Michael's POV
"Well, it's about fucking time,” Ma says opening the door. "I love you too, mom," I remark offering her a warm smile. "Where's Sunshine?" She peers behind me, obviously hoping to see Justin. "Home with Brian," I explain. She folds her arms across her chest. "Why didn’t you bring him?" "Because, he’s taking Brian to our apartment." "Oh okay... Wait did you say he is with Brian? Not Brian Kinney?" "The one and only," I grin. "Fucking Christ! When did the asshole get into town?" "He just got here this afternoon. I told you all week he was coming." "Well, shit. I didn't believe the fucking asshole would actually come back." "Well, believe it because he did." I almost can't believe it myself. Brian is back. I've truly miss him. I really thought my world had ended the day... the day he left. Luckily, I met Justin that night. He was as lost I was. Justin. If Brian had not left, I may have never met Justin. Justin is second best thing that walked into my life, and I have never been happier. Of course, Brian is the first. If it wasn't for him, I may have never survived the ninth grade. I know Brian has broken my heart on more than one occasion, but it really isn't his fault. He didn't make me fall for him. I don't blame him for leaving either. Sometimes you have to give up the things you love, right? I wouldn't have changed a thing. Sure, I wish Brian had stayed. And since I was thirteen, all I wanted was him. How different my life would have been if it had happened. But it didn't, and now I have Justin. He is all mine, and I'm all his. Still, there was a moment when I found Brian at Babylon–it felt like he had never left. And when he kissed me... "And why in the hell didn't you bring Brian over here?" Ma’s willful voice interrupts my thoughts. I roll my eyes. "Because he just got here, Mom. I want him to get some rest before I take him in front of the firing squad." And when he kissed me, it was just like old times. "You better bring him over to the diner tomorrow." "I will, mom." "Good. Now, what am I going do about this big ass television?" "I can fix it, mom." "You... When I called you, I didn't realize I needed to pray for a miracle." "Well, consider you prayers answered." "Ah huh."

Pouting out the window, from frustration I suppose, Justin sits quietly in the passenger seat. He only utters directions when necessary. Seeing his full bottom lip protruding out just a wee bit, I wish nothing more than to suck on it. What?! You don't believe me? Fine, so I want more than just a taste of his lip. Sue me. I suck on my own lips rubbing my tongue against them hoping to find a remaining taste of the blonde’s essence lingering on them. God, he is so fucking... fuckable. "What," he asks feeling my eyes upon him again. I shrug. "Nothin'. Just wondering how much further Mikey's place is." "OUR place is coming up on the next block. You just park next to that car over there. We live just across the street." I follow Justin's directions to the front of Buzzy's old comic store. "You guys live in a comic book store?" I notice a large cut out of a super hero who looks an awful lot like me. The corners of my lips curl up at the sight of it. Oh, Mikey. I shake my head in amusement. The figure holds a sign which reads "RAGE is HERE." "No, we live above the store. But you could always stay in motel if you have a problem crashing at our apartment above Michael's store." "Now you know it would break Mikey's heart if I didn't stay with you two," I say smugly. "Breaking his heart wouldn't be anything new to you," he states coldly.

"Mom, what the fuck did you do," I whine dumbfounded on how to fix the TV. "What do you mean what did I do? The TV did it!" "Some how I don't think it did that all by itself." "Well, it did. The fucking thing has a mind of its own, and it doesn't like us. It never has and never will. The only one it likes is Justin. He's the only one who can get the damn thing to work. You should have brought him." She shakes her head. "Poor, Sunshine. I can't believe you left him alone with Brian Fucking Kinney." What is she talking about? What’s so wrong about leaving Justin with Brian? "Why?"

