“Hi, Mr. Justin,” a sleepy Gus said as Brian took his son from Lindsay’s arms. “I’m going to put him in his bed,” Brian told him. Justin nodded and motioned to Lindsay and Melanie, “come on inside.” Lindsay stepped inside and Melanie followed her. “Hello,” Melanie told him. “It’s nice to see you again.” Justin nodded and asked, “do you want anything to drink?” “We can’t,” Melanie said. “Suzie is waiting for us.” “Is that your daughter’s name?” Justin asked. “No,” Lindsay said. “That’s the nanny.” “Oh, I see,” Justin smiled. “Come on, let’s sit down. I’m sure you can spare a minute or two.” The three of them sat down. “My daughter’s name is Jenny,” Melanie said breaking the silence. “That’s a pretty name,” Justin told her. “So,” Lindsay smiled, “is Gus behaving?” “He’s being really good,” Justin told the girls. “That’s great,” Lindsay told him. “So how is everything with you girls?” Justin asked not sure if he was supposed to be asking that. “I’ve been...going to therapy,” Melanie said in a whisper. Justin just nodded as he understood it wasn’t something easy to talk about. “It’s all getting better,” Lindsay told him. “Do you think that Brian’s still going to go to court to fight for Gus’s rights?” Melanie asked. Justin sighed. “I think he is.” “Tell him to not bother,” Melanie grabbed her purse and took out some papers. “You’re serious?” Justin asked. Melanie nodded. “I have a daughter and I know that I wouldn’t be able to give her away.” Justin bit his lower lip. “Brian did it to help us,” Melanie grabbed Lindsay’s hand as she continued, “and he shouldn’t have been put in that spot.” Justin took a deep breath happy to hear their decision. Brian was going to be so ecstatic about it. “We have to go,” Lindsay said getting up. “Say goodnight to Brian for us.” “I will,” Justin said and went to the door with them. When he closed the door and turned around Brian was there. “How long have you been there?” “Long enough,” Brian told him walking up to the blond. They hugged and kissed slowly. “I think she’s making progress,” Justin told him. “Mmm,” Brian grunted not sure what to think. He still felt angry towards the woman. “Well,” Justin said grabbing Brian’s hand. “Let’s call it a day.” Brian pulled Justin to him and hugged him tightly. “Thank you.” “For what?” Justin was confused. “For everything,” Brian whispered. “I didn’t do anything,” Justin told him. “Don’t sell yourself short,” Brian kissed him and then rubbed their nose together. Justin smiled at him. “I love you.” Brian smiled from ear to ear. “You’re loved back.” The two of them walked to the bedroom hand in hand wearing identical smiles. *** “This was amazing,” Justin said looking at the magazine. “Brian did a wonderful work with the design and advertisement for the movie.” “He’s a very intelligent man,” Joshua said. “Ted’s so happy that he’s working with him. He didn’t like the fact that he had to leave his old job but he says he likes this one a lot.” “Who would have thought those two would end up working together and enjoying it?” Justin smirked. “Did you like my movie?” “I loved it,” Joshua started laughing, “particularly when you acted like a scared little girl.” “Fuck you, I did not,” Justin laughed. “I was supposed to act scared.” “Justin, everything is ready for you and Brian to get married,” Joshua said changing the subject. “I mean. We have the invitations we only have to give them a date for them to put on them and send them out. We have the clothes, the flowers we’re going to need, the food, the chairs,” Joshua looked at Justin. “I’ll ask Brian what day he wants,” Justin said and then he grinned as he said, “its going to be on July 6.” “Why ask him then?” Joshua asked. “That’s four months from now.” “So he feels important and part of the process,” Justin told him. “You’re bad,” Joshua told him. “I love that man to death, Joshua,” Justin said smiling. “He’s fucking amazing.” “Are we talking about sex?” Joshua asked. Justin hit him in the arm. “No but yeah, he’s fucking marvelous in bed too.” Joshua laughed seeing his cousin’s dreamy face. He frowned when he heard a loud thud. “What was that?” Justin asked looking at Joshua. “I don’t know,” Joshua said very slowly. The two of them walked out of the study. “Guys!” Justin called. Thomas came from the kitchen with a sandwich in his hand. “What’s up?” “Did you hear that?” Justin asked. “It sounded like something breaking.” “I thought it was Brian upstairs,” Thomas said. “He came home and hasn’t come down ever since.” “I’m going to go see what he’s up to,” Justin told them. “Hey, that looks good,” Joshua