This is SO AU I made a list of bizarre changes (hey, you get bored on a plane). I didn't like the way Cowboys and Angels was coming (and I love how I'm typing in past tense here) so I morphed it into this. I will not stop writing that fic though, for those who like it. Anyways, 11 hours on a plane will make you very bored and I conjured up this bizarre VERY VERY VERY AU fic. Here's the bizarreness: -Brian behaves very immaturely (teenage boy) -MPREG, and Justin already has a toddler -Highschool fic -Micheal is Brian's older brother and his behavior is so OOC I should have created a whole new character but whatever. Brian also has an AU younger brother (named Frankie) -Joan Kinney is the mom of all 3 boys. She is loving and accepting of B & M's 'gayness' -Jack Kinney is in jail and the kinney family has a not so secret secret (think irish mob) -Takes place in NY I swear, its better than it sounds. lol. I agree this sounds weird, and if it's too AU I understand, otherwise it might be interesting. Watch out for some major OOC, although Brian is in no way abusive towards Justin in the ways I have written before. Also, I've been writing POV for a while so my other skills are really, really rusty. This isn't my BEST writng. :p P.S. This story is completed, but since I wrote it out (on the plane) it will take a while to type out. Cheers! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - “Mondays should be banned!” Justin mumbled as he smacked his alarm clock off. He groaned as he threw his legs over the edge of his bed, making his way into the bathroom. He started the water for the shower and stepped in once it was hot enough. Justin closed his eyes imagining what stress the day would bring. Life had changed dramatically four months ago when his mother left him and Niko. As far back as he could remember his mother had been heavy into drugs. Cocaine, heroin, crystal meth…she changed her drug of choice like one would change their underwear. Justin never had a stable home, always shifted back and forth between family members and foster homes. As for his father? Huh? What’s that? He had never met him, and never wanted to. If he was anything like his mother, and he must be to ever have been with her, then he wanted to be as far away from him as possible. There was also the year Justin got pregnant. It was the worst time of his life. But he remembered how not too long ago his mother promised things were changing, they would be a happy family, and mend their relationship. She stayed clean long enough to help Justin through his pregnancy but shortly after the baby was born she fell back into her old habits. Late night feedings, diaper changing, sick late nights of teething, you name it, Justin went through it with Niko. He was two now and Justin loved him more than anything in the world. Niko WAS his world. Justin stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his dripping body. As he made his way back into the room he passed his calendar posted up on a bulletin board. He grabbed a marker off of his desk and crossed off one more day. 124 days and counting since he had heard from his mother. By now, Justin assumed she was never coming back. Half of him was happy, he wouldn’t have to put up with his mother bringing home a new abusive boyfriend every week, no selling everything they owned for drug money, and her tweaker friends couldn’t eat all of the food on one of their munchie binges. But the other half innocently wanted a mother, even if she was a lousy one. He grabbed the two hangers resting on the doorknob that held his St. Dom’s uniform. Thank God for scholarship programs, otherwise he would be forced to rough the public school’s of Long Island. Justin Taylor was 5’6”, with a small but compact frame complimenting his navy blue school uniform. He never wanted to draw too much attention to himself. Actually, he was considered to be a pretty introverted person. Going to school only had one purpose; to finish with a high school diploma. There was no time for boys and he couldn’t be bothered with the annoyance of them asking him out. Usually it was just a joke anyways, because who really wanted to date a teen with a toddler? He glanced in the mirror one last time and then headed off to wake Niko up. “Wake up sleepyhead” Justin gently brushed a few stray hairs from his forehead. His eyes slowly opened and a smile appeared on his tiny lips. His smiles made Justin’s heart melt. It’s what kept him going each day. “I bet your hungry my lil’ man. Let’s brush your