Brian closed the fridge after grabbing the bottle of water for Justin. Brian looked at Liam who had been following him since he had come home. “Liam Andrew Kinney-Taylor, spill it. What did you do?” Liam bit his lower lip. His father only used his whole name when he was dead serious. “I’m sorry,” he said and showed Brian that he had broken his father’s pen. Brian didn’t know what to say. His son looked so chagrined because of it and on top of that Brian was actually stunned. He didn’t know why Liam was confessing to it. Liam only confessed only after he was caught. Brian looked at his son who looked so much like Justin. He loved both of then so much. “It’s okay.” Liam looked up. “You shouldn’t break other people’s things,” Brian said. “But I’m sure you didn’t mean to and you did a great thing by admitting to it.” Liam bit his lower and sniffed. Brian squatted down and kissed his son on the forehead. “Don’t worry about it,” Brian assured him. “No!!” Illona yelled from the living room. Brian sighed. “Here, take this to your father.” Liam nodded and took the bottle of water before he left. Brian then went to the living room where Illona was on the sofa practically trying to climb on the wall as Sheridan laughed and tried to put a lizard on her. Brian went to stop his son. “Where did you get that?” Brian asked. The boy surely kept him on his toes. Sheridan offered the animal to his father and Brian shook his head. “I don’t think so,” he said and picked Illona up. “Stop tormenting your sister,” he told his son in a firm voice. Sheridan opened his hand and the lizard jumped away and onto the sofa. Brian sighed and walked away. He wasn’t dealing with that right now. Only one crisis at a time he thought to himself. He put Illona on the floor and the girl took off running. “What’s going on?” Justin asked as he came out of the bedroom. He could barely move now that he was nine months pregnant. “It’s your son,” Brian told him. “He’s doing what he does best.” Justin walked to the living room and found Sheridan and Keefe with the plastics hammers they had gotten for their birthdays. They were apparently hammering the sofa. “One...two...five,” Sheridan yelled as he banged his plastic hammer against the sofa. Brian smiled and looked at Keefe who was doing the same. “What are they doing?” Justin asked. “I think killing the damn lizard,” Brian informed him. Justin frowned. “There is a lizard in the house!” There was a knock on the door. “Guys!” Chris yelled as he went inside. “Are you here?” “Hey,” Justin said. “What’s going on?” “I just came to see you,” Chris informed them. “Where are Vicky and Andrew?” Brian asked. “With Debbie, my mom and my dad,” Chris said. “I’m telling you something is going on.” “What do you mean?” Justin asked frowning. Chris sighed. “I have so much to tell you.” “Come tell me in the kitchen,” Justin suggested. “I’m hungry.” “Daddy!” Fiona said as she ran to Brian. “Green!” Brian frowned and took the yellow Tonka truck from her. “This is yellow baby girl.” “Green,” Fiona told him. “That’s yellow,” Brian said. “Green,” Fiona said as she lifted the brown teddy bear. “That’s brown,” Brian told her. “Bown,” Fiona repeated and smiled at his father. “Green,” she said touching Brian’s black pants. “No, I think it’s an obsession you have with green young lady,” Brian smirked. “That’s black.” “Back,” Fiona said. Brian picked her up and kissed her before he let her go. Then he walked to the kitchen where Justin was listening to Chris while he stuffed his face with pie. Liam was sitting in the kitchen table writing something in a notebook. He was about to sit down when the loud noise from the radio blasted throughout the house. “Ah,” Justin gasped and jumped slightly. “Fuck.” Brian sighed as he looked at Liam and then at Justin. “Sorry,” Justin told him. “What’s going on? Turn that off!” Brian went back to the living room to find Sheridan next to the stereo. Keefe hand both his hands covering his ears. “Turn it off,” Brian told him. Sheridan had his finger sticking out over the button. He looked at his father and raised his brows. “Turn it off, young man,” Brian repeated. “Huh?” Sheridan asked. “I’m not playing,” Brian said. “Turn it off.” “Huh?” Sheridan giggled. Brian took a step forth. “Turn it off,” he raised his voice. Sheridan pouted and then pushed the button, turning the radio off. Brian shook his head. “My nos,” Sheridan shrieked and smiled as he held his nose. Chris who had followed Brian arched a brow. “What is he doing now?” “Lately he’s taken to tell you what everything is every time you chastise him. He knows where his eyes are located, his hair, his mouth, his tongue, his nose and starts counting up ‘til five,” Brian explained. Chris laughed at that. “A new tactic to look innocent.” “Yes,” Brian smirked. “He’s adorable when he does it.” Chris rolled his eyes. Brian picked Sheridan up and shook his head. “You’re misbehaving, Dan.” Sheridan pouted and rested his head on his father’s shoulder. “I good.” “Brian,” Justin said. “I think we have a problem here.” “Justin you’re as red as a tomato,” Chris told him. “I don’t feel too good,” Justin told them. “I feel like I just drank a whole lake and I have a fish going around in circles and it’s starting to hurt.” “We’re going to the hospital,” Brian told him. *** Chris had talked to the family and was going back to where Brian and Justin were. He