said. “Don’t even,” Thomas told him. “Kitchen is that way.” “Greedy,” Joshua said smirking and walked to the kitchen. He was about to open the fridge when he heard Justin screaming at someone. He took off running just like Thomas had. “What’s going on?” Joshua asked Thomas when they reached the room. Thomas didn’t answer and entered. “What the fuck!” Justin couldn’t believe it. “Jack,” he muttered. “What are you doing?” Joshua, who was standing by the doorway, started backing away and out of Jack’s view. Francis was about to charge inside Justin and Brian’s room when Joshua grabbed him and pulled him back. “What’s going on?” Francis asked. “I’m supposed to be the one you’re marrying!” they could hear Jack screaming. “He has a knife to Brian’s throat,” Joshua whispered. “Fuck,” Francis said pulling out his gun. “Put it down,” Jack instructed Thomas who had raised his gun at him, “and give it here!” Thomas looked at Justin who was nodding. He did as his boss instructed him. Justin looked at Brian who had his eyes closed. “Brian,” Justin muttered. Jack laughed acidly. “He’s not doing so well,” he stepped back letting Brian’s body drop to the ground and picked Thomas’ gun in one fluid motion. “Have you gone out of your mind?” Justin asked as he looked at Brian’s limp body on the ground and his heart broke as he thought the worst. “Is he dead?” “He’s going to be soon,” Jack assured him as he pointed the gun at Brian, he fired but nothing happened. “What the fuck!” “Safety,” Thomas told him smirking as Francis stepped into the room. “Don’t move,” Francis yelled. Jack frowned and backed away slowly. His thumb took the safety off very discreetly. “This is your fault Justin. You didn’t listen to me. I said I was going to kill him and you didn’t care.” Justin kneeled in front of Brian. “Brian.” “I’m calling the cops,” Joshua said to himself as he still stood outside the bedroom. “You have to pay for this,” Jack hissed pointing at Brian and Justin. Francis didn’t think about it twice and shot Jack. Jack hit the wall and turned towards Francis. He pointed at the older man and fired. Francis fell down while the gun hit the carpet floor. Thomas jumped out of the room searching for cover as he reached for his other gun that was on his ankle. Justin covered Brian’s head and closed his eyes not wanting anything happening to the brunet. “Now you die along with him,” Jack hissed looking at Justin, “or you could be mine Justin. I would spare you.” Justin looked up and glared at the man. “Fuck you!” He preferred dying with Brian that saving himself alone. Jack never got the opportunity to fire another shot as Michelangelo jumped on him. He bit the man’s wrist making him drop the gun to the floor. Jack screamed in pain and punched the dog. Michelangelo let go but when Jack turned around to crawl away the dog bit him on the side just above his waist. “Good dog,” Thomas said as he grabbed Francis’ gun and went for his. “Stop!” Jack screamed in agony as he turned on his back. Michelangelo got to the side and opened his mouth locking Jack to the floor by holding him by the neck with his mouth. “Brian,” Justin said shaking the brunet; his own hands trembling. Brian opened his eyes slowly. “Brian,” Justin said throwing himself at the brunet. “You’re okay.” “How are you doing?” Thomas asked putting pressure on the wound over Francis chest. “Are they okay?” Francis asked. Thomas nodded. “Don’t talk.” “Fucking hell!” Joshua said as he entered the room with caution. “Is everyone okay?” “Yes,” Justin told him. “We need an ambulance right now!” Thomas hissed. Joshua pulled out his cell phone once again to inform the police about everything that had happened since he had left. He had made sure that Ted and Gus were safe while Jack had Brian hostage. Ted had carried Gus away from the gunfire and out of the house. Once that was done Joshua went back to the house to see what was going on; he was glad that his cousin was alive and everyone else too. “Brian, don’t move. You could be hurt,” Justin said when Brian sat up holding his head. “That fucker, I’m going to kill him if he’s not already dead. Are you okay?” Brian asked looking at his blond. “Yeah. We are all okay,” Justin assured him. Brian looked back when he heard Michelangelo’s growl. The rot wailer still had his mouth around Jack’s neck. Brian glared at Jack that was lying very still and bleeding a bit from the neck. “Mich saved us,” Justin said very happy to have the dog. Brian got up slowly and started at Jack. “Remember Mich? He grew up Jack.” “Help me,” Jack muttered. “Fuck you,” Brian told him then