to bad you never updated this

We so need to see this sequel completed. I would be so happy to wake up to an update one day very soon :-)

Reviewer: Calliesky (Signed) · Date: January 08, 2020 09:04 AM · On: Prologue

I'm case your wondering, we still want you to find your muse and continue this story. You have created an intriguing story line and I'm a little disappointed in Justin. How did he just go and marry someone else?

Just one more chapter to give the why's???

Reviewer: Cheryl (Anonymous) · Date: October 29, 2014 09:21 AM · On: Life of Brian

I hope you continue with this story line.  I just re-read this after staying up most of the night reading the "Persistence of Memory."  It's a wonderful story.

Reviewer: Suzyn (Anonymous) · Date: April 11, 2014 07:10 PM · On: Life of Brian

I've loved this story so far, but am seriously disappointed that it did not continue.  The

opportunities for the "reconnection"  of these two beloved characters is fantastic!  What

happened to the "ecstasy and ...eager to write more right away..."  go - ???

Reviewer: orhida43 (Signed) · Date: February 26, 2014 04:57 PM · On: Life of Brian

This story should be written so that you can finally
come up with some happy moments between our favorite boys.
I hope this story will get its development and a happy ending.

Now that you're back with us, it will probably happen.
Thank you!

So glad for a sequel, can wait to read it...I'll wait until it's complete though, because when I'll start to read it, I wont be able to finish :)

Author's Response:

Thank you for your interest. I will have to say that it'll take me a while to complete it. I AM still working on it, though.

Cheers,

Vin

DO YOU THINK YOU WILL BE WRITING MORE OF THIS STORY?  HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR QUITE A SPELL.  I REALLY LIKE IT AND SEE YOU HAVE STARTED ANOTHER ONE.  PLEASE FINISH THIS ONE SOON.

Author's Response:

Hi Linda,

I definitely have plans to finish this story. I truly do NOT want to abandon anything. I am working on it, but rather slowly. I hope you'll stay "tuned".

Thanks for you patience!

Great to get Brian's side of things though sad to think in terms of "The first few years after that argument at Deb's, after Justin left for the last time" and all the many years after that.  The reunion dinner was really touching.  It was sweet how Brian kept wondering what Justin was doing and then scolded himself for "acting like a teenage girl!"  LOL  I loved, “Brian didn't hear him at all, but he felt him.”  So romantic!

Author's Response:

Thank you for a wonderful review. I am so glad you enjoyed it!

It was nice reading Brian's Pov. He peace with himself and his family. I can understand letting things go and he was just as at fault for not making bounderies clear in the first place. His friends/family never should have gotten that far into his business.

I wonder how Justin feels about the family at this point?

I'm anxious  to read the next chapter.

Author's Response:

Hi, no sleep! Thank you for another lovely comment. I am very happy indeed you liked Brian's chapter. My idea was that Brian's decision to move to London was to keep the family close (through long-distance communication), but at a healthy distance while trying to rekindle something with Justin.

I hope you'll continue to enjoy this story as it progresses.

Cheers,

Vin

I was so happy to see this sequel. Initially, I felt that Justin was better off without Brian, but maybe he has matured enough to make a relationship work.

I like Keeley's POV.

Author's Response:

Hello, no sleep! Glad to see your handle in the comment section - thank you for your review. I think that after 12 years Brian couldn't help but mature; he always struck me as a very smart man who would only "improve" with age and wisdom.

I am very glad you liked Keeley's take on the beginning of the boys' reunion.

Cheers,

Vin

is any body going to say sorry  to justin i like what u wrote  update soon thanku kim

Author's Response:

Hi Kim! Thank you for your comment. To answer your question, Brian did say sorry and he did asked for Justin's forgiveness in the Epilogue to "Persistence of Memory". It just hasn't been referenced in this story quite yet. This is only the beginning, so don't worry ample groveling from various and sundry characters will be coming up. I hope you'll stick around for the rest of the story to see how it all unfolds.

I hope you had a lovely New Year!

Cheers,

Vin

P.S. I am still diligently working on the next chaper of IWOT, but it's slow going. I promise that I haven't abandoned it and will finish it as soon as I can.

Reviewer: Reader (Anonymous) · Date: January 03, 2012 08:40 AM · On: Life of Brian

It just keeps getting better.......Brian's pov fills in the gaps and gives a clearer picture of their reunion.

All that is left is Justin's pov. Is that wht's next? . I know you gave us a bit from POM but there is more I am sure.I am just so excited!!

Obviously, he has gotten the shock of his life but when he's recover the wall will be up to protect himself and his daughter. I believe Brian has his work cut out for him. I don't see him just falling into Brian's arms. I do see Keeley being the communicator between these two. Possibilities, possibilities - there are so many but this is just my little imagination working away.

