Surprise! I know I've been away from writing for quite a while, but I have a new short story that I hope you will find somewhat worth the wait. The setting is post Season 5 by several months. Brian has developed a unique problem that he has only faced one other time. He turns to the psychologist who helped him with Justin's problem after the bashing in hopes of finding a solution. Will the good Doctor figure out the puzzle that is confronting Brian and help him solve it? I dedicate this to Lori, who had been a blessing in my present chaotic life and given me much needed incentive to get back to my writing. Justin Taylor has dreamt about the same man all his life. The man that even after death came back for him.

In the series, Brian and Justin meet in Pittsburgh and they both have New York dreams at one point or another.  What if they never met and didn't connect for the first time until they were in New York?  Would the passion and romance still be there?  This is that AU story.  Brian is slightly OOC because he's getting to the point in his life where he sees the value of having someone special.

Michael, once again, plays the role of creepy voyeur when he finds a video file labeled Honeymoon on Brian's computer. He can't stop himself from watching it and is absolutely shocked to see what he does on the screen. Very NC-18.

QAF/Glee Crossover. Emmett's second cousin Kurt and his boyfriend have come to visit for their spring break. Away from the quiet disapproval of Ohio they make their first visit to Babylon where Kurt discovers an affinity with Brian. Not to mention a mutual admiration of both of their "Significant Others"

Post 513, Justin's New York adventure doesn't turn out like planned, but that's not the end of the world.

Spoilers for all seasons.

Justin is so unhappy and fed up on Christmas, he's seriously considering walking away from his relationship.

Summary: Brian’s worst nightmares collide in an sexually-charged, eggnog-mediated, squirrel-themed board game.

Inspired by the song Little Sister by New Medicine.

Takes place one year after A New York Kind of Love. Justin finally enters the homestretch of his post-NY bombing recovery...

This story started off as a ‘what if’ ... what if Brian hadn’t met Justin until sometime in Season Three?  Which things would be different and which would be the same ... or brought about in a different way?  How would Brian be different?  Would he be better, or would he be worse?  Would he still react to Justin in the same way if they were both a couple of years older?

Anyway, that was how it started; but then I had to supply a background for Justin that was canon to begin with, but ended up being quite different ... and then the whole thing turned into a kind of thriller.  Well, I hope it did.

So I guess this is part what-if, part AU, part thriller ... but most of all, of course, a love story.

For this year's annual Thanksgiving story, we move forward in time to the second year after Justin has moved to New York City.  He and Brian see each other as often as they can, but it is far too seldom for either of them.  When Justin is invited to spend his second Thanksgiving away from Pittsburgh with Mel, Linds, and Gus in Canada he is happy to go thinking he'll see Brian there.  Brian himself crushes that dream.  But will Justin find himself having more to be thankful for than he thought he would?  Read on to find out.  Many thanks to Judy for her beta skills and Marika for the lovely banner.
