Haha.  Hash brownies, just the thing.  At least you added Gus to keep them in line.

very cute chapter.  Personally I never think the secret ingredient makes brownies taste better but after eating a couple you no longer care.  I liked Gus being confused by a high daddy.  Bill

This SO much deserves another chapter!  It's truly moving.  I teared up within the first few sentences.  Nicely done.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much! Another chapter is in the making ;)

Poor Brian, I hate it when I'm sick... And radiation, that's is just the worst...

Justin knows just how to handle Brian, and if he's lucky he'll get that BJ sooner rather than later...

Hugs ~ Kathleen

Author's Response:

Hehehe! Yeah, Brian might get his present. :) Only if he's a good boy.

I love this series. I love how Justin is taking care of Brian. Brian isn't use to anyone to anyone taking care of him. I'm wondering what Brian is going to do next. Please post more soon !!

Author's Response:

There will be more. I'm working on the next part. ;)

Sad but sweet.  I like that everyone knows Justin is the best person to deal with Brian.

Author's Response:

Justin gets Brain better than anyone, and he's the only one Brian actually tolerates around him in his sick state.

Justin stands at Brian's side just like Brian stood at his when he needed it after the bashing. This is love. Short but good story.

Author's Response:

Yes. Justin tried to make Brian understand what love means.

This is what they call tough love.  Justin and Brian need each other.

Author's Response:

Exactly. They can't live without the other.

Moving, very moving story.

Love the caring and loving Justin you wrote in this story.

And still Brian tries to be the strong and independent man.

Beautifully written.

I always love when Justin stands his ground with Brian, I found this scenario believable, as well as very enjoyable. Thank you!

Author's Response:

Thank you! I'm really happy you liked it, and that I managed to make it so believable.

Nice take on a gap filler.  I could see this happening. I have always wanted some back story about how others found out about Brian's cancer

Author's Response:

Yeah, the show didn't let on much about how others found out...or how they coped with everything.

I do like a good 'gap filler' and that was definately a scene that left me wanting to know just what happened next, and I think you captured it perfectly :)  Well done !

Author's Response:

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

This is one the things I love the most about Justin; however naive he is sometimes, he has an eternally good heart, and as you pointed out in this piece, Brian really needed to see that. The comparison between cancer and the bashing is very apt- again, as you rightly pointed out, Brian had done the same beforehand, so his reasoning for throwing Justin away is flawed, although true to his character. It would have been interesting to see some of this from Brian's point of view, because I feel that the story was a little inconsistent at times in saying whose point of view it was. It seemed to me that it was meant to be Justin's view only, but some sentences showed us what Brian was thinking- which Justin himself could not possibly know. However, it was in character, and it was enjoyable. Very good work. I really enjoy canon work on Queer as Folk the most, so I am always looking for authors who can come up with plausible gap-fillers. It seems most enjoy making up stories, but there is nothing wrong with exploring.working with the material we have. Perhaps you might write more of these? I would very much like to read them! Well done.

Author's Response:

Thank you! I love writing about them so much. Especially canon. I have a few more gapfillers in the making, and 2 already posted.

I tried to have both their points of view, but I guess it was mostly Justin. :)

Keep me on author alter if you like reading gapfillers.

Very nice.  The massage was a good idea.  Perhaps if he'd kept it up Brian wouldn't have tried to throw him off Mt. Kinney so many times.  lol.

Author's Response:

Oh yeah. It would have been easier to live with him that way. ;)

This was really good. Very believable, very Brian and Justin.

Author's Response:

Thank you! I'm glad I could keep them in character. :)