to his dog, “good boy.” *** Justin rubbed his eyes and put the paint brush down. He was feeling a lot calmer now. He smiled as he looked at Gus just sitting down holding a toy. Then back at the painting he did of the boy. He would never get tired of painting the kid nor Brian. He went back to finishing the painting. When he was done he got up and saw that Gus was gone. He got up and decided to take a shower. When he got to the bedroom Brian, Gus and Mich were already there playing. “This room is freezing,” Justin told them. “Is not,” Brain argued as he pulled Justin close to him for a kiss. “Mmm,” Justin wanted to devour the man right there but he knew he had to back away. “Kissy!” Gus said lifting his arms. Justin picked him up and kissed him on the check. “I’m going to take a shower.” “I want a shower,” Gus said about to take off his pajamas off. “No,” Brian told him. “You already took a shower.” “I want a shower with Mr. Justin,” Gus shrieked. “Tomorrow,” Justin assured him. “He was raised by fish,” Brian joked and grinned at the blond. Then he looked at his son and said “you’re going to bed, young man.” “No,” Gus protested. Justin kissed him. “Be a good boy Gus.” Michelangelo barked and followed Brian out of the room. Justin went to the a/c and turned it down a bit. He then went and took a shower. When he came out Brian was still outside. He grabbed his music book and started writing a bit. “He’s out for the count,” Brian said coming back in their bedroom. “Good,” Justin said. Brian smiled at Michelangelo and then started petting him. “You’ve been so good.” Justin looked at Brian and smiled. He knew that Brian loved the dog to death. They stayed quiet in the room, Brian playing with the dog and Justin writing. “Okay, go get it” Brian said as he threw the ball at Michelangelo and the dog went to get it. “Brian,” Justin said, “come to bed.” “Are you done?” Brian asked. Justin nodded and watched as Michelangelo came back with the ball. “Tell him to go to his room.” “In a sec,” Brian told him but he kept on playing with the dog for a little while more. “Brian,” Justin protested for the umpteenth time. He had been calling for Brian forever or at least it felt like so. “What?” Brian asked. “Leave him alone and come to bed,” Justin said wanting Brian to play with him now. “Our baby’s jealous,” Brian whispered to Michelangelo. “And Daddy isn’t going to get any if he doesn’t come to bed now,” Justin hissed. Brian straightened out. “To your room Mich.” Michelangelo barked and looked at Justin. He barked again and then left for his room. Brian closed the door and walked over to Justin. “I was just showing him my appreciation.” “Whatever,” Justin mumbled. “You looked like a little kid,” he teased with a big smile in place. “Maybe,” Brian said. “I never had a dog when I was little.” Justin frowned slightly. “Are you okay? How’s your head?” “Yes, I’m fine. Everything’s fine,” Brian told him as he took off his clothes. “I’m going to take a shower.” “Do you need help?” Justin asked worried. He knew how Brian got each time something from his childhood was brought up. “No,” Brian said, “I’m fine.” He left for the bathroom and took a long shower. When he came out Justin wasn’t in the bed. He smiled seeing Justin’s figure outlined outside in the balcony. He dried off and then walked towards his man. “Mmmm,” Justin gasped when Brian attacked his neck. “I’m going to fuck you right here,” Brian told him. “Anyone can see us,” Justin pointed out. “I don’t care,” Brian told him pushing Justin’s underwear down. He opened the condom he had taken before walking towards Justin. He ripped it open and put it on. Justin’s hand’s grabbed the edge of the balcony as Brian pushed inside of him. “Brian!” “Yes,” Brian kissed the back of Justin’s neck. He put his hands on Justin’s hips and held him there. Justin threw his head back as he opened his eyes. Brian kissed Justin’s shoulders next as he pulled back and pushed back in. “My boy,” he hissed. Justin’s blood was boiling. He leaned forth again taking hold of the edge for leverage. He moved in rhythm with the brunet to give him as much pleasure as he was receiving. “Fuck!” Brian hissed as Justin squeezed him hard. One of his hands rested on top of Justin’s. His mouth found the blond’s earlobe and he didn’t have mercy on it. “Ah,” Justin was screaming without a care in the world. Brian was growling and grunting as well. Their bodies were sweaty and rubbing against one another. The air around them playfully hitting their bodies but it couldn’t cool the passion between the two men. One of Justin’s hands