Chapter 10-------------------
“Touch but my lips with those fair lips of thine; Though mine be not so fair, yet are they red – The kiss shall be thine own as well as mine. What seest thou in the ground? Hold up thy head; Look in mine eyeballs; there thy beauty lies. Then why not lips on lips, since eyes in eyes?” *
When Justin arrived home from the diner later that day, an empty apartment greeted him. Ethan hadn’t come home yet. Justin sighed with relief, happy to realize that he had some time to be alone. There were some serious issues he had to face and though he was grateful to Daphne for trying to help him, he knew very well that the only person who could solve this problem was himself. First, he had to decide what it was that he really wanted. Yeah right, like it was that easy. He realized pretty quickly that it proved to be one of the hardest things he’d ever had to manage. One thing he was sure of, he was already missing Brian like crazy. At first he tried not to think about it, but the more he tried to ignore the fact, the worse it got. He’d been waiting for Brian to show up at the diner all day, but the man had never come. Justin kept on playing back every single sweet moment of that unforgettable night. He wondered what it would be like to live in a relationship like that; would it mean that he’d die of sex-overdose? He chuckled at this thought and decided that it would be the best way to die. Then he came around and told himself not to be an idiot; he didn’t know what that night meant to Brian, but he had a feeling that the actor wasn’t looking for a relationship. The thought of the man made him very hard, so he flopped down on the couch to take care of that problem. He started to stroke himself with long, slow motions while keeping his eyes closed and seeing nothing but the face of that gorgeous man. God, how could someone look so beautiful? Soft little moans and gasps filled the room, and Justin quickened the pace when he could feel his climax approaching. Before he could finish it he heard the sound of the front door. He stopped and quickly got himself together, he didn’t want to get caught. Maybe Ethan would take it as encouragement, and he didn’t like the idea. ‘Funny how things may change’ he thought to himself; not so long ago Justin would had given anything to have some sex with his boyfriend, but now he was the one who tried to avoid any kind of sexual contact with Ethan. He stood up abruptly while trying to hide his still impressive hard on. “Hey, Jus!” Ethan seemed to be pretty cheerful when he stepped into the room. The meeting must have been a success. “Hey.” Justin answered with a fake smile. “How was it?” “It was excellent!” Ethan gave his boyfriend a kiss on the lips and tried to pull him as close as he could. Then he added in a whisper, “They loved me, as usual.” “Great.” Justin tried to free himself but Ethan didn’t seem to like this idea, so he tightened his grip on the blond. Justin gave up and asked, “And what kind of offer it is that you got?” Ethan leaned closer and tried to sound seductive, “Let it be a surprise. You’ll get to know it in time. Probably next week.” Ethan was sure that Justin would love his collaboration with the theatrical company but he wanted to surprise his boyfriend. Besides, he wasn’t in the mood for talking at the moment, in fact, he was surprisingly horny. He had to admit that it had something to do with that incredibly hot tall actor he’d met a few hours ago. Ethan wanted to talk to him, he wanted to impress the man but the actor seemed to be pretty busy; at least that was what he’d said. Ethan wasn’t someone who’d give up easily, he was sure he’d have plenty of time to get closer to the man. But now, he held his boyfriend in his arms. He’d been pretty neglected lately so Ethan thought it was time to make it up to the boy. Justin never could resist him anyway. Thinking about it, a conceited grin spread across his face. “Come on Jus,” he whispered in the boy’s ear, “make your boyfriend happy.” Before Justin could answer Ethan pulled his head to his, forcing a cold, wet kiss on the blonde’s mouth. Justin obeyed, it was his boyfriend’s kiss after all, but he wasn’t too enthusiastic about it. Now, after having that night with Brian he could tell the difference. He didn’t think it was Ethan’s fault; it was simply his own. He didn’t know if there was anything that Ethan could do to satisfy him. And he didn’t think he was playing fair with his boyfriend. He tried to find an excuse to get out of this situation while he could feel Ethan’s tongue entering his mouth. He thought his mother would be a good idea, since Ethan wasn’t really fond of her, and it was a mutual thing. For the first time in his life Justin was extremely grateful for that. He pulled away and pushed Ethan back a little. “What?” The violinist asked, looking confused. “I...I forgot to tell