Author's Response:

Hello, my dear Reader! I am so glad you enjoyed this chapter and are excited for the next one. I am going to do my damndest to do a good job. As for the contents of the next chapter, I am not yet certain how it'll turn out. It'll either contain Justin's POV, the lunch or a combination of the two. I am still in the process of writing the first draft (as in not even half way finished) and it can all change by the time the final draft is ready. We'll see.

Thank you for a lovely comment, as alwasy.

Cheers,

Vin

Hi, Dear!  I really enjoyed this chapter as you provided some of the background about Brian's changes in his life and his thoughts as he neared his much-anticipated reunion with his 'love.'  I adore the idea of Brian worrying about whether Justin was with someone (love the jealousy angle always!) as well as his time at the hotel.  I spent a week in England seven years ago, so that brought back some fond  memories for me.:)

I hope you will eventually include that suggestion I made to you (without giving it away); I would LOVE to see that scene and I think it would provide even further proof to Justin how Brian has changed.  Of course, perhaps when we look back on his dealings with his son, perhaps it wouldn't be such a stretch after all.  A most delightful chapter!  I will be eagerly waiting for the rest.:)  Happy New Year, too, BTW!~Kim

Author's Response:

Thank you so very much, Kim! I am beyond glad you liked it so far. I am DEFINITELY keeping all our previous conversations in mind. This is a "work in progress" in the true sense of the phrase - I have only very, very tentative plans for the overall story and very minimal notes, so this will be difficult to write. I'll do my best to keep you and everyone else entertained.

I am glad you enjoyed the hotel scene. Like you, it's been several years since I've been to London, so doing a bit of light research for this story is bringing lots of good memories for me as well. Just FYI, I've never stayed at the Savoy, but always wanted to. I thought that it would be a perfect place for someone like Brian to stay.

Again, thanks for an amazing comment!

Cheers,

Vin

ah- I am so very glad that you are eager to write more, because I am very very eager to read more! This promises to bring a whole new perspective to this love story...yet I have no doubt that in the end - after whatever angst we must endure - all will be the same. Nothing can stop the love between these two!

loving life,

Charle

Author's Response:

Thank you for a lovely comment, Charle! I am glad that you want to read more. It makes me think that I am on the right track with this story (knock on wood).

Hope you'll continue to enjoy the rest.

I am so happy you are continuing this!  Keeley is delightful. "Brave warrior' is very fitting for a child of Justin's. Her interest in "a magical place called Pittsburgh" made me grin.  (Yes Keeley, Pittsburgh has been called "a magical kingdom, full of sprites and fairies"  Hee)  I can't wait to see how Brian and Justin deal with this long standing rift.

Author's Response:

Hello dear Armandyouidiot!

I'm glad you liked the prologue and Keeley. I hope you'll enjoy the rest of the story as it unfolds.

Happy New Year!

Happy Happy New Year to you and thank you.

What a magnificent start!!!

Brilliant !!! Writing from Keeley's point of view. This is going to be another great fic. just from reading the first chapter my imagination has taken off.

Author's Response:

Hello, my dear Reader!

I am so glad you enjoyed the beginning of my sequel attempt! I hope to do it justice. And since you imagination has taken off.... wanna share your ideas with me? LOL! Kidding.

Thank you so much for a lovely comment and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well Vin, I'm happy to see that you started a sequel to POM and as I see you started very good introducing to us a new member of the future family. In the waiting for a story to really begin, I wish you a very happy new year 2012, and that we will still have a privilege to read your stories. Metka

Author's Response:

My dear Metka, thank you for a lovely, lovely comment. I am glad you liked the introduction and I sincerely hope you'll enjoy the rest of the story as it unfolds.

Hi, Vin!  What a great treat to see that you've started on the sequel!  Can't wait to see what you come up with for it!  And love the idea of using the daughter to tell at least part of the tale - that is very appropriate in light of Gus being the narrator/main focus in the first story.:)  I will be eagerly waiting to see where you take this, my dear.  Hope you have a great New Year!!

Kim

Author's Response:

Thank you, Kim! I hope you had a lovely New Years celebration as well. As for this story, I have a general idea of what I want to do with it and how/where I want it to go, but since I don't have the copious notes on this one, it'll be written A LOT slower. I hope it'll turn out well.

Thanks for leaving a comment as always!

Vin

oh, what a lovely New Year's present. I love that this story is not over, and we get to 'watch' these two find their way back to each other, with the extra bonus of this obviously precocious (and utterly adorable) little girl who will undoubedly play a large part in the path the boys take from here

anxiously awaiting the next chapter...

loving life,

Charle

Oh, thank you, Charle! Happy New Year to you, my darling! Can you tel Ive had too much campahne?

I plan to update in the next couple of days. Wishing you all the best in 2012!