was happy that he had been able to stay with Brian and Justin. He watched in awe as the newborn was removed from Justin, and then to everyone’s surprised even the doctor, there was a second baby. “The family can’t wait to come inside,” Chris said to Brian who was holding his daughter. “Can I pick him up?” Brian nodded. “Jesus,” Chris muttered. “This is a miracle.” Brian looked at Justin whose eyes fluttered. Brian kissed Justin’s lips. “Hey,” he whispered. Justin opened his eyes to find Brian holding a baby and staring at him. He stared for a few minutes and then sat up slowly feeling a bit of pain. Then he looked at Chris who was holding another baby. “Are you okay?” Brian asked. Justin nodded. “What’s going on?” Brian put the baby on Justin’s lap. “It’s a girl.” “And a boy,” Chris informed him. “We were surprised.” “How can that be?” Justin asked. “She was hiding behind him,” Brian explained as he walked over to Chris to pick up his boy. “Wow,” Justin said as he held her. She had the bluest eyes he had seen along with a head full of brown honey hair and Brian’s skin color. She felt so tiny but he could tell she was going to be tall by looking at her arms and legs. “She’s beautiful Brian. Oh god, this came out of me.” “Yeah,” Brian told him. “I helped a bit you know.” Justin nodded. “I know. Can I hold him too?” Brian nodded and placed his boy in his husband’s arms. He smiled liked a fool watching Justin and his two newborns. “Wow,” Justin swallowed hard and tears started falling down. He wished he could remember what it had been like holding his other kids when they were that big. “Don’t cry,” Brian muttered. “I’m going to tell the others,” Chris said knowing that Brian and Justin needed to be alone for a while. Brian nodded and turned to look back at Justin. “This is a happy moment.” “Yeah,” Justin agreed. “You’re right.” Brian picked up the girl again. He smiled at Justin and sat in the bed with the blond. “He looks so much like you, Brian,” Justin commented as he stared at the boy’s green eyes, chestnut hair and bronze skin. Brian nodded. “They’re so tiny,” Justin said almost giggling. “Wow.” Brian leaned forward and kissed Justin. “They’re beautiful.” “What are we going to name them?” Justin asked. “We never talked about it,” Justin pointed out. “Well, Jack’s the one who always named all of them,” Brian said. “Oh, really,” Justin muttered. “Well, what is he waiting for then?” Brian smirked. “Guys,” Craig said coming into the room. “Oh wow.” “I see where you get your stunned words from,” Brian whispered to Justin. Justin laughed. “Want to hold him, dad?” Craig nodded and walked over to Justin. “I want to see,” Debbie informed them as she made her way over to Justin. “Are you okay?” “Fine,” Justin whispered with a little smile. “I’m just tired.” “Where is Jennifer?” Brian asked. “She’s outside with Denise and Mel,” Jack answered. “They’re coming in a bit. I just wanted to see my grandson and granddaughter.” Not everyone could come in at the same time because the kids couldn’t be left alone. So they waited outside for their turn to come see the babies. “You have to name them,” Justin replied. Jack smiled as he held the girl. “She’s beautiful. This one truly looks every bit like you, sonny boy.” Brian nodded. “Look at him, he’s my spitting image.” “How about the name Aednat?” Jack asked. “It sounds pretty,” Justin told him. “No way,” Brian said. “Look what happen with Sheridan, his name means the wild one.” “How fitting,” Chris replied smiling. Craig laughed and let Debbie take his grandson. Jack laughed. “Okay, Sinead...it means gracious.” “I like that one even better,” Justin said as he looked at his daughter. “Sinead” “What about our little boy?” Brian asked. “Tiernan,” Jack replied. “Little lord.” “I like it,” Brian muttered. “So, do I,” Justin whispered Brian could see that Justin was fighting sleep. He went over to his husband and kissed him. “Go to sleep,” he told him. “I’ll watch over them.” Justin gave him a big smile and did. He was confident that his kids were going to be okay with Brian there. *** Justin smiled when he came home with the twins. His family was there. Debbie and Jennifer were in the kitchen cooking. Emmett and Ted were in the backyard with all the kids except Liam who was sitting with Chris and Melanie in the living room. Craig and Christopher were sitting in the dinning room table talking about sports. Justin sat down with Chris while he held Sinead. “Hey,” Chris said. “Can I hold her?” Justin nodded and let him take his daughter. He smiled when she opened her big blue eyes. Liam pouted and got off the sofa. He walked away to his room. Brian watched him go and decided to have a talk with him later. He was positive that his eldest was feeling left out. “Brian,” Jennifer said with a big smile. “Let me hold my grandson.” Brian let her take Tiernan and then turned to open the door when he heard a knock. He let Molly and Kirk come inside. “This is so great,” Molly informed them as she ogled her new nephew. “You have a full house,” Kirk said smiling at Justin. Justin laughed and nodded. For the rest of the evening everyone was fussing over the babies. Justin took some time to check on the quads. He sat down and had time to eat with Brian thanks to Debbie who kept insisting. After a while everyone started leaving the house. Justin was exhausted. “How are you going to take care of