great job. Congrats on getting your muse back and finishing this too! Can't wait to see what you come up with next! TAG

Author's Response:

Thanks Tag...for everything! First chapter of the new story shuld be up in a day or three...lol.

Thank you for a wonderful story I really enjoyed the different point of views as the gang got to experience the real Brian and Justin

Author's Response:

Thank you so much! I am so happy that you enjoyed it!

If I had a superpower...it would be to be able to 'hear' what is going on in the mind of those around us...creepy, huh? lol - but seriously - people so seldom share what is on their mind, and that thought is where my muse started with this one.

Again, thank you for taking the time to read and respond.

A fitting end to a story I had not read yet. I read this story in one go and giggled here and there. I'm so glad you decided to update this. The epilogue is simply gorgeous. Who would have tought it: Justin and Daphne getting proposed to so shortly after each other.

I know a lot of readers do find it difficult to leave a review. Sometimes it's hard to find the words to tell the writer how you feel without being corny. Most of the times when I can't find the right words I just leave a simple

I worked on the same project you were on.  I enjoyed it so much I started on a story of my own. If and when I finish and post it I do hope there will be readers who will leave a review even if it is just a: I like it.

I'm going to add this story to my favourites. Thanks again for deciding to update.

XOXO

Soirsa

Author's Response:

Wow - you have no idea how much this means to me! Thank you so much for taking the time to read through this whole story. I, too, love the idea that both of them found their future at the same time.

I know I probably sounded really needy about the review issue - but my mind overworks and overthinks - and I wonder if all those who read but didn't respond were indifferent, uncomfortable reviewing, or hated it and were just too kind to say so - lol. Then my muse starts to hide and won't come out to play. Even just 'nice' tells me that it was enjoyed.

I am so grateful for the time we all had together on the other project. Not only was I welcomed and my input appreciated, but it rekindled my passion for writing - I really do enjoy it. It was a lot of fun, wasn't it?...and I couldn't be more thrilled to hear that you had the same reaction - and I sincerely hope you post whatever you are writing - I can't wait to read it.

As for adding this story to your favorites..I am humbled and thrilled - I think that is my first time being favorited. How cool is that?

take care - ttys

Daphne forgot to tell them her good news.....LOL Just read all 6 chapters - nice reading everyone's POV on our boy's relationship - quite an eye opener for all of them. Nicely done

Author's Response:

Thank you. I'm so glad you enjoyed it - in my dreams I get to walk through walls without being seen...and listen in on all the conversations that shoulda' - coulda' - woulda' have happened in the show - lol.

Also, I really appreciate you taking the time to read the whole work - and respond. You are awesome.

As for Daphne forgetting - in my head she kept her news for tomorrow so she didn't do anything to take the focus off the boys - and she would want private time with Justin to share her news.

Thanks again for your kind words.

So happy to see you complete/update this one, Charle! But most of all, happy to see you posting again. I hope that means we can see another work from you in the near future. I miss them.  Take care. *Hugs* ~Kim

Author's Response:

Ah Kim, my friend - you always encourage and uplift. Thank you so much for that.

Yes, after working with Tag and the crew - which was a hoot - I realized how much I miss writing - and I have begun work on another story. First chapter should be up soon.

Always good to hear from you - and again - thanks for your support. It means so much.

Oh dear!  Daphne was so excited to hear that Brian asked Justin to marry him that she forgot to tell them that she too is getting married.  Very much enjoyed this saga.

Author's Response:

Well, first of all - thank you so much for the posts and encouragement. It means more than you could know.I'm glad you have enjoyed this story.

I usually write Michael much more whiny and self-centered - but I have this hope that at some point he grew up - it could happen...lol.

As for Daphne's announcement - she decided even before the proposal that tonight was the boys night - and even though she wishes that she could have told Justin, she wouldn't steal the stage so to speak. In my mind - this proposal would make her want even more to let the boys have their night and not overshadow it in any way. There's always tomorrow to tell Justin.

Thanks once again for taking the time to read and review...it madfe my day!

Just found this story and read all 6 chapters......loved it! thank-you!  I often think of what the other family members would think if they could know the real relationship between Brian/Justin.  I'm more anti-Michael so for me, his reaction would have been the most dramatic and whiny.  I really enjoyed reading, thanks for sharing!! :-)

Author's Response:

Thank you so much! I am thrilled that you enjoyed this story. I am usually pretty anti-Michael myself - but sometimes my wishful thinking that Mikey would grow up and get a clue takes my muse in that direction...lol.

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond. It means so much!

Hi, Charle!  You sneaked in another chapter right as I was heading off to bed - ha!  Glad that you did, though.  Unlike some other readers, I, too, enjoy a toppy! Justin.  I think it is the ultimate expression of how much Brian loves his man, and I think it's quite conceivable in a loving relationship such as theirs that he would allow that from time to time.  Thank you for these sweet vignettes into their lives.  I love the voyeuristic aspect of this story; I think only through 'accidentally' overhearing what the boys are discussing would their family and friends really understand the depth of their love for each other.  I'm glad there'll be a little more to this.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Thanks Kim - for the kind words - not to mention the constant support and encouragement. You are a gem!

