Brian opened his eyes and looked around. Justin was already gone. Brian rubbed his belly and wondered if he should get up. He rolled around in bed until he reached the house phone and dialed Justin’s number. “Hey.” Justin answered. “Do you have Liam with you?” Brian asked. “Yes.” Justin told him a little angry. Brian frowned. “Where are you?” Brian asked. “I’m at my parents’ house.” Justin said. “Mom called me and told me that Molly was ready, so I come here and Molly is nowhere to be found.” “Then leave.” Brian told him. “She’s on her way now.” Justin told him. “Where are you?” “Still in bed.” Brian told him and sighed. “I don’t want to move. I feel like I am packed with a bunch of rocks.” “Just stay in bed. I’ll be there soon. Do you want me to bring you anything?” Justin asked. “No.” Brian told him. “Where is Jack?” “Apparently, he didn’t come home last night.” Justin said smirking. “Oh.” Brian said. “Okay. Later.” “Later.” Justin said hanging up. Brian licked his lips and decided to get something to eat in the kitchen. He sat up slowly and took a deep breath once he managed that. “Oh, god.” Brian hissed as a sharp pain hit him. Brian frowned and held his belly. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly. He got up after struggling a bit and picked the phone again. He then called Michael as he went to the closet. “Yeah.” Michael said. “I think I’m having the baby. I’m not quite sure. Can you come over?” Brian asked. “What?” Michael asked shocked. Michael couldn’t believe that Brian was so calm. “I’m calling Justin now. Just come.” Brian told him and hung up. Brian got dressed slowly and then picked up his carry on, just in case. He called Justin and told him what was going on. By the time he was ready, Michael was there. They drove to the hospital and Michael was the one freaking out. “Just relax.” Brian told him. “Hi. My name is Brian Kinney. I’ve been having contractions…uh like eleven minutes apart. I don’t know if it’s false labor. I am in pain.” Brian told the nurse. The nurse nodded and got up to get a doctor. Brian was sat in a wheelchair to be taken to a room and all the time he was relaxed as if nothing big was going on. *** Justin reached the hospital with Molly and Liam in tow. He found Michael pacing the hospital hall with Emmett and Ted sitting on the chairs. “Where is Brian?” Justin asked. “He’s been waiting for you. He is telling the doctor that he won’t take any drugs until you get here. Hurry up.” Michael told him, pointing at the room. By the time that Justin got into the room, the last baby was being pulled out. “He is a bad man.” Brian drawled. Justin went over to Brian and kissed him on the forehead. “He pinched me.” Brian whispered. “We had to.” The doctor said. “We had to get the babies out. He wasn’t cooperating.” Justin nodded. “What did we have?” Justin asked. “You had two boys and two girls.” The doctor said. “First there was a girl, then two boys and then another girl.” Justin smiled and looked at Brian who was fighting to keep awake. He kissed the brunet and a tear ran down his face. He was happy that everything had been okay with Brian and the babies. *** “Oh my god. They are all so beautiful.” Debbie said not able to keep her eyes away from any of the babies. Brian smiled as he held one of the boys. “What are their names?” Emmett asked holding the other boy. “Jack.” Justin said. “You named Liam, why not these too?” Jack smiled. “Really?” Jack asked. Brian and Justin looked at each other and nodded. “Okay.” Jack said looking at the little girl he was holding. “Which of the girls is older?” “This one.” Justin said walking nearer to Jack with his other daughter. The baby Justin was holding had blue eyes and red hair. The one Jack had in his arms had blond hair and hazel eyes. “Well, she will be Illona.” Jack said and looked at the one he was holding. “And this one is Fiona.” Justin smiled. He liked the names. “What about the boys?” Emmett asked. “This one.” “Keefe.” Jack said smiling and looked at Brian. “And Sheridan.” Brian opened his eyes wide and then shook his head. He smiled as he held Sheridan. He knew it mean the wild one and he was already getting scared. “How are you going to tell them apart?” Melanie asked. “The boys look the same.” It was true. Both boys had brown hair and blue eyes. “Sheridan has a birth mark on his neck.” Brian said. “And I swear to god that I can see Keefe smirking like Brian.” Justin said smiling. “Wow. Four kids, Brian.” Ted said. “You have my respect. I would never have been able to do that.” Brian smiled and looked at Lindsay. “Could you stop that?” Brian asked. Lindsay smiled and shook her head. She had been taking pictures of everything nonstop. Chris was sitting on the chair with Liam on his lap. He was so happy to see the babies. He couldn’t wait to have his. “This one looks just like you.” Vic said to Justin as he took Illona from Jack. Justin smiled and nodded. “Can I come in?” Joan asked. Everyone stopped talking and looked towards the door. Joan stood there looking at them. They all looked back at Brian who seemed like he had just seen a ghost. He looked at his father who smiled at him. He returned his stare back to his mother and just nodded. *** Brian closed the door to the nursery and looked at Justin who was staring at the babies with Liam next to him. He approached the blond and smiled. “They are finally here.” Brian said. Justin nodded. “I wan one.” Liam yelled making Illona wake up. “Shhh.” Justin told him and bent down to pick Liam up. Brian smiled as he looked at his kids. He couldn’t believe they were finally here. “Stop it, Liam.” Justin said holding Liam who was struggling. “I wan see.” Liam protested as leaned forward, looking at the babies. Brian smiled and watched his boy. “Oh. Pwetty.” Liam said and reached for Keefe. “I wan one.” Justin smiled as he watched them sleeping. “They are all yours.” Brian assured him. “Yeah?” Liam asked as he looked at his father and then back at