Justin unlocks the store, and we walk in. I take a quick glance around Mikey's store. It looks very much the same as it did years ago except for a few changes, like murals of several comic heroes painted along one of the walls. I shake my head. I remember spending quite a few afternoons here with Michael after school. "God, I love it here, Brian. If I could, I would live here," remarks a fifteen year old Michael. "Come on, Mikey, you practically do live here," I say continuing to flip through the comic book I was only pretending to read. "Oh my God, Brian, have you seen anything more beautiful in your entire life," he asks. I lift my eyes to catch the sight of a young man in his early twenties walk in. "Not since last night," I smirk. "Last night? Oh, Brian, not the guy. This..." Michael holds a comic book in my face. "I guess that is nice too, Mikey." I tilt my head so I can keep my eyes on the trick. "Nice? Briiiiian, this is Captain Astro's first comic book! This is the Holy Grail. There are only 100 copies made, and I'm going to own one someday... You know it would be great if we had our own comic book." "Our own comic book?" I chuckle. "I hate to bust your bubble, but nobody will want to read about two young gay men. Well, maybe old pervs who will whack off to us." "Gross, Brian." "But you can really blame them? We are young and hot." "Well, you are hot." "You’re hot too." "No, I'm not." "Believe or not, Michael Novotny, you are hot and if you open your eyes, you’d see I'm not the only who one knows that." There is another stand up figure of the hero Rage, but Rage is also with a man who looks exactly like Michael. The only difference is that he has a bigger chest with a muscular body that Michael could only dream of having. And next to the character which reads Zephyr is the perfect likeness of the blonde, Justin. There was no alteration to him. He wears only a white t-shirt and jeans instead of a super hero outfit. He just seems genuine, real. "You coming," Justin asks impatiently. "Yeah, I'm cumin'." Justin sighs and takes off leading the way up the stairs to their apartment. I grin wickedly as I enjoy the view of Justin's bubble butt. My cock presses painfully against my pants as though it is trying to get a better look. God, he must be tight, real tight. It’s so sad that probably no one gets to sink into it. Michael is a bottom and has only topped once in all the time I have known him. It is such a waste, such fucking waste.

"You okay," asks Carl as he hovers over me. Carl had married my mom a few months back. He had even asked me for her hand. Now at first, I hadn't cared much for the man, but he has grown on me. And over all, he is a good man, and he is good to my mom. He makes her happy and in the end, that is all that really matters. "Yeah, I'm alright. It is just... Um, I don't get why this isn't working," I tell him. Since Ma put the thought into my head that leaving Justin with Brian wasn't such a great idea, I can't seem to shake it. Thanks, Mom. Maybe she was right, but they needed time to get to know each other. They both are the two most important people in my life. "Pressing this button should have fixed it." I quickly scan the instructions in case I missed something. "All this technology is great and all, but is it too much to ask for it to be easy to run? I may be a detective, and don't get me wrong I love the TV, but running it is a cold case which I will never get solved." I nod. "Tell me about it. If I had known that it was going to such a pain in ass to run, I would have never gotten it for you guys." "It's the thought that counts," he says patting me on the back. "Come on, Carl. I called Ted and he said we could come over and watch with him and Blake. So let's hurry before we miss the beginning." "But Mom..." "Is it fixed?" "No," I mumble. "I didn't think so. Michael, now you listen to me and listen good, kiddo," she warns. "You better not hurt my Sunshine. Brian will never love you the way Justin loves you. I really like my future son-in-law. He's a great kid, and you are darn lucky to have him." "I know, Ma." "No, I don't think you do. Besides, I wasn't finished. Now where was I?" "I'm darn lucky to have him..." "That’s right, and if you fuck it up because of Brian, I'll kill you then I'll kill Brian. I'm not kidding, Michael. God knows I love that asshole, Brian, too, but he can be plain trouble sometimes. And he isn't worth ruining your relationship with Justin, so don't let him. You understand?" "Mom, you have nothing to worry about. I love Brian, but I'm not in love with him. Not anymore. I'm in love with Justin, and Brian being here won't change that," I explain. She stares into my eyes looking for truth behind my words. "It better not. Now get over here and give your mother kiss, then go rescue my Sunshine."