Yes, Brian  being Brian - the walls would have come up strong and swift had he known that any of these conversations or intimate moments were being overheard. Oh, how he would cringe. The only one he trusts enough to let them down is his Justin - and even that was a long time coming. I wanted to find a way to give their 'family' some insight into just how much they need and love each other - and who doesn't like a little voyeurism now and then...wink wink.

Glad you enjoyed this set of scenes. One last little chapter coming to honor the one person who didn't need to accidently witness them in action to know what they have (ok - maybe she did get a small glimpse at the prom) - but being in Justin's confidence she has know it all along...then on to the next story that my inner muse has been drumming through my head.

I loved this! A toppy Justin/bottom Brian story always peaks my interest, especially one as shmoopy as this one. Great job!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much - I am thrilled that you enjoyed this one. We share a fascination with the concept of Brian completely losing his inhibitions as he loses his heart - both only to his blonde. We both know that no matter how hard he may try - resistance is futile! lol

I am so looking forward to seeing where your 'Sweet Sacrifice' takes us - for this very reason.

and thanks again for taking the time to respond - your support means so much

Lindsay and Emmett were the perfect twosome to witness a good toppy! Justin moment (I am such a slut for a good toppy! Justin scene)

Overhearing this moment forced Lindsay to let go of her fantasy of being with Brian romantically, it also allowed Emmett to see that Brian isn't as heartless as he thinks.

I'm so looking forward to the epilogue ;)

Author's Response:

awww - thanks JP - so glad that you enjoyed your other little premonition in this story - I'm with you on the toppy! Justin moment - for me, nothing is quite as hot as Brian when he is vulnerable - and nothing shows quite the depth of his openness and vulnerability to HIS Justin than trusting him with this most intimate act - letting his need for it, and his enjoyment of it known without holding back

and, of course, you are spot on as to why I chose these two to witness this particular scene

now, to check in with my inner muse to see where I should go with the epilogue - my mind goes in several directions with it - and I need to let myself stew on it a bit until it feels right

thanks once again for your support and encouragement - it means so much

I always felt bad that no matter how committed Ben and Michael were to each other, they could never share the one thing that Ben's HIV prevents. I always imagined that Michael would feel bad if he ever found out that one of his friends did it raw with their partner, especially Brian. But I'm glad that your Michael here was happy for Brian and Justin.

Author's Response:

yeah - I've always thought that one day Michael would grow up and be able to put Brian's needs ahead of his need for him to stay the same...and truly be his friend.

glad you like this

What a lovely last paragraph!  I loved what Michael said at the end; how selfless and how indicative of how much he cares for his best friend.  I think a lot of them did some growing up toward the end of the show.

I'm so glad you're updating this, Charle!  I love these sweet, heartwarming moments between them.  Thanks for the latest chapter; I'll be looking forward to the rest.  And I hope that RL improves for your loved ones soon.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Author's Response:

oh  Kim, your words mean so much. I am thrilled that you liked Michael's words - they make me cry myself every time I re-read it! Being there for my friends these last few weeks has just reinforced the importance of putting the needs of others before ourselves.

lol - and yes, I will continue this story until the end (which is probably only 1 or 2 more chapters) for the 5 of you out of over a thousand reads who actually seem to be enjoying it - rotfl - good thing I am not insecure or in need of ego stroking...lol

I love how Brian was always so shy when he let his feelings show. Beautiful chapter.

Author's Response:

Thank you Lorie - so glad you liked this chapter.

I think Brian's shyness came from never quite believing that he deserved to feel the happiness he felt with Justin, and overwhelming fear that voicing his vulnerablility would make it real and he'd be left weakened and unable to cope when it all went away.

I appreciate you taking the time to review - it means so much.

I think this one may be my favorite - at least so far. Watching Ben realize that something has changed, and this coupling is not the 'we fuck where we want and we don't care who sees us' Brian and Justin that he he expected stirs up the emotions, I think.

Author's Response:

hey Kim - I had a feeling you'd be one of the first to respond. I so appreciate your thoughtful support.

I am thrilled that you like the way Brian responds to Justin in this chapter. I am still just a sucker for a tender Brian, in those quiet moments with just his love. I knew that Brian would never let the others see that side of him, but really wanted to see what the affect would be on their perception of him, and themselves, if they could get a glimpse. Of course, in these situations, their normal reactions would be a bit 'awkward', so they had no choice but to think about what they were seeing in silence.

thank again for your constant support

That was sweet :)

Author's Response:

Thank you. I am so glad you liked it. I just love tender moments between our boys - and my muse kept wondering what would happen if the gang got to see a few of these - in situations that didn't allow them to react and cause Brian to retreat back into his shell, but instead gave them reason to contemplate and look at the boys, and themselves a little differently.

I appreciate you taking the time to read and respond.

Have a wonderful Christmas - or whichever holiday you celebrate.