teeth and get you dressed,” he picked him up from his tiny bed and set him on the floor. The two of them walked into the bathroom, brushed his teeth and then talked about what he was going to wear for the day. “I neeeed samba,” Niko said stubbornly. “Ohhh you always need,” Justin playfully tickled his belly before pulling his favorite Lion King shirt over his head. He stepped into his jeans and they walked out into the kitchen. “Eggs?” Justin looked at his son with a questionable gaze. “Rooooarrrr”, Niko screamed like a lion. “I’ll take that as a yes” - - - - - - - - - - -5 miles away- - - - - - - - - “Brian! Let’s go! We’re gonna be late!” “Stop your bitchin’ I’m almost ready,” Brian stood inf ront of the mirror in his bedroom inspecting his hair. “We still have to pick up Larry and Raj!” Frankie shifted his weight from side to side getting tired of standing there. “What’s all the yelling about!” Joan inquired, leaning over the top of the stairs “Brian is bitchin out fixin’ his hair like a diva again.” Micheal threw his hands up in the air as if he was giving up. “We have to go, Mom! He’s making us late!” “I’m ready, I’m ready! Lets go lets go!” Brian ran down the stairs, smacked the brim of Micheal’s hat down over his eyes and ran out the door to the car. -back at Justin’s house- Justin hurried Niko into the car and they drove to his friend Breanna’s house to pick her up. “Thank you sooo much for watching him, Mrs. Daugherty.” “No problem, hunny I love having him here!” Breanna’s mom replied. “You two have a great day at school, We’ll see you at 2:15.” Mrs. Daugherty and Niko waved out the door as they got back into the car and drove off. The traffic wasn’t as bad as it normally was, living in New York, but just as they finished parking the obnoxious blare of bass and rap music filled the entire air as a black BMW drove into the lot. “Ugh! They are SO tacky!” Justin commented as they were walking towards the entrance of the school “And cocky!” “I don’t know how anyone could find any of them attractive. I heard they just use guys and throw them away like yesterdays trash.” Breanna had a disgusted look on her face as she glanced back to see the infamous Kinney boys joking around with their friends in the hallway. “Hey hey chick-a-dee’s!” Their friend Kelsey came screeching over to their lockers, which were side by side. Justin had a lot of girl friends. For one thing Niko attracted them like flies, but he didn’t mind in the least. In his mind it meant for free babysitters, which meant for time for studying and hopefully someday college. “What are YOU so excited about?” “Nothin’ I just LOVE Mondays!” Kelsey giggled “Um ok, I think your solo on that one though. I think they should be banned. Especially when one has chemistry with Mr. Bolloski first period.” Justin said with a disgusted look on his face. “Yuck! He is sooo hard. I’m terrified to take his class next semester. Save all your stuff so I can copy it!” Breanna said “Yeah, I’ll check you later at study, I have to get going to his class so I can read over my notes. I heard he was gonna do a pop quiz today.” With that Justin gathered up his books in his hands and headed off to class. As he was beginning to memorize the formula’s, his thoughts were interrupted by a loud “announcement” “Move over! Brian Kinney is here!” He walked straight to the back of the classroom along with his two friends, Chris and Jon. “Move!” He bluntly said to a kid sitting in a back corner seat. The boy scuffled up to the front of the room and Brian took his seat. “Look at shorty over there actually reading this shit.” Brian pointed to Justin who was a few rows across from him. “Maybe if you actually paid attention like SOME of us, you wouldn’t look so stupid every time you got the answers wrong,” Justin shot back. “Oh go drop another kid Taylor!” Justin’s jaw dropped but before he could snap back Mr. Bolloski, the teacher, entered the room. “Everything away! Clear your desks! Pop quiz!” A collective groan followed from the class. “Since so many of you like to cheat in this class,” he looked straight back to Brian, Chris, and Jon all huddled in the back corner, “We are going to do today’s quiz a little differently. Two at a time you are going to come up to the chalkboard. I’ll give a question aloud and you write the formula. I’ll keep score from back here. Starting with you Mr. Kinney since you can’t seem to keep your mouth shut back there I assume you will pass with flying colors and…..you, how about you Mr. Taylor.” Mr. Bolloski’s