Beta: Helen Banner: Helen Proof: G.M. Justin walked around the neighborhood for a while; of course being Debbie she lived really close to Liberty Avenue so being in the state he was in, it was only natural to end up at ‘Woody’s’ drinking Beam. He didn’t want to feel the vodkas' effect; he wanted Beam, the drink of the most insufferable, wonderful asshole he knew. Of course, there had to be a bartender tonight that knew him and knew of him and Brian. So, around one in the morning, when Justin was already three sheets to the wind, he suddenly felt the firm arms of the reason for his drunkenness. Brian: “Come along sunshine.” Justin: “You lloooove me, I knew yous did bits (laughs) not um. This much (steps aside and opens his arms wide which cause him to lose balance) I fell.” (Laughs uncontrollably on ground) Brian picks Justin up and helps him walk straggly to the corvette; after he got Justin safely in the passenger seat he walked around to the drivers' seat. He should have known that surprise would have opened a new door to everything. Brian thought about going to the loft then he remembered that Gus would be coming over tomorrow so of course he had to get some things ready for the boy. He decided to head to Britin because if they were going to fight about it, then he would want to do it there. He pulled out his cell phone to call Deb. Brian: “Hey Deb.” Debbie: “Brian, did you find Sunshine?” Brian: (smiles) “Yes, he was at Woody’s drinking it away, Tony the bartender called me.” Debbie: “Okay good. Why didn’t you tell him, you little asshole?” Brian: “This is a conversation that I will have with your dear little Sunshine when he wakes up.” Deb: “What do you want to do about tomorrow?” Brian: “Come out to Britin, we’ll have dinner there.” Deb: “Are you sure?” Brian: “Yeah, I mean, Gus will be staying there and Justin won’t be in the mood for long car rides. Plus I know you’ve been dying to see it.” Deb: “Okay we’ll be over a little after one.” Brian: “Later.” (With that Brian hung up the phone and continued to drive) Deb’s house Everyone was still there. After Gus revealed everything all hell broke loose, to say the least. Everyone wanted to know why they hadn’t seen Britin and why Justin didn’t know. Of course, Jason wanted to know what the hell Britin was, and then Emmett told him the story which caused Brian to get pissed off and go outside for a smoke, which caused Michael to go out there. Few hours earlier Brian was leaning against the oak tree in Deb’s yard looking up at the sky when he heard the door closing, knowing it was Mikey because Justin would have already been ripping him a new asshole. Mikey: “So, why didn’t you tell Justin about Britin?” Brian: “He would have come back.” Mikey: “And we didn’t want that?” (Finishes with a small smile) Brian: “We did, but on his terms.” Mikey: “Oh, okay, what are you going to do about Jason?” Brian: “I don’t know.” Mikey: “You are a very strange man.” Brian: “You’re pathetic.” Mikey: “Yeah, yeah. You have fifteen minutes before my mother comes and gets you.” Brian: “Thanks.” With that Michael turned around and headed inside; Jason was the next to come out. He had been waiting for time alone with Brian. Jason slowly walked up to Brian, he had been feeling weaker but he knew he had to deal with things first. Jason walked in front of Brian. Jason: “Hey,” Brian: “Hey, how are you feeling?” Jason: “Okay, how are you?” Brian: (laughs) “That’s the million dollar question.” Jason: “Do you love me Brian?” Brian: “Why do you ask?” Jason: “I just want to know if I am going to be able to spend the last few days I have here… with you.” Back with Brian and Justin… Brian pulled into the garage of Britin. After he turned off the engine of the corvette he looked at the sleeping blond next to him. Brian: “Justin, wake up.” Slowly his eyelids opened and looked into Brian’s. Justin: “Where am I?” Brian: “I brought you to Britin…” Suddenly he was very aware Justin: “Why? So you can propose to me again?” With that Justin fell back asleep and for once Brian was grateful. He knew bringing him here would provide more questions and some that he was sure he was unready to answer. Brian slowly carried Justin inside, he couldn’t believe it but he only carried him far enough into the front living room, where everything changed for their relationship. After getting Justin seated he walked back into the kitchen to make coffee. It was already close to three am but he knew that they needed to talk if they were going to have a chance to sleep. As he walked back to the living room, Justin was starting to wake up; he was greeted by deep blue eyes. Brian: “Here, coffee.” Justin: “Thanks.” Justin tentatively takes the mug from Brian and inhales the deep aroma before taking a sip. Justin: “Why are we here?” Brian: “I figured we could talk.” Justin: (laughs) “Why now? We didn’t talk in the five years we were together.” Brian: “I know.” Justin: “Why didn’t you ever tell me you had been in a relationship? Why did you keep something that big away from me? Why do you still have Britin? Why do you bring Gus here and never tell me?” By now Justin was pacing around the room trying to control his voice and the tears. Knowing that having this talk when he was barely sober and talking in the one place - the room that changed everything - the one thing that was supposed to bring them closer together effectively torn them apart. Brian watched Justin feeling completely responsible for the fact that he had been the one to keep things from Justin who on many occasions asked him to share something. He loved the blond, knowing that bring him here, the room that changed everything for them was either going to finally break them or pull them together. Brian: “I Know I’m an asshole but Justin…” Justin: “What is this? Where you tell me that you want Jason, that I will always be special to you. What is it Brian? Because if you are going to break me again I need to know.”