you that I’m going to meet my Mom.” Justin looked at his watch then added with an apologetic expression, “I’m so sorry…want to come?” He asked but he regretted it immediately. What if Ethan would say yes? Then they’d have to meet his Mom somehow, and evidently it was not his Mom he wanted to see. ‘Please say no, please say no…’ He kept on repeating it inside of his head. “No, I’d rather stay…” Ethan answered sternly. Justin tried to look disappointed but he was more than happy to hear it. He told himself not to make a mistake like this again. Ethan went on, “Why don’t you stay here instead? You could call your mother and meet her some other time.” “Nah, I promised to meet her. I can’t let her down.” Justin said and hoped it would be enough for Ethan. No such luck. “Oh, but you can let me down.” Justin didn’t expect this kind of reaction, he didn’t think Ethan would mind staying home without him; he never had before anyway. “Try to understand it.” He said quietly. “When will you be back?” Ethan asked with his arms crossed. “I don’t know. But I’ll try to hurry.” Ethan sighed, “Fine. But you won’t get away with it that easily.” He looked at Justin suggestively, “I want you to make it up to me.” ******************************************************** When Justin stepped onto the street he wondered how long he’d be able to do this; avoiding Ethan’s initiations while craving for Brian’s closeness. Maybe Daphne was right; maybe leaving Ethan was the solution. But what if Brian didn’t want anything from him? He didn’t know the man after all. He was scared to ask him though, because things would be over before they really even started. It was still better to be with the man like it was just some kind of dirty little secret, than not being with him at all. And Justin wanted to be with him now; it was all he could think of. Before he knew it, he found himself standing in front of the theater, surrounded by many other people. He took a look around to make sure he didn’t know anyone there then he bought himself a ticket for the play ‘Othello’. He’d seen that play somewhere many years ago, but apart from that famous line ‘Have you pray’d to-night, Desdemona?’ ** he didn’t remember anything, so it was a great opportunity to refresh his memory. Not to mention the fact that seeing Brian on stage made everything more exciting. After entering the place, he found his seat. It wasn’t as close to the stage this time as it was before because he wasn’t really sure if he wanted Brian to see him in the audience. He told himself to stop being so scared of the man’s reactions; he had to look at least a bit self-confident if he wanted something from him. The lights went out and the play began. And just like the first time, from the moment Brian stepped onto the stage the boy couldn’t take his eyes off of him. But this time, he noticed that he wasn’t just a beautiful man but he was a great actor too. This evil character he played, Iago, seemed to be the perfect role for him. And Justin could tell that the man loved playing it. He thought this Iago must have been the hottest villain ever. He didn’t think that Brian had spotted him, not even when the lights went up and the actors stepped forward to bow. Justin stood up but instead of exiting the place he thought about trying to meet Brian inside the theater. He couldn’t tell why, but he felt so relaxed and peaceful there, not to mention that someone that might know Ethan could see them together outside and he didn’t want that. But he didn’t know how to find Brian. He waited for a while when he saw the actor who played Iago’s wife. He was heading toward the exit, still wearing his costume and a huge blond wig; he was obviously trying to find someone. Even in costume, Justin could easily recognize this man; he remembered that he’d seen him with Brian at Woody’s that night. He gathered all his strength and stepped up to the tall man, who was still looking around nervously. “Excuse me…” Justin started diffidently. The man kept on shaking his head and murmured under his breath, “Fucker…he promised he’d wait for me.” “Excuse me…” Justin repeated, louder this time. Emmett noticed Justin at last. “Hey sweetie.” He knew immediately that it was that cute blond boy they’d seen at the bar before. “Can I help you?” “Um…yes.” Justin answered shyly. Emmett found the boy adorable, especially when he began to blush. “Are you lost?” He smiled at Justin. “No, I’m…looking for someone.” Justin took a deep breath and added, “I’m one of Brian’s…friends. The actor I mean.” “Sure you are.” Emmett smiled with a knowing expression. He remembered clearly that Brian had made a move on this boy, and obviously he had succeeded, Emmett had no doubt about that. “Would you help me to find him? I need to talk to him. Please.” Justin said quietly. Under normal circumstances Emmett would have never led the boy to the