Next chapter I promise more charcters! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Loves secrets Chapter 3 Loft Love Justin padded around the loft getting everything ready for his and Brian’s date. He was alone since Brian still had some papers to go over. Justin wasn't mad or offended at the way Brian had brushed him off earlier; he was well aware of how much Kinnetik meant to Brian, and what it represented. Apparently, in the years before he was working at Vanguard, which was then the most successful ad agency in Virginia. After three years of working under Vance Gardner, Brian had finally had enough when Vance passed what could be one of the company's biggest accounts over to a mediocre junior partner who was married with the same number of children as he had bathrooms in a suburban hetero home. Since then, after many months of crippling debts and black going on Vance’s part, Kinnetik Inc. has been born. Justin's thoughts turned back to tonight's event as he laid a blanket on the loft's floor. Tonight was Brian's pop quiz in four picnics. True, when Justin first told him about four picnics he grimaced, but to his credit he had tried and failed miserably. Afterwards Justin had decided Brian needed serious schooling on the art of floor picnicking. He planned the first one on the bed to ease him into it. He couldn't help smiling as he remembered the night they were sitting on the bed with a plate of grapes, strawberries, cheese and two glasses of wine “Okay,” Justin started. "These are the main floor picnic foods. They each have their own meaning. First, the wine and grapes. They’re romantic and soft. You feed them to each other." “Why?” “Because it's sweet, dumbass.” Justin smiled to show he wasn’t really serious. “Now, the part you’ll like. Strawberries. They’re romantic, but sexier than the other foods.” “Strawberries are sexy?” Brian asked with a raised eyebrow. Justin sighed, but soon grinned as a thought entered his mind. “Clearly this is not working for you. So, I suggest another method. Something a little more hands-on.” Justin moved closer to Brian and ran the strawberry over the brunette's lips. Brian opened his mouth slightly expecting the blonde to feed it to him. Instead Justin led the strawberry lower on Brian's body. When the strawberry hit Brian's naval, Justin started to lap up the juice trail the fruit left behind. He started at Brian's lips and when Justin finally got to Brian's naval the brunette was relieved assuming that Justin was going to continue down to his cock. Instead, Justin stuck the tip of the strawberry into his mouth and moaned around it. Brian's dick twitched as Justin continued his sucking. Then Justin crawled up Brian's body with the berry still in his mouth. Justin hung over Brian on all fours expectantly. Finally, Brian brought his head in and took the rest of the strawberry. As they both brought their teeth down on the fruit Justin's mouth filled with sweet tangy juice. He chewed on it a bit, then brought his head back and moaned as it slid down his throat. Brian was so mesmerized with the sight he never noticed the only remains of his strawberry, a line of juice, dripping down his chin. When Justin brought his head back to look at Brian he quickly pushed Brian down on the bed and licked the rest of the juice off of Brian. But this time, when he was going back up, he was stopped by Brian. The brunette rolled Justin on his back and was ready to devour the boy when Justin spoke out. “Wait, the food. It's going to fall all over the bed.” “Mmm…don't care,” Brian said continuing his sucking. Predictably, just as Brian was about to take Justin’s dick in, the plate flipped over and sent the fruit and wine all over Brian's duvet. “Fuck!” “I think I can refrain from an I told you so.” “Will you just help me get this off before it stains?” “Told you so.” “I thought you weren't going to say that?” “I lied.’ Once everything was cleaned up and the boys returned to the freshly sheeted bed, Brian warily asked, “What about cheese?” “Huh?” “Cheese. It was on the plate and is currently under me,” Brian said as he pulled out a newly squished what-was-at-one-point-a-cube of cheese. “Cheese isn't sexy.” “Of course not.” “Then why was that on the plate?” Justin merely shrugged and said, “I like cheese.” The oven ding-ed and Justin ran over to the rarely used kitchen. Brian really did want to have a relationship with Justin, but his disgust for anything romantic threatened to loom over the relationship until one day they compromised. Brian and Justin would try to do three lamenting things a month (this was often broken because of work) and afterwards they would have rough sex everywhere in the loft. Often the next day Justin wouldn't be able to sit without flinching and Brian would spend the night at Babylon. Just didn't hesitate telling his best friend, Daphne, of the arrangement. Daphne being Daphne was originally worried and convinced that this could only end badly. She asked him if he was really okay with Brian fucking other guys, especially after his college “romance” with Ethan, a violinist that also attended PIFA. In all honesty, Justin sometimes wondered what a monogamous relationship with Brian would be like. But he knew that neither of them was ready for