Summary:  Brian thinks about the recent events in his life.

Hello folks. Well, this time around I had an inspiration late on a Saturday night. By Sunday night it was written. I don't know where the thought came from, although I usually do. I guess my Muse was feeling frisky.

In this short story, we pick up the scene in the final episode of QAF where Brian is laying in his lonely bed after Justin has left for the airport. This is my version of what happened from that moment on. Warning...about 2/3 of the way in you are going to be jolted. Don't give up. Remember who is writing this and how I like my stories to end. LOL! Now, how about taking a long trip down memory lane with me. Hope you enjoy the journey.

In 305 Stockwell comes into the picture, and Ethan gets offered a job, but he has to play it straight. Justin goes along with it, but I felt like he would have been more against both because of the bashing. My take on what should have happened.

CANON: This is my first canon, takes place in season 5 after Justin has returned from L.A. sometime between Justin moving back in and then leaving Brian again. It's close to the point where he's become totally fed up with Brian's excessive tricking.

Brian declines dinner at Debbie's to run off to a new adventure instead. However he's about to run into one helluva surprise!

After the end of the show I started writing my own virtual sixth season. The first episode picks up three weeks after Justin left for New York. I assume S5 ended in the fall of 2004. Vic died in February, Justin was gone for three months and according to my research the election would have taken place in November. I bent the timeline a bit, but I figured since CowLip wasn't that meticulous about it themselves I'll get away with it ;) . Warning! This is a scriptfic.

This story is completed now and everyone who doesn't like WIPs and therefore didn't start reading - maybe you'd like to give it a try now. I still appreciate your feedback :)
