“I can’t believe I’m paying someone to make my sister look like a freak.” Justin states dryly as he watches his sister get her hair dyed. “Don’t listen to him,” Molly states to the stylist. “He doesn’t understand fashion.” Justin rolls his eyes, “Whatever, Sis.” Smiling, she claps her hands together, “I can’t wait to see how it’s going to look when it’s done!” “Your new nickname is going to be Flamingo,” Justin announces as he picks up a magazine and skims through the pages. “Shut up, Dork.” “Sure thing, Flamy.” “You can at least try to be supportive, you know,” Molly whines. Justin chuckles, “Okay. I’ll direct you to the nearest circus.” “Justin!” She frowns at him. Justin looks up, and smiles, “Shit, Molly. I was only kidding. Don’t be so sensitive… besides, it’s your hair.” “Hmpf!” She snorts. He chuckles, shaking his head, “Okay, fine. I’m sure you’ll look lovely with bright pink hair.” “Thank you, Justin,” Molly replies, knowing full well that her brother was full of shit. He gives her his trademark grin before returning to his magazine. She shakes her head, muttering, “Any similarity between you and a human is purely coincidental.” Justin laughs, “Hey, that’s a good one.” She returns the grin, “I know. Sometimes I amaze myself.” He chuckles, “You’re going to be scary when you’re sixteen.” “Thanks!” She replies brightly. Rolling his eyes, Justin asks the stylist, “So how long is going to take to turn my sister into a crazy-ass pink princess?” Molly laughs, “I like that! Maybe I can find a shirt that says that…” Justin shakes his head, wondering if his mind worked that way when he was twelve. Checking his watch, he asks again, “Is this going to take all day?” The stylist chuckles, “A little impatient?” “No, I just have better things to do.” He replies honestly. “Oh yeah?” She asks, “How about you tell me about them.” Justin laughs, “Do I look like a people person to you? Because I’m not.” The stylist laughs while Molly simply shakes her head, warning her, “Don’t encourage him.”