all of them?” Jennifer asked as she grabbed her purse and looked at Justin. “Well,” Justin said. “I’m going to be taking some classes soon. So, Jill is going to take care of them. Then when I come home and I’ll take care of them.” “Aren’t you going to go insane?” Chris asked. “I don’t know,” Justin said frowning and shrugged. “Liam is going to be at school so that will make it a little easier.” Jennifer kissed her son. “If you ever need me for anything, you call me.” Justin nodded at her. “Same goes for me,” Chris assured him. He frowned and looked around. “Andrew.” “What?” Liam answered. “Not you,” Chris told him smirking. Liam pointed at Andrew who was walking towards the hall. “I’ll get him.” Brian was coming down the stairs when he found Andrew walking towards the first step. “What you doing little man?” “U’cle Bwian,” Andrew replied smiling. Brian smiled back and his heart soared. He could see bit’s of Michael in the boy. “Andrew,” Liam took the boy’s hand. “Come on. You can play with me.” Brian looked at them briefly before he kept walking. “Pway,” Andrew repeated. Liam smiled at Andrew. “Come on. You’re the only one that pays attention to me” Brian stood in the hallway and sighed. He had to do something soon. *** Justin finished cleaning Sinead and started putting her diaper on. “Use this,” Brian told him. Justin frowned. “Its cream,” Brian informed him. “She’s starting to get a rash.” “Oh, okay,” Justin said. “I feel like a total ass taking care of them. I don’t know anything.” “That’s not true,” Brian told him. “Right,” Justin murmured but dropped the issue. “We have to talk,” Brian said, his voice turning serious. “You’re scaring me,” Justin told him. “What’s wrong?” “It’s Liam,” Brian replied. “What is it?” Justin asked worried out of his mind. “I think he’s feeling left out,” Brian explained. Justin stared at Brian for a few seconds. “Fuck, this is horrible. Did we do that to him?” “I don’t know,” Brian answered. He pinched the bridge of his nose. “We have been very busy with the twins and the quads.” “Oh god,” Justin said. “What are we going to do?” “I was thinking we could take turns,” Brian said. Justin frowned. “What are you talking about?” “He’s the oldest,” Brian told him. “He needs more of us now than the kids. He needs to know that we’re there for him.” Justin nodded in agreement. “We could take an hour to be just with him,” Brian said. “You could watch the kids for that hour and I’ll take him to the park or to eat.” Justin heard the plan and liked it right away. He wanted Liam to share time with them and not feel left out. “Then the next day you could go with him and I’ll stay with the kids,” Brian drawled as he caressed Sinead’s back. He smiled seeing how she slowly closed her eyes. “I think we should do it,” Justin said. “But, we should also plan it so that some days the both of us can be with him.” Brian smiled and nodded. He wouldn’t get tired of it. Each of his kids was different and made him smile and filled him with happiness. He knew it was critical that they started making arrangement to keep everyone in the family happy before the situation progressed. Yet, he was fine with that. Justin would do everything needed to assure a safe and happy family. “I can’t believe they’re here,” Justin said looking at the twins. “It feels like a dream. Brian was happy that Justin was given the opportunity to know yet again what it felt like to be a parent. He knew it was hard for the blond not to know so many things. “What?” Justin asked noting Brian’s expression. “What’s wrong, Brian?” “Not a thing,” Brian murmured. He bent down and kissed the blond; both of them moaning with pleasure. Sinead started crying. Brian pulled back and groaned. “I remember this part.” Justin laughed. “Later.” Brian nodded and picked Sinead up. He looked at her and smiled when she shut up. “I think she was jealous.” Justin rolled his eyes and sat down in the bed as he started playing with his son. He then noticed Liam on the doorway pouting. “Come here, Liam.” Liam started walking slowly to his father. He took a deep breath and got in the bed. Brian and Justin looked at each other. “Do you want to hold him?” Justin asked. Liam didn’t answer or move. “This is your little brother,” Justin whispered. “You have to take care of him. He’s always going to need you no matter how big he is” Liam nodded slowly and reached out to touch his baby brother. “He’s very little.” “I know,” Brian said and put Sinead next to her twin. “They both are. They need you. Can we count on you?” “Yeah,” Liam said smiling at his parents. “That’s my boy,” Brian told him and pick Liam up. “What do you say we go take a ride?” “Yes,” Liam told him excitedly. Brian winked at Justin. “I’ll see you later. If anything happens, call me.” Justin nodded and watched them go. He was so ecstatic with his family. He loved each one of them very much. He got up and put each kid in their own crib. Then he went to find the quads. He needed to spend time with them as well. He didn’t want them feeling left out like Liam had. He was thankful that they had seen the problem in time. “Papa!” Keefe shrieked. Justin put his hands on his hips and saw the mess that they had done. “What’s going on here?” he asked raising his voice. The quads screamed at the same time with glee before they started running away; each in a different direction. Justin couldn’t help but smile.
