………………………………………………………… Chapter Seventeen: I WANT TO BREAK YOUR HEART... “Are you sure, all of them?” Emmett asks Brian as he’s about to leave. He’s holding a big bag of rainbow gummy-bears and he wears a big smile on his face. “Yes, Emm.” Brian has his hand on Emmett’s back and the other opening the door. “Oh, I forgot to tell you, I’m leaving with Clarke for a week in Pittsburgh.” Emmett tells him. “Is that the one who wears make-up and small bows in his hair?” “Yeah! So I’ll be back for your birthday baby.” Emmett hugs Brian like a big teddy bear. “Okay, I gotta go. Give your angel a big sloppy kiss from me.” Emmett kisses Brian and leaves, waving back. Brian closes the door softly and walks towards Justin. He kneels by the large couch and watches him under the big red sheet. As if on cue, Justin slowly wakes up. He feels dizzy but well rested. “Good morning Sunshine.” Brian whispers, biting his lips and smiles sweetly. Justin stretches, his face half hidden in a pillow. “Hey…” Justin opens one eye. “Hope you won’t stare at me like that every morning.” Brian laughs. “Wanna go get your stuff at your place?” Brian asks him softly. “Yeah, I don’t have much though.” “Okay. Come here.” Brian says. He takes his hand, feeling the diamond ring Emmett talked about, against his fingers. He pulls Justin up to his feet and they walk to the kitchen holding hands. “You hungry?” “I’ll just have water.” Justin says, leaning against the counter. Brian grabs a bottle of water and hands it to Justin. Justin looks at the time and reads 2:27pm. Justin drinks his water while Brian grabs his wallet, keys and a black duffle bag. Not bothering about changing their sweats for jeans. Justin puts the rest of the bottle of water back into the fridge and walks to Brian. Brian grabs Justin’s hand and they walk out the mansion. They get in the car and turn it on, Brian drives as Justin tells him where to go and they end up in front of an old building. Some windows are broken and there are no plans whatsoever. They can see a small lake behind the building. The walls are gray and scratched. Justin opens the entrance door, they step up to the third floor and open a creaking door. Brian follows Justin inside. It’s empty, there’s a mattress with a thin white sheet covering it in the middle of the floor, in front of a window. There’s one dresser against the wall and a small door, presumably the bathroom. There’s no sign of fresh paint, only old white walls and a dirty dark hardwood floor. The window is dirty but their can still see through it well enough. They close the door behind them. ………………………………………………………………………………
