This was a great little story!! Max needs to learn that no means no!!! And just because he may be rich and good looking doesn't mean he can have whatever he wants. He definitely deserved to have charges pressed against him. And not that I didn't expect it, but way to go Brian for being there for Justin. He truly protected him from getting hurt.

I saw your name with "new" next to it and got really excited. I then realised it was an old story I'd already read and my excitement disappeared, as something I've already read is not nearly as fun as a new story.
But it did make me realise I haven't commented on the last two chapters of tame the wild stallion, which is very amiss of me. And as I'm too lazy to do two reviews, so here's two-in-one. :) (I don't think I ever commented on this, but without re-reading it, I don't remember enough of what happened to be able to comment on it. apart from yay jealous!Brian!)
I'd had my suspicions (obviously) that whatshisface had something to do with Brian's cousin's death (as you can see, I'm great with names) and it was wonderful to have them confirmed. But I do feel really bad for Will and Sarah having their son's death dragged out in the open like that and having to think about it. I never believed (again, obviously) that Jared had anything to do with Justin's accident, but it's nice to have it confirmed for the other characters.

Thank you for the comments about "Stallion." It was bound to be painful for Will and Sarah to learn the truth, but I think in the long run they would have preferred that to being kept in the dark. His death HAS been an integral part of the story, but is only one component of it. There is still the question of what will become of Brian at the end of the summer. That will be resolved eventually, with a few surprises along the way.
Thanks for reading both stories. Oh, and if it helps, I DO have a new story coming that I've been working on behind the scenes. It's almost done, so I should start posting it soon. I've just made myself a promise to try and not post anything else new unless it's done first. I didn’t think that final chapter or epilogue was necessary. It was good, but it didn’t add that much. Then – the end. It
made it all worth it. Of course there was just enough time for
Brian to go back to the car show and pick out a ridiculously
expensive car that matched Justin’s flesh tones. That was
amazing. Sometimes (not often) I wonder what I am doing
here in front of my PC reading B&J stories. Endings such as
that make every second well worth it.

Oh, I had a really great time reading this story! First of all, I love the idea as usual – it’s seems to be so simple, yet it has never crossed my mind before. I think something like that might very well happened in the show itself, though unfortunately, they didn’t show it to us. Of course Brian always has his “I don’t do jealousy” attitude, but everyone knows how much it is *not* true. This amazing story has confirmed it one more time:) And I must say, it contains a valuable lesson – it shows what a blind passion can do. Add to that power, attractiveness and money – and the person becomes absolutely uncontrollable, unable to take ‘no’ for an answer. This is exactly what happened with Max.
In fact, just like in “I don’t!” with Robert, at first he seemed really nice to me, I even thought that he almost ( almost being a key-word:) ) closely resembles Brian. Then, of course, I changed my mind. He thinks too much of himself, completely disregarding other people’s feelings… though I enjoyed their interactions with Brian before Justin’s arrival.
I also absolutely *love* how enamoured Brian is with Justin! When he zoned out right in front of Chamberlain, thinking and dreaming about the blond, my heart just melted. I adore little sweet moments like that! You showed so much love, so much adoration, dedication in that episode… Justin’s point of view is great, too. You captured his feelings after Ethan fiasco perfectly. I also love the phrase that now Brian behaves as if “he realized what he had almost lost”. I noticed it in the series, too – well, apart from that episode with ‘eleven o’clock’- that’s horrible, though quite understandable. It seemed to me that Brian even stopped tricking as much as he used to, and he finally started acknowledging that he and Justin really *are* partners.
I think that’s also the reason explaining why Brian felt so jealous here, so threatened by Chamberlain though he could probably see that Justin was *not* interested. The pain from Ethan and Justin’s leaving is still too strong, too vivid. And, well, jealous Brian is my weak spot, I just *love* him this way:) You described the green-eyed monster in him fabulously, so realistically that I actually felt sparks in the air. And Max’s attraction… well, it’s hot, though not as hot as Brian’s jealousy.
I almost felt Justin’s anxiety when Chamberlain was so obviously hitting on him – and Brian’s increasingly rising anger. And of course I ADORE how Brian finally lost it and threw the obnoxious man out! But no, it wasn’t enough for Max. He seems to be rather intelligent, but when passion comes, he just can’t help it. He was so dazzled by it that he almost made a big, huge mistake. But Justin definitely knows how to stand up for himself! And then Brian – so protective, so furious that someone might hurt the person he loves… Those are great moments! And how Brian and Justin obliviously came out in front of everyone – wow:) I was waiting for that to happen.
The ‘three months later’ chapter is also great! Again loving, protective Brian, ready to do everything to protect Justin… and Max once again became a victim of passion and his own selfish narcissistic nature. I’m glad that everything turned out to end well!

P.S. Oh, I’ve already read "Tender Loving Care", "Stirring Up Trouble" and "Paper Hearts Killer". I love all of them, though the last two are definitely my most favourite. I’m going to re-read them starting with “Stirring Up Trouble” as soon as it’s possible. I remember this story has really impressed me, I couldn’t wait for Brian and Justin to finally get together, and those cakes – wow, I felt hungry all the time!:)

Although he didn't like the circumstances, Brain was probably too pleased to finally get his hands on Chamberlain.

Another fabulous finish to an amazing tale. Although, I didn't realize it wasn't going to this short of a story! Lol. Of course, short or long, I always hate when your stories come to a close. Actually, I'm trying to write the first chapter now - there's a new story I'm itching to start and didn't want to do it until I had this out of the way. Oh my word! You have really done it here... and you know how I prefer a first meeting type of premise... but this had me hooked, captivated and wanting more immediately! Way to go predec2, i read a lot of your stories and i know this one will be as great as the rest. I actually stop reading another story when this one pop up and i wasn't disappointed i got hooked on the first chapter and now i am sitting here wondering HOW LONG until the next. And what is brian to do? Who or what is more important to him Justin or Kinnetik? Then there's the best part, a jealous brian which i love.

Author's Response: Hi there, BB! I think the BB actually stands for bold and brazen just like the OTHER Brian, doesn't it? - ha! Glad to see you've returned back to the fold of the reading group.:) Went to Colorado once on a motorcoach tour for a week. Almost ashamed to admit it, but it was a little too much togetherness for my then best friend and me. By the time we got done riding together, sleeping in the same hotel room together, and eating together, we also weren't SPEAKING to each other by the time the week was over - ha! Not to fear, we have since made up. But she recently suggested the same type structure for a combo land and cruise tour of Alaska and I had to decline. Is she trying to ruin our friendship again? Oh, well, I digress....yeah, Randy's got a beautiful voice - a lady I beta for on a fic story that I have never met is actually flying over from Germany to go with me - will be on the 11th. Would be awesome if that's the same day that lindc goes as well but will have to see.