changing rooms, in fact they’d never let anyone behind the stage. But there was something about this boy that he just couldn’t resist. He wasn’t sure that Brian wouldn’t kick him in the ass for that though. He smiled at Justin and said, “Come on sweetie.” He headed toward a narrow corridor and Justin followed him without a word. “I hope you realize how privileged you are.” The man said, his voice sounding very friendly, “Not everyone’s let in here you know.” “I do. And I’m really thankful for that.” Justin answered with a smile. He liked this man. “You’re very welcome sweetie. I hope Brian will agree.” He said this last sentence very quietly, more to himself that to the boy. They stopped at a door and Emmett opened it. “Wait here for a second, okay?” Justin nodded and the man closed the door behind himself. Justin didn’t know what Brian would say when he saw him standing there. He just hoped he wouldn’t yell at him, or humiliate him in public. The door opened and Brian stepped out. He didn’t say anything at first just kept on looking at the boy, but Justin thought he didn’t look too pissed. “What are you doing here?” Asked the man calmly. “I…I…just wanted to tal…” Justin stopped when Brian raised an eyebrow at him. He knew very well what the man was about to say; he remembered clearly what Brian had told him on their first night ‘you wanted to see me, because you wanted to see me’, so he added shyly, “I wanted to see you.” Brian nodded slowly and gave the boy a ‘that’s more like it’ smile that made Justin shiver. The man opened the changing room’s door and motioned the boy to step in. “Come in. I’ll be ready in a minute.” When Justin stepped in he could see some other actors getting dressed as well, but none of them seemed to mind that they had a visitor. Brian pulled a chair to where Justin was standing and said quietly, “Here.” After having a pretty amusing conversation with Emmett about the disadvantages of some women costumes, Justin noticed that the actors started to leave. Brian turned to the boy and asked, “Ready?” “Where are we going?” He asked, disappointment evident in his voice. “Where do you want to go?” Brian looked at him questioningly. Justin looked around and realized that they were left alone. “Can we stay here?” He could see that Brian was surprised, so he added, “I like this place. And I’ve never seen a theatre from the other side.” Brian remained silent and thought about it for a minute. Then he shrugged and finally answered, “Whatever.” Justin gave Brian the brightest smile the man had ever seen and he couldn’t help smiling back. The corridor now seemed to be dark and silent, it looked like everyone else had left the place and Justin found it very exciting; being alone in that mysterious theatre with the most mysterious man he’d ever met. Brian showed Justin the room where the costumes were kept, and the boy had to laugh at how ridiculous some of them looked. Brian grasped Justin’s hand and led him to a pretty huge and empty, barely lit place. “Is this the stage?” The boy asked. Brian turned him around in response, making the boy face the now empty chairs. Justin chuckled and added, answering to himself, “Yeah, it is…it’s so…” He stopped for a second as he could feel Brian caressing him gently from behind. Justin closed his eyes and enjoyed the warmth of the man’s body, and let himself be lost in the now familiar sensations. “…empty.” Brian finished Justin’s sentence in a whisper. “That’s not what I wanted to say.” Justin smiled, his eyes still closed, “I wanted to…” But Brian cut him off, “Are you planning on talking more on this stage than I usually do?” He asked softly, burying his face in the boy’s silky hair. Justin sighed and answered quietly, “I didn’t come here for talking.” “Good.” Brian whispered and turned Justin around again so he could face him now, “What did you come here for then?” Instead of saying something Justin grabbed the back of Brian’s neck and pulled him in for a long and passionate kiss. The man embraced the blonde’s trembling lithe body tightly in response and deepened the kiss as if it was the last time he could do it. While his tongue kept on stroking the boy’s delicate mouth, his hand reached down to rub his growing bulge too. Justin moaned into the kiss and unbuttoned his own pants to give Brian’s hand better access. While the man was stroking his rock hard erection, Justin started to unbutton Brian’s shirt and take it off of him. The soft material landed on the floor of the stage without a sound, followed by Justin’s shirt in a minute. Brian pushed Justin down on the floor, making the boy gasp as the coldness hit his back. He slowly lowered himself on Justin, kissed his lips softly then whispered, "Have you ever performed onstage, Justin?" The blond shook his head to let him know he hadn't and Brian smiled playfully as he said, "Well, you're about to now."