that. Daphne, though she may not have understood, accepted it and was always there for him when he and Brian had big arguments. Usually they were arguing about the secrecy of the relationship. Justin just could understand sometimes why had to be a secret from Brian's friends. One night Justin had come to the loft to pick up a sketchbook he had left there, knowing Brian would be at Babylon with his friends. However, when he got there Brian was in his bed clearly drunk with a brunette in a T-shirt with the superhero on it standing at the end of the bed. Suddenly the brunette turned towards Justin and sighed. “How the hell did you get in here?” Thinking quickly Justin said, “The door was open.” “Oh, well, if you were hired for the night then you're fired. Your services are no longer required.” “And why is that?” With a false sense of superiority, the brunette said, “He's had enough for tonight.” “You think you are enough?” Justin asked with a raised eyebrow, offended that the trick thought he was a hustler. “Not that is any of your business Blondie, but I'm his best friend and you’re just a trick.” Justin was starting to get irritated, when he suddenly realized that the brunette was not a trick but in fact the Michael that he had heard so much about from Brian. He so badly wanted to shoot the man down by saying he was Brian's boyfriend, but knew that he couldn't. Still, he refused to pretend to be the “hired help” just because Brian had such an irrational fear of what his friends would think. “And not that it's any of your business, but I'm not a trick. I work at Kinnetik. I’m Brian's art director. I'm here to pick up some files.” Michael's face scrunched up with that remark. “Oh, well get whatever you came for and leave because Brian is... sick.” Yeah, and I'm straight, Justin thought. “Sunshine?” came a groggy voice from the bedroom. Justin panicked slightly but quickly calmed as he realized there was no way the man would ever make the connection. “Sunshine... that's a little nickname he has for me. I better go check up on him,” the man/child stuttered and exited to the bedroom. Justin had to stop himself from laughing his ass off. He spotted his sketchbook on the coffee table and as he went to work he could see into the bedroom and noticed how horrible Brian looked with sunken eyes and gray skin. Justin's worries quickly grew and it was all he could do not to run up and hold Brian in his arms. “Are you done?” Michael piped up from his place at the end of the bed. “Hm? Oh, yeah. I'll just be going now, bye.” The blonde could barely bring himself to leave Brian but knew that he would come back when Michael left. Justin spent another hour outside the Tremont building waiting for Michael to leave so he could look after Brian. After another 20 minutes Justin idly wondered if Michael planned to spend the night but was relieved when he saw him walk out the door. He slunk down so there was no chance he would be seen. He was confused when he noticed Michael was taking Brian's jeep but brushed it off. His first priority right now was Brian. When the car drove out of sight Justin quickly jumped out of his car and ran back into the building, never more thankful for the key Brian had given him a few weeks ago. He took the stairs since the elevator would take too long. When he finally got to the top floor he opened the loft door and as he went to set off the alarm he noticed it had never been turned on. Then he went back to the loft bedroom and sighed as he saw Brian sleeping on his bed. He slowly sat down on the bed and held Brian against him. He must have taken some really bad E. Justin thought as he looked closer as Brian. Suddenly Brian groaned and he could vaguely hear the words, “Sunshine, is that you?” “Shhh, Brian I’m here now.” He could clearly feel Brian's body relax at that. Then Brian said, “Sunshine’s gotta go. Have to hide him from Mikey.” “Why Brian, why do you have to hide Sunshine from Mikey?” “Because it's too real. No going back after that. Could lose Sunshine, but can't pretend Sunshine was never there.” Brian woke up the next morning insanely hung over with a confused Justin in his bed. He could remember the night before and Justin never told him, but after that there were a lot less fights about them being a secret. As Justin brought the rest of the food to the blanket on the floor, he heard one of his favorite dance songs start on the radio. He ran over to the system and put it up louder. He started dancing along to the thumpa-thumpa beat. He squealed and almost jumped out of his skin when a strong pair of arms wrapped around him from behind. “Brian! You practically scared the shit out of me!” “It's not my fault, how do you expect me to refrain myself when you're dancing around my loft swaying your ass in nothing but a robe?” “I thought old men were supposed to have more self-control?” “Well, is a good thing I’m not old then or I might be able to control myself from doing this...” Brian then raised Justin off the ground and kissed him passionately on the lips. They just seem to last forever even though it was probably no more than a few minutes. When they both came up for air, Brian asked Justin if everything was ready for their date. Justin could only respond with a dazed stare.