eyes shifted straight to Justin. Justin walked a few steps ahead of Brian and he eyed Justin’s body carefully. “Nice ass, nice hips,” He mumbled to himself before taking his place opposite of him. “Ready?” Both Justin and Brian nodded and Mr. Bolloski gave the question “What is…h2o.” Justin laughed out loud as he wrote “water” on the board. How much easier could THAT one get? Brian stumbled with his chalk and eventually ended up with “gold” “Unfortunately Brian, not everything in this world is golden” Mr. Bolloski said, trying hard not to crack a smile. “Take a seat. 5 points for you Justin.” “Looks like you don’t have the Midas touch afterall,” Justin snapped at him before taking his seat. Brian stomped back to his desk and put his feet up on the chair infront of him. Nobody, and he meant nobody, ever talked to him that way. Normally, he would be pissed and already plotting on how to get them back. But in this case, he was turned on by Justin’s aggressiveness. No one had ever been so outspoken to him, but he didn’t know much about this boy other than the fact that she was in his chemistry class and had been pregnant a couple years ago. Brian schemed in his head how to get closer to him. He was so mysterious; he had to find out what the story was. Suddenly he was brought back to reality by the blare of the school bell. He picked up his pencil, that was the only thing he brought to class he considered himself too cool for books they cramped his style, and walked out of the room. He took his cell phone from his pocket and decided to text Micheal a few questions. He seemed to know the deal on everyone in school and if he didn’t then he could find out. *bleep, “Mikey” *bleep, “what” *bleep, “What do you know about that guy with the kid? Justin?” *bleep, “I heard he doesn’t date guys from our school and is known to turn EVERY offer down, but a lot of guys try. I’ll ask around some more.” *bleep, “Thanks” *bleep, “Later” Brian slid his phone into his pocket and walked into the cafeteria where his study hall was taking place. His eyes darted around the large loud room scanning every table. Finally he spotted Justin. Sitting there drinking a bottle of water, laughing with his friends. “Jus, when are you gonna come out with us again? We had so much fun last time!!” Kelsey asked. “I don’t know. I really want to but you know I have so much shit going on at home.” “Yeah…that’s really shitty. Have you heard from your mom yet?” Breanna asked, concerned. “Nah. Its been about 4 months. I’m used to it though and you know what me and Niko are better off without her.” Justin plastered a fake confident smile on his face but inside he was crumbling. What kind of mother just takes off on her kid and grandson? Niko didn’t even remember her. Just then Brian approached their table. He invited himself to take a seat next to Breanna, who was sitting directly across from Justin, “Ugh! You again?” The annoyance in Justin’s voice was very apparent as he started clearing his things to get up. “Hey, chill out. What are you so uptight about? I just wanted to ask you a question.” “What? If I’m going to ‘drop another kid’ again?” Brian grimaced. “No, I’m sorry about that – I just want to ask you…” “Ask.” “I don’t really understand any of the shit Mr. Bolloski was talking about in Chemistry. I gotta get at least a B or my Mom will ground me for the rest of my life. I couldn’t help but notice you got every question right today. Is there any chance you could help me study for the test coming up on Friday? We could study at my place after school.” “Sorry, can’t.” Justin’s answer was flat and cold. “Why?” Brian’s face twisted up in confusion, boys DON’T turn him down. “God you are so fucking nosey. If you MUST know, I have to babysit.” “How about Wednesday then?” “Nope. Babysit then too.” “Thursday?” “Babysitting.” “Christ, do you ever get a break?” ”Nope”, Justin felt his insides getting heated as he turned to walk away. Why was Brian so hot? Every time he came near he felt an immediate attraction to him. The way he wore his uniform pants lowly slung on his hips made Justin’s imagination run wild. If he would just stop trying to get his attention then hating him would be much easier. “You don’t chill with boys. You don’t date! You have too much on your plate. Nobody will like you when they find out what your life is really like!” Justin cursed over and over in his head. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Kind sincere, helpful reviews will be gobbled up, so please review! lol.