the babies. “Mine.” “The guys are coming later.” Justin told him. “They want to see them.” Brian nodded. “Jennifer and Craig are coming too.” Justin said. “Why?” Brian asked. “They are dropping Molly off and want to see the kids.” Justin told him. “I’m tired of fighting with them. I won’t let them stay long.” Brian sighed and nodded. He knew there was no arguing it with Justin. He could see that the blond was distant and anything could set him off. He just hoped that whatever was bothering Justin would get fixed soon. *** Jack was in the kitchen having a drink when Craig came in. He looked at the man and studied him. “I am looking for something to drink.” Craig said. Jack nodded and got up from the stool. “What do you want?” Jack asked him. “Water would be fine.” Craig told him. Jack opened the fridge and got out a bottle of water. Craig took it and thanked him. “So.” Jack said when Craig was about to turn and leave. Craig just stared at him. “You are Justin’s father.” Jack said smiling. Craig nodded. “I always wondered what you looked like.” Jack told him. Craig frowned. “Why is that?” Craig asked. “I always thought you had like three eyes and sharp teeth with green skin and wings or something. Maybe a few extra legs and arms.” Jack said smirking. “I mean, isn’t that what monsters look like.” Craig glared at the man. “I am not…I made some mistakes.” Craig said looking at the floor. “I know I did.” “No shit.” Jack said. “What you did to him has no name. How can you show your face here?” Craig frowned and looked away not knowing what to say. He knew he had done something horrible to his son and he was trying to show everyone that he was sorry. “If you hurt him again, I will hurt you.” Jack told him. Craig shook his head. “I don’t want to hurt him. I want to help him. I was wrong and I am trying to make everything right.” Craig assured him. Jack arched a brow and nodded. “Forgive me if I don’t believe you.” Jack told him. Craig nodded. “I understand that you won’t. I don’t blame you. No one wants us here but we want to make it up to all of you. We treated everyone badly and we are going to fix that some day.” Craig told him. “I guess everyone deserve a second chance.” Jack pointed out. “Don’t fuck it up. You won’t like what happens.” Craig looked at Jack and saw that the man was serious. “What’s going on here?” Michael asked looking from one man to the other. “Nothing.” Jack said. “I was just getting something to drink.” Jack gave Craig one last warning look before he left the kitchen. Michael arched a brow towards Craig who gave him a weak smile and left too. Michael stood there for a second wondering what had happened before he moved to the fridge to get a water for Chris. *** Jennifer walked out of the house and into the backyard. She had seen Justin walking outside a while ago, but he hadn't come back. “Hey.” Jennifer said sitting next to her son. Justin looked at her but didn’t say anything. “How have you been?” Jennifer asked. “I’m fine.” Justin told her. “Are you sure?” Jennifer asked. Justin nodded. “Why wouldn’t I be?” Justin asked. “Because you just lost a baby.” Jennifer told him. “And now you have these other four kids to deal with plus Liam. And you wonder why that one didn’t make it.” Justin’s eyes watered. “It was my fault.” Justin whispered. “I highly doubt that.” Jennifer told him. Justin sniffed and just nodded. “You are a great father, Justin.” Jennifer told him. “I know it must be horrible. I am sorry it happened. I know it’s going to take some time for you to heal but don’t let that affect your life with Brian.” “What do you know?” Justin asked angrily. Jennifer smiled and stared ahead. She stayed quiet for a few seconds and then answered. “I’m your mother Justin. I know you. I know I haven’t always been there for you. That I made a huge mistake and I’m sorry. But that doesn’t stop me from being your mom and always knowing you. I can see it in the way you to act around each other. I can see through that. Things are not okay.” Jennifer told him. “I can see how stressed you are.” Justin shook his head and got up. “You don’t know anything.” Justin told her. “Brian and I…are fine. Just fine.” Jennifer nodded and watched him go. She stayed there wondering if Justin thought he was fine or if he was hiding the fact that he wasn’t. She didn’t want anything bad to happen to her son. *** Brian sat on the bed and rubbed his temples. He couldn’t believe how tired he was. “They are all finally asleep.” Justin said as he sat down on the bed. “Are we going to survive this?” Brian asked. Justin smirked. “Your mom called.” Justin said. Brian groaned. “I think she is coping very well with this.” Justin pointed out. Brian shrugged. “Whatever.” Brian told him. “At least the guys talked to her.” Justin said. “No one talked to my parents.” Brian arched a brow as he looked at Justin. “Which I don’t blame them. I’m just saying. Joan is like one level up in my book.” Justin told him. “Can we not talk about this?” Brian asked. Justin nodded and got up. He started to take off his clothes to get in bed. Brian licked his lips as he watched Justin undress. “Justin.” Brian whispered. “What?” Justin asked. “Come here.” Brian told him. Justin turned around and looked at him. He smiled and moved closer to the brunet. “What is it?” Justin asked. Brian kissed Justin’s stomach and then licked the spot. Justin pushed Brian away. “I am tired, Brian.” Justin told him. Brian looked at Justin and nodded. Then he sighed and looked at the blond again. “We have to talk.” Brian told him. Justin stopped moving and stared at Brian. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly as he sat on the bed. “This is not working.” Justin said, in a hoarse voice, breaking the silence. “I know.” Brian told him. “So what now?” Justin asked looking up at Brian. Brian frowned as he looked back at the blond. He was trying to think of the perfect thing to say that would fix everything, but nothing came to mind.