grabbed the back of Brian’s thigh as his movements quickened. “Oh,” Justin groaned. “Yes, yes, yes!” Brian buried his nails in Justin’s hip as the blond triggered his orgasm. Both of them shook and reached oblivion together then they floated back down from it. “Mmm,” Justin muttered as Brian pulled away. Brian took a deep breath and got rid of the condom. “Good,” Justin smiled like a total fool. “So good.” Brian sat in one of the chairs and took a deep breath. Justin smiled and went to sit with the brunet. “I need another shower,” Brian told him grinning. He smelled Justin and felt content finding himself imprinted on the blond. “I’ll help you,” Justin smirked and Brian hugged him from behind. “Sometimes when I hold you like this I don’t want anything else from you,” Brian told him. Justin turned his head to look at Brian with a raised brow. “Having you here, holding you like this feels fucking fantastic,” Brian muttered. Justin smiled. “I love you too, Brian.” Brian grinned and they stayed like that for a few more minutes before going to take nothing but a shower; supposedly. *** “So, where’s Ted?” Vic asked. “Isn’t he coming?” “Something came up,” Michael said. “Brian’s company is fairly new. They have to work twice as much.” “True,” Emmett agreed. “So what is it that you’re going to tell us?” Hunter asked. “Really good news,” Michael told them. “Two of them in fact.” “What’s that?” Debbie asked. “Come one I am losing my patience.” “Well, there’s going to be a wedding soon,” Michael told them. “Who’s?” Hunter asked frowning. “Are you getting married Emmett?” “No, honey,” Emmett told him. “Is it Ted?” Debbie asked. “He’s going out with someone. That guy, Joshua. He was nice.” “Yes he’s in a relationship and all that, but it’s not him,” Michael looked at Ben and winked. “Okay let’s put it this way. Ted’s going out with Joshua Taylor and he’s the manager of Justin Taylor.” “Oh my god,” Emmett said. “I knew his name sounded familiar.” “Yeah, well,” Michael said. “Justin Taylor is getting married and we’re all invited.” “Oh god!” Debbie got up. “Are you serious? That’s amazing.” “Wow,” Hunter looked at Ben. “We’re going, right?” Ben nodded and smiled at Michael. He knew the rest of the news as well. “What’s the other news?” Vic asked. Michael walked away from them and to Ben’s bag. He took out a comic book. “I did it!” Debbie got up and grabbed the comic from her. She started reading it with a smile on her face. “Rage.” “Look at this,” Michael said as he opened the page. “Read here.” “Created by...” Debbie sniffed. “Michael Novotney and oh my god, Justin Taylor!” “Yeah,” Michael said. “We brought copies for everyone,” Ben told them. “Wow,” Hunter said picking one and getting up. He went to the kitchen to go for a soda before he sat down to read it. “Wow,” Emmett smiled, “this is all so great.” “Michael, aren’t you forgetting something?” Ben asked. “What?” Michael asked. “Whom is Justin Taylor getting married to,” Ben told him. “Oh,” Michael smiled. “Who is he marrying?” Vic asked. “Oh this guy,” Michael said. “Brian Kinney.” Everyone was quiet as they stared at Michael. “What the fuck did you just say?” Hunter asked. “Brian? Our Brian?” “Oh my god,” Emmett covered his mouth. “I knew Teddy was hiding something from me.” “Don’t feel bad,” Michael told him. “He didn’t want to keep it away from us but Brian would have probably ripped his dick off if he said anything.” “I can’t fucking believe it,” Debbie sat down astounded. “No way. I can die happily.” “Ma,” Michael protested. “Amazing,” Emmett said as he looked at all the pictures of Rage and Zephyr. “This is you and Brian.” “It was Justin’s idea,” Michael told them. Ben got up and walked over to Michael. He got behind him and hugged him. “You’re amazing.” Michael smiled happily how it all had turned out. *** “This place looks fucking amazing,” Melanie said to Lindsay. “I see that,” Lindsay told her. She looked around at all the white candles and roses; all the white silk and cotton fabrics descending from the ceiling in spirals. It was like being caught in the middle of a dream or having a brief glimpse of heaven. “This must be costing a fortune,” Melanie whispered. Lindsay agreed by nodding. Gus got down from her lap and moved towards Debbie. “Hi,” Gus said smiling at Debbie. “Sweetie,” Debbie picked him up. “You’re getting so big.” Gus laughed as she poked him in the belly. “This is amazing,” Vic told them. “I’ll say,” Emmett smiled as he waved at Ted from where he was. Ted moved towards them and sat down. “Hey.” “Aren’t you going to sit with your boyfriend?” Emmett