First time hearing from you before, and I get so excited when I hear from someone for the first time. So here's me expressing much excitement to you, and happy 2014 to you.
I'm so glad U found this one, and you are correct it's been a long time since I've updated it. However, no story is here is completely abandoned. It just i got so many WIP's here that it's going to take me a while to get around to finishing them all, but eventually. I will. However, when I learn someone is reading an old story it encourages me to tackle that one next.
Thanks again for letting me know that you were reading an old story and how much you liked it. So, I'd put this one way on the list of one of the WIPS that I will tackle next.

Author's Response: Poor Gus; his plate is definitely overflowing. No gaurantees about the baby even. His doctor might have been overly optimistic predicting the baby's chances of survival.

Hope I can find some time between my demanding course work, however, if not.... I try to update during my Thanksgiving and Winter break.

And Oh by-the-way, Justin didn't fire Bishop; he just threatened him a bit to light a bit of fire under him.
But still Brian helped Justin realized that when it comes really down to it, he's in charge of his own destiny. So, Justin will still utilize Bishop's servces but he plans to do a lot on his own as well, and if it need be he might acquire the services of an additional agent to help achieve what Bishop doesn't seem to be able to make happen for him.
Still he will stay with Bishop because Brian also convinced Justin that in pursuit of what he would eventually like his ulitmate career to be, he shouldn't regard lightly the fact that what he have and has already achieved it pretty damn terrific as well.

Author's Response: Hi, Jenny! These guys have every intent of paying hard ball. U.S. Politics back then was extremely nasty! Opponents bugging, tapping each other phones, arranging for your assasination even - nasty, nasty, nasty. Had someone like Obama was even able to win the Presidency (back then) - he it would have taken one helluva mircale for him to have lasted to see his first official day as President. Similar to how Bobby Kennedy was taken out while campaigning.
Oh, Hav Fun, though! Didn't mean to come across so deep. I don't know yet how intense this story might become, however, just to ligten it up a bit, I'll intentionally throw in bouts of comedic ambiance here and there, so it don't become incredibly dark.
