Justin hopped of the stage, and stretched like a cat. He walked over to the photographer and smirked. “Tell me when haven’t I been great,” and with that Justin walked away with a flock of people behind him. “Asshole,” murmured the photographer. Pittsburgh Same day The harsh weather was at its best today, cold winds and drizzling rain, bought an eerie atmosphere to the usual brightness of Liberty Avenue. A young man who looked like he was twenty-one entered Liberty Diner, he was welcomed to the soft buzzing of cheesy music and best of all warmth. He walked towards a booth that was already vacated with three other males. “I am so going to audition,” said Emmett “You are not,” gasped Ted “I think it’ll be funny.” Laughed Michael. The three boys were so engrossed with their conversation they didn’t even see Brian slip in beside Michael, and giving him a peck on the cheek. “Hello boys,” said Brian “Hey Bri,” grinned Michael noticing he was there. Ted and Emmett ignored him, and carried on their pervious conversation. “Look Em you’ll make a fool out of yourself,” said Ted exasperated. “Who said?” said Emmett. “I just don’t want you to get your hopes up,” replied Ted sincerely. “Come on Teddy, its just one audition,” said Michael rolling his eyes. “Fine. But don't say I didn't warn you." “Can someone fill me in?” asked Brian. “There is an audition, and Em has signed up for it,” beamed Michael. “Oh so your going for the part of Dorothy, I always thought you’d be perfect to skip down the yellow brick lane with Toto beside you,” said Brian pointing at Ted. Michael and Emmett laughed out loud. “No it’s a modelling audition,” said Michael Brian looked up at Ted. “Maybe next time Teddy boy,” said Brian with his trademark smirk. “Do you always have to annoy me”? “Of course it would be like not having my coffee in the morning.” Ted was about to say something when Debbie approached their table. “Okay boys order up.” As usual she was dressed for the part as the best fag hag in town. The boys rattled of their orders, and Debbie jolted them down, she gave Michael a quick kiss before placing their order. “So who wants to try out with me? said Emmett “Not me," replied Ted grumpily. “Like anyone wants to see your face splattered across half of the world," said Brian. “Shut up Bri. I’ll go with you Em but just as a cheering squad.” Michael continued “And don’t make any remarks about me wanting to be a cheerleader Kinney,” said Michael. Brian quickly shut his mouth. “Geez you two freak me out,” said Ted. “So Bri you wanna try out with me,” said Em hopefully, he knew that Brian would have more of a shot than he would, but he was kind of hoping that. Knowing his home life if Brian got this he would be settled. He could earn himself enough money, and stop working three different jobs to pay for schoolbooks. Even getting his scholarship from Carnegie Mellon, Brian worked so he could save enough money for a small place of his own. “Come on Bri, I dare you,” said Michael. Thanking Michael mentally, he knew what Brian would say. “You're on”