asked. “No,” Ted said. “I’m with my friends plus I sit here because I am a friend of Brian and this is his side.” “I didn’t know Brian knew so many people,” Emmett said. “He does,” Michael said. “He’s a business man and he has to keep everyone close. And being with them from time to time I have learned that even an event like this can be used for publicity.” “Hey, don’t say that,” Emmett told him. “This is a wedding.” “It’s true,” Ted agreed. “It would go on air and all around the world. It would further both of their careers even thought that’s not what they are trying to do.” “Shhh,” Debbie hushed them. “Let me steal this little guy away,” Thomas said picking Gus up. First Daphne came walking down the aisle holding her little girl Tiffany. She was throwing the petals out of the basket and smiling at everyone. Afterwards Gus walked down with the rings and practically flew down the aisle. “He’s so beautiful,” Melanie said. “He looks just like his father,” Lindsay pointed out. Melanie looked at Lindsay and nodded. “Yeah, he does.” “I can’t believe we’re at Brian’s wedding,” Debbie said. “Shh,” Emmett shushed her. “There they are.” Brian and Justin were holding hands and looking at each other. They walked slowly with no rush at all. Brian was wearing a black tux with his tie undone and a white scarf around his neck. Justin was wearing a gray suit with black, thin horizontal lines. He was wearing a black dress shirt and no tie. He looked to die for. When they approached the justice of peace Brian let go of Justin hand. Instead he put his arm loosely around Justin’s waist. Justin smiled widely at him. Everyone could hear the collectives sighs and gasps all around. “We’re gathered here today to create a union with these two wonderful people. They’re here to show each other the love they have for one another,” he spoke with happiness in his voice. Justin was concentrating on Brian only. His heart was beating so fast it could explode. He felt like crying but he wouldn’t. He could control himself. Brian was lost as well as Justin. The man’s speech never reached him. He just looked at the blond that had captivated him and he couldn’t even think anymore. “The rings please,” the J.P. said. Thomas put Gus on the floor and told him to give the rings to his Daddy. Gus went and did as instructed. “I have something to say,” Justin said. The J.P. nodded. Justin started to put the ring on Brian. “I just want you to know that I will always love you. I know that sometimes we can fight until we want to strangle each other but there’s nothing in this world that can keep us apart,” he frowned pushing the tears away. “I love you just the way you’re Brian Kinney and I want to be your husband.” Brian took the ring that he was supposed to put on Justin. The blond wasn’t expecting him to say anything but Brian had other ideas. He cleared his throat and started. “I have loved you since the first day I saw you even if it was a tiny bit.” Justin looked up from the ring to Brian. They stared at each other. “You were sitting in the restaurant,” Brian said. Justin swallowed. The first time he saw Brian had been at the men’s store. “You were wearing a cap and you took it off for a few seconds,” Brian told him. “And two girls came out of nowhere blocking my vision.” Justin was shaking and pushing the tears away. He remembered that day at the restaurant. “I thought wow he’s fucking beautiful, why hide like that?” Brian smirked. “And I imagine myself next to you, kissing you and telling you how beautiful you were. And at that moment I wanted you to want me just as much.” Justin was crying now. He sniffed and cleaned his tears away with his free hand. “I wanted to go there and tell you my name,” Brian caressed Justin’s face. “But that wasn’t me and I just let you go. I never thought someone like you would want someone like me.” Justin smiled widely because Brian hadn’t escaped him. “I almost missed such a wonderful man like yourself,” Brian swallowed. “But destiny intervened and you and I got together. I am happy because I know that I would have regretted it for the rest of my life,” Brian put the ring on. “I love you and I will always love you, each day a little bit more.” “You guys can kiss,” the J.P. said. “These two souls are now joined as one.” Brian pulled Justin to him and kissed him with all his passion overflowing him. Justin just held on to Brian and didn’t want to let go. Everyone got up applauding and smiling, others were spilling happy tears. It was a magnificent sight for those fortunate enough to be there and see so much love between two